Bill W's review is right on the money! We both pop into a lot of places in the Lake Norman area and we don't always agree--he's more strict than me. But we definitely agree here. I have been working all day and was seeking lunch at 6:25 p.m. When I walked in, one dude was clearly disappointed a customer walked in. I ran to the bathroom to give them time to finish what they were doing and gave benefit of doubt. When I returned, neither of them even looked up, and one had earbuds in. Who the hell trains this staff? This isn't the first time this has happened at this location. I love Jersey Mike's in Sherills Ford, the two in Mooresville, and the one in Huntersville is solid. All great staffs. This one kind of sucks. I will never return. Neither should you. Rather give my business to a friendlier staff. Crazy Update! I go to Jimmy John's around corner and greeted with smile. I tell her about JMs experience and customer says to me: "They're always miserable over there. I won't go back." Have never been a big fan of the Jersey Mike's stores but this one is the worst. Came in today for lunch and order a Turkey and Provolone Sandwich for my wife and I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich along with two bags of Chips to go. Wifes Sandwich came out quick but after a long wait and constantly being told to move and after two moves to accommodate other customers, I gave up and left. Total Focus is on moving people through and out the door as quickly as possible. I did have a little of my wife's sandwich when I got home and it was OK but no way I can comment on the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich because last time I checked, it was still out there in Limbo. read more

Order 5 sandwiches on a Tuesday, only 4 show up. Someone must be missing a finger and can only count to 4. Call DoorDash they say call Jersey Mike, jersey Mike says nothing we can do, call DoorDash, ... so they play the blame game and I'm still out a sandwich and someone on the crew does not eat cause nobody has people capable of counting to 5!!! Do I sound angry? Yes I'm Angry, I get to skip lunch and I'm the guy paying for lunch!! I hear firehouse subs knows how to count to 5!! We stopped last night for sandwiches. My husband ordered a #17....was not asked about any condiments. Had only meat and cheese when she handed us the sandwich!!! So...I go to the cashier and she says what did you order...told her the numbers and said I have points for 1. Assuming it was done correctly she goes and rings it up and I check out. Only to find out I was charged. Then I go to say something and she proceeds to tell me it was basically my fault. Said I though I was telling her I "wanted points". This used to be one of my favorite places to eat up until recently. Went in to get a sub with my wife about a month ago and the sub had no flavor and was thrown together. Went to try it again today and ordered a roast beef sub with toppings, and it had the same lack of flavor. The girl working there that made the sun acted like she didn't want to be there and didn't put half the toppings on the sub that was requested. I will never go and waste my money here again. Jersey Mikes is good just because Jersey Mikes is good. Good quality meat, bread, fixings, etc. This location is kind of tucked away in a strip mall off of Hwy 73 in Denver. They seem to pile the meat on a little thicker than some locations (Sorry staff if I just got you in trouble with the franchisee.) which gets me to go there more often than I otherwise might (Hear that franchisee?). I like this chain, but this location is a mess. When we arrived the team was telling everyone that they only had 2 kinds of bread (wheat and Rosemary), throughout the visit, they continued to tell people that the white bread wad in the oven and those who had ordered other kinds of bread online arrived to their orders not made. I ordered a hot sandwich and 15 minutes later the sandwich was nowhere in site. 6 people had come and gone with cold sandwiches. When I finally asked about my sandwich, it was not close to being done; they offered a refund and then didn't know how to do a refund. I left without a sandwich or refund and this was after adding a "tip" before the meal was delivered. VERY FRUSTRATING. Regarding COVID-19 safety measures; 4 of the 5 employees were wearing masks but only one was wearing it correctly. The male cashier had the mask around his chin/beard with neither his nose or mouth covered, he was handling sandwiches. The female employees were both wearing their masks below their noses and one of the grill guys had no mask at all. No one stopped to wash or sanitize their hands. I'm not giving them one star because of the food, it's due to their lack of phone service. I have phoned them on several occasions and they dont answer the phone. I'm not talking during peak times. I called today at 2pm and no answer. I called for 30min straight. It's the third or fourth time it's happened. Telling them does no good so maybe reading about will fix the problem. read more

I really like jersey mikes, and this specific location is always on point. The quality is consistent, along with the customer service and cleanliness of the store. I always go with the regular tuna sub, but my Wife and other family members try other sandwiches and always say how well they taste. If you haven't tried Jersey mikes, you're missing out! I love Jersey Mike's..Bur called in order with 30 to 45 min. pick up time..that was cool..but I ordered a # 9..NO mayo and wanted roast beef heated so it was not so rare..It was full of mayo and roast beef was way too rare for me..for 16 + dollars for a sub and a 45 min time for pick up..you would think they would get it right..Rhis location is always getting orders wrong. read more

New ownership about a year or so ago has been good for sure... BUT they just recently stopped offering cucumbers. Silly and ridiculous for me to make an issue of this, I get it, but if that's an important part of your sub and it's no longer available then it's a problem. Every time I would order online and want my sub grilled and/or toasted, they never do it. The receipt even says "grilled" on it; therefore, when I go to pick it up, it is not grilled and I have to wait on them to make another sub. The employees are also rude and the tables are nasty. Roast beef on wheat is good. $10 for a small sub and drink? In that price range id rather pay $3 more and get a sirloin on lunch special. I go here because subway has just become so bad I've contemplated shooting myself in the face midway through their ham on wheat. They just serve you a big bread sandwich with a smile. Jersey Mikes used to be my favorite sub place. Stopped at this location last night and had the worst sub I've ever had. Bread was more than a day old. Onions were very close to rotten and ruined the whole sandwich. At checkout, a screen pops up asking if you want to leave a 10-15-20% tip? Won't ever be back! Excellent sandwiches, meat is sliced to order on whichever sub you choose. Number 13 original Italian, and number 56 big Kahuna steak sandwich are my favorite. terrible. gross. place was a mess not one clean table! They dont clean the ice machine. I had black stuff come out w my icee! Everything was filthy. They ran out of turkey right before it was our turn. I over heard a customer telling employee last time she came in they ran out of lettuce, tomato and bacon and had to run to the store?? Employees were not confident and didnt seem to like talking to customers. I will never be back i think someone should call health department. read more
