I LOVED my side of Crafty Beans. My second side of Mac 'n Cheese also was tasty. My wife almost finished her perfectly cooked Crafty BBQ Burg'r. Nice atmosphere and speedy service. Server was quick to take our drink orders, which were delivered quickly, and our food orders a few mins later. Husband ordered Guinness which came in a bottle. Two of us ordered chicken tenders, and three ordered burgers. Everything arrived after about 10 mins, and cooked exactly as expected. I had the chicken fingers which were way bigger than fingers, with onion rings and the rotating side which was a garbanzo salad. There were 4 flattened and breaded pieces of chicken breasts and crispy batter fried onion rings. The salad had garbanzo beans, tomatoes, peppers, onion, and cucumbers with a light vinaigrette. It was all a huge portion and really good. Would definitely order this again. Noise level was low as it was getting close to their closing time. Server was polite and professional. She checked on us regularly but didn't rush us. Will definitely return.

I don't normally come in to this location; this is only my second visit here. They have very friendly staff who allows you to seat yourself. Not too busy on a midday Saturday so there was ample seating. Our server came by for drink orders and gave us a chance to look over the menu. We decided on a BBQ chicken sandwich with onion rings and French fries and an Asian chicken salad. The sandwich was piping hot and done really well. It was the first time trying a salad here and it was definitely good. It was too big to finish, so I had half wrapped up. Loved the hot chicken on top of cold salad. Very tasty. I would definitely return to this location. I am not always by this Crafty Burgr, but service here was very good and the place had a comfortable feel, not too loud and nice and bright. Overall, good experience.

I have tried this place three times. Here are my three experiences…read more.. 1. Loud and drunk people on a Friday night. I walked in and walked out. 2. I entered on a Tuesday afternoon and it was relatively empty. Staff just looked at me like: "Who the hell is this guy?" I left. 3. Last night, which was a Wednesday. It was very odd because the light crowd made it feel like a VFW yet there was a bouncer at the door. Huh? Any place that has a bouncer is probably bad news if you just want to chill. I chose to roll with it anyway and when I asked the bartender if they had a drink menu, she placed a small sign in front of me with a QR Code for the menu. This shouldn't be a big deal but this is why I left. I don't go somewhere to have to use my phone. If I want a beer (or wine), I'm there to relax, not work. I was also in a dark corner of the bar, where it's like being trapped in a corner. Btw, there was a drunk guy singing in the bathroom. When at Kickback Jacks all the way in Mooresville, two people mentioned this place to me and how great it was. So, I think this is a "It's me, not you" situation. The place should make sense in theory--it should be enjoyable when you look at it. In reality, it's a no for me. I'll stick to my favorite haunts (and find a new place to add so I have 3.5). All that said, I still might pop in one more time during the day to confirm I don't like it. This review is subjective. Objectively, you might love it. For me, I have tried three times and have never felt an ounce of warmth from the atmosphere or anyone. You gotta feel good walking into a place. If you don't, then no matter how good it looks, it's not your place.

I get the nostalgia, but let's be real--the Rudder was a dive with average-at-best bar food. This is a completely different level. Hello, Sailor is polished, fun, and has an atmosphere that actually feels like a destination on the lake. More importantly, the food is outstanding. Creative, well-executed, and far beyond what you typically expect from a waterfront spot. What surprises me most is how many people still won't give it a shot because of old opinions. That's a miss. If you go in with an open mind, you'll realize quickly this place is doing things right. It's absolutely worth trying--and once you do, you'll wonder why the ratings don't reflect it.

Two of us asked if we could combine two sauces into one for all 12 wings, and one wanted to split his wings between two sauces, 6 and 6. "No problem" said the waitress. We waited and it was busy so the time was based on the situation (patrons shouldn't suffer though because you didn't staff your bar appropriately). The wings were delivered and they were crispy, amazingly cooked. We ordered the honey habanero and lemon pepper combo (again we asked if we could do this). There was zero spice so habanero needs to not be in that wing sauce name. Still though, that cook killed it-crispy. (Props-big time). So we get our bill and see we were charged a total of $6 extra dollars because we ordered different sauces. Huh? Do you charge to sauce the wings? If anything I should have been charged $1 for the extra lemon pepper seasoning you had to shake in there. But instead we were charged $2 per dozen for an extra $6 on the bill. Thats a jerk move. Legit, especially when things are getting tight out there, you have families there. Look you want to charge for extra sauce then whatever, but let people know. Have a big ole header that says "we have a weak honey habanero and any sauce you add will cost you a buck per sauce". This place clearly has a following and me not coming here again isn't going to do anything. I just want people to see this pricing insanity.

It is NOT close to our house but when we want pizza, this is our "go to" place. We started with one of their appetizers, Mayweather's Meatballs. There were three in the order, and they are delicious. Now, I do love meatballs so I'm biased but these are good. There are a number of Italian restaurants in the Charlotte atea that could use meatballs this good on their spaghetti! We also ordered three pizzas; the Babe Ruth Meat Lovers pizza, the Buffalo Bill Chicken pizza, and the White Out pizza. We sat in the bar and the bartender offered great options on how to enhance our pizzas. He suggested adding onions and banana peppers to the Babe Ruth Meat Lovers. It was awesome! He recommended adding chicken and mushrooms to the White Out Pizza. Again, awesome. My son ordered the Buffalo Bill Chicken pizza and ate the whole thing in the restaurant....no leftovers. This restaurant is good for families, adult groups, or couples looking for a quiet night out and good food. There are TV's in the bar offering sports but there are no loud speakers. The background noise is minimal....you can talk to the folks at your table. Will definietly go back.
