They were building this Five Guys location last year when we were moving from Cornelius to Denver NC so first time visiting. Very familiar with other locations in Mooresville, North Lake and others so very familiar with the Chain. After waiting forever for a Chicago Dog at Matts that never showed up, decided to give this new location a try. It's easy to see how this place gets missed because it's tucked away in the back of a small shopping center in the same building as an urgent care center. Walked in and went straight to the counter and placed my order after reviewing the menu. Since I was starting a diet the next day, I was a bit lenient with the calories count. Ordered a Cheese Burger all the way which in of itself is about 980 calories but ordered it all the way which added another 180 calories to it. Also made it a combo which included an order of French Fries and the portions size of the fries is tremendous. Total bill was a little over $17 but $4.75 of that was the Fries. Burger was outstanding and pilled high to the point where the burger kept wanting to slip out. Excellent taste, cooked perfectly. Glad I never got my Chicago Dog because the Cheeseburger was outstanding. Will be back and will become a regular at this location since I am in Cornelius several times a week.

Not sure they have 2.5 stars because this place is great. This is only my second time at a five guys and it's so good. I try not to go often because of the grease but man oh man if I could have it everyday I would :) We ordered two burgers, a large fry, and two shakes. Great customer service, fast service, and it was a very clean establishment. Everyone wore masks as well. Definitely will be back...food was AMAZING!

Quality food but this crap is so damn expensive. It took little time for my food to be ready. But again, way too expensive.

Fresh Egg - Where Diets Go to Die (Happily)…read more Our group of 4 1/2 (yes, somebody only ate half their plate because self-control showed up late ) walked into Fresh Egg thinking we were just grabbing breakfast... and walked out needing a nap and a moment of silence. Let's talk FOOD. That omelet? Fluffy like it trained at egg boot camp. Stuffed with sausage, ham, bacon, cheese basically the Avengers of breakfast. The home fries were crispy golden cubes of perfection. Not soggy. Not greasy. Just straight-up breakfast excellence. The ham slices were thick and flavorful like they meant business. That biscuit sandwich? Soft, buttery, and holding everything together like a breakfast superhero. And those cheesy grits? Creamy enough to make you emotional. Add melted cheddar and it's basically Southern comfort in a bowl. Portions? Generous. Flavor? Elite. Coffee? Flowing like we were at a caffeine convention. Now let's talk about Jonathan Jonathan delivered AMAZING service. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being forced, and on top of everything like a breakfast conductor running a delicious orchestra. Drinks stayed filled, food came out hot, and he made sure our whole crew felt taken care of. That kind of service turns a good meal into a great experience. The vibe inside? Busy, lively, happy breakfast energy everywhere. You can tell this is a spot people return to again and again. Final verdict: We came hungry. We left full. We left smiling. And yes... we'll be back. Fresh Egg you cracked the code.

This spot delivers exactly what it promises, making it a reliable choice for the area. To start, the coffee was great--hot, fresh, and strong. For my main dish, I opted for a Western omelette. It was perfectly fine, a solid choice, if not spectacular. My husband had the egg, bacon, cheese breakfast sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only reason I'm docking a star is for the side of corn muffins I ordered. They were, unfortunately, a complete letdown. They were hard, dry, and truly tasted like small stones. Even piling on the soft, fresh butter couldn't save them. However, the excellent service and the positive experience with the main dishes and coffee easily outweigh one bad side item. We had a good meal overall, and I would definitely go back again (and just skip the corn muffins next time!).

Darn it! I saw the sign for the $5 after 5pm after I already placed my order. What a deal!…read more Anyways, I needed to give Bo's another go, since my first and only experience was their Charlotte airport (CLT) location, and we all know we can't judge an establishment based on the substandard airport locations. I got the two piece meal (thigh and drumstick) with coleslaw, dirty rice and a biscuit. We also ordered the blackberry cobbler. I thought everything was good! The chicken was crispy and juicy. My only complaint would be the thigh had a lot of batter and not that much meat. The coleslaw was crisp and creamy and the dirty rice was fluffy and savory. I'd pass on the cobbler next time. It was literally a biscuit covered with blackberry jam and icing. 3.5 stars rounded up.

Every time I have gone here I have to mentally prepare to deal with incompetence. It feels like the staff here are using 30% of their cognitive abilities. NEVER order DoorDash from here or that percent will go down to 5%. They will fully not care at all if your order is even near correct. They recently renovated and when we gave the Bojangles another shot, we spent several minutes at the window waiting because their drive through window was broken and none of the employees could open it. Then, once they finally did they said they did not have any food at all. We are used to them always telling us they are out of SOMETHING every single time, but saying that they had no food......why is this place even open? Why did they even take the time to renovate this business that should just be shut down? All of the employees are very rude, they are very slow and lazy, and they don't know how to double check an order for accuracy. The drinks always tasted questionable, and were always watered down. The chicken had no consistency, it would be a different shape, taste, and temperature every time we came here. Unfortunately this Bojangles is the closest one to us but since they literally raise our cortisol I will not be attending again.

We had the misfortune today of wasting an 1 hr. roundtrip drive to experience the worst gyros possibly ever made. New management, NO manager on the floor, young people working their first job here. I don't know what side of the planet one would have to travel to suffer more offensive gyros like these. Unlike the original lamb gyros, these were some hybrid, air-injected, whipped-up meat molded back together to give the appearance of meat. One did not need teeth to bite through this mush-meat substitute with zero flavor. I tried three small bites and threw out the meal, as did my wife. The sandwich came out lukewarm and the fries barely warm. We spent $26.00, took a few bites, and walked the food back to the counter to throw it out. We asked to speak to a manager; nope, none here. We politely informed them how poor the food tasted, and that is when we found out about the new owners. We told them we were offended by the product, and they just walked away, not their problem. There was not one table with customers; how could they serve non-hot food? We informed them that we would never be back; embarrassing product. We were wiping our lips an hour later after the few bites, attempting to get the taste off our lips. It tasted like some type of grease fat - disgusting. As I write this, I see my previous review of 3-16-2024. This is HOW far this new restaurant has slid down the hill. They are currently doing a carryout business; this will NOT last long. The ONLY thing that gives this a 1-star rating is the fact that it looks like a restaurant and the walls are still standing. Could you make any less effort to run a business????

We're talking chicken nuggets (love them btw), fries, cheese curds, even "walking tacos". Truly a solid menu with little to no disappointing items. Food - it's not incredible, but it's good and it's reliable. Open Late - gotta give a star for being open 10:30am - 2am. As someone who likes to eat an early lunch and sometimes a super late meal/snack, I'm happy Cookout is always there for a quick stop. Milkshakes - are they the best, no. But they're solid and there's tons of options. If you're sick of the ice cream machine being broken at other places, def don't sleep on a Cookout shake. My fav order is a regular cheeseburger (always rotating styles), with chicken nuggets and a walking tacos. Can't go wrong. Also a shoutout to the giant styrofoam cups with tons of ice included in a tray.
