Solid 4.5 stars and I'm rounding up. My go-to order is a Little Bacon Cheeseburger, all the way with hot sauce, plus a Little Cajun Fries. The burgers are always great and whenever I'm talking to friends about the best fast casual burger, Five Guys always comes up as a favorite. I love they're cooking everything right in front of me, always fresh and hot off the griddle. The beef, toppings, and buns are top notch. The fries are really good too, they're chopping potatoes fresh every day, frying them right in front of you, and the Cajun seasoning is on point. Bonus points for having cups for ketchup to take to go, and peanuts available while I wait. These two things make me want to round up - ketchup especially is super annoying if all you have are little packets to deal with, honestly the cups (with lids) here are worth the bonus .5 stars read more

They were building this Five Guys location last year when we were moving from Cornelius to Denver NC so first time visiting. Very familiar with other locations in Mooresville, North Lake and others so very familiar with the Chain. After waiting forever for a Chicago Dog at Matts that never showed up, decided to give this new location a try. It's easy to see how this place gets missed because it's tucked away in the back of a small shopping center in the same building as an urgent care center. Walked in and went straight to the counter and placed my order after reviewing the menu. Since I was starting a diet the next day, I was a bit lenient with the calories count. Ordered a Cheese Burger all the way which in of itself is about 980 calories but ordered it all the way which added another 180 calories to it. Also made it a combo which included an order of French Fries and the portions size of the fries is tremendous. Total bill was a little over $17 but $4.75 of that was the Fries. Burger was outstanding and pilled high to the point where the burger kept wanting to slip out. Excellent taste, cooked perfectly. Glad I never got my Chicago Dog because the Cheeseburger was outstanding. Will be back and will become a regular at this location since I am in Cornelius several times a week. read more

Not sure they have 2.5 stars because this place is great. This is only my second time at a five guys and it's so good. I try not to go often because of the grease but man oh man if I could have it everyday I would :) We ordered two burgers, a large fry, and two shakes. Five Guys on River Highway is always one thing, awesome! Their customer service is great, the cleanliness of the store is consistent, and the burgers, fries, shakes and hot dogs always exactly the way you order them! They also give back to the community so much, we were in last week and it was a school night, giving back portion of sales to support a local school. One of our favorites. read more

Quality food but this crap is so damn expensive. It took little time for my food to be ready. But again, way too expensive.

Horrible! Let's start with the price point: I got 3 small burgers 1 small / 1 large fry and a medium drink = $36.74. Next let's discuss the burgers, all 3 burgers were soggy. The buns just mushed away within several bites and we all had to use forks to finish. Lastly, the fries were so salty we couldn't eat them! We will never be going back! First visit to this new location. Was really surprised when I walked in and they were blasting Metallica on 10. It was so loud I had a yell my order to the employee. Half way through ordering the guy taking my order, along with his co-workers started giggling and laughing out loud. I'm not sure if they were laughing at me or something else, but it doesn't matter, it was disrespectful. Took my order as take out and it was good. Not sure I'll be rushing back to this location. Seems they care more about the staff having a good time than they do serving their customers. Spent $42 dollars here. Couldn't bother to take the time to make sure I had everything I asked for. Got one piece of bacon on two burgers. Call up there woman on the phone immediately has an attitude. Immediate response should have been an apology not "well first of all". This is now THE ONLY place I'll get Burgers and Fries! I have a really hard time believing that this is a brand new location. The employees have made themselves right at home like they've been doing it for years. Kudos to the management team & owners that make it possible. The burgers are bursting juicy with high quality meat & everything from top bun to bottom bun is so obviously FRESH. Next up is the fries. Oh the fries... Crispy golden skins with a meaty, melt in your mouth center, to create generously salted perfection. A delightfully cold creamy milkshake compliments the fries perfectly. It's a work of art. Am I raving? YES! This Five Guys has made a believer out of me! One of my favorite things about this place is the simply delightful staff. They are so genuinely friendly and accommodating. None of that generic scripted mumbo-jumbo. To top it all off they always appear to be having fun while still working their tails off. You really can't put a price on feeling welcome. Another important note: Possibly the CLEANEST restaurant I've seen since I can remember. I've literally had surgery in places that aren't as clean. Staff is constantly disinfecting and sanitizing. 100% on proper mask safety procedures and handwashing. If you couldn't tell already I just simply LOVE IT! Five Guys for life! read more
