having recently experienced the foodness of Miss Tamale how could I pass on a joint calling itself Mr. Burrito? it's a nice little divey place; not so divey you wouldn't bring the whole family for lunch and yet divey enough that you can afford to... so come on in and find a place to sit, menus and chips will arrive shortly but you have to ask for water. so many options and so many plates: some I'm familiar with, some I know well, but many are complete strangers to me..? it's not just the dishes but the fixing too. even the waitress had a tough time with a few of them. so how about I go with the bistek a la mexicana then. seasoned sliced steaky bits with tomato, peppers, and onion. comes with beans and rice and choice of corn or flour tortillas plus guac, pico, and lettuce shreds. don't know if it was the best steaks I've had but it sure was good and filling and I managed to take some home in a box to have with breakfast... prolly gonna get back here sooner rather than later and have a go at another part of the menu and some other type of guzzintas. read more

I finally decided to give this place a try. I am so glad I did. I will definitely be back. The place is clean. They have a sanitation grade of 98.0 posted. The atmosphere is a latin vibe including modern Mexican music playing in the background. The employees are very nice. The owner even came out and spoke with us. The service was efficient. The ingredients in our food seemed super fresh. We both ordered the Mr. Burrito. I got mine with steak. It was really good. The portion size was huge. The price was very reasonable. They also offered a menu of desserts and an ice cream bar. We were too full for dessert but I want to try some of their offerings! read more

Food was super fresh, and very flavorful. Hubby got a 2 hand burrito. It was like the size of a newborn baby. He loved every bit of it. We enjoyed the freshly sautéed veggies inside. My son had elote. We are from California so we can spot authenticity and we are glad we found this place. The elote was delicious. And although it's a simple dish some places can mess it up. But not here. Everything was priced well. And worth the price. My husband wanted to come back same day, I told him he was greedy. It too my way too long to come check this place out. In my defense, there are a ton of Mexican options in the area but this place rose to my number one spot for said dishes quickly. First off, it is a quirky little restaurant that is fast casual in nature. Right up front is the counter but they also have a whole ice cream bar. But- they have so much more than that. I couldn't help but order the mangonada. It was absolutely delicious. Slightly over frozen but the flavors were on point. My brother got the horchata and his wife another mangonada. He also got their namesake burrito which he said was like eating a fajita burrito style. I had the carnitas and coupled with their green sauce it was an easy 10/10. I usually order carnitas to benchmark a Mexican restaurant and I am glad for that routine this time around. I can't wait to go back. Although I'll eventually order in, I'm a sucker for fast casual places. Everything was packaged neatly with all the fixings. Not pictured were their super thin and crispy chips that weren't stale the day after. The salsas were just as fresh. The only problem is I wish I had more to munch on today! The last thing I have to mention is the service. It was seriously unmatched. Although we walked in for a to go order without a clue of the menu, we were given their full attention. My brother was indecisive and we had a wonderful person walk him through the flavors of ice cream while allowing for samples. He was so indecisive that after we ordered and paid, he made a second order. Both came out super quick. If for no other reason, this place deserves full stars on their customer service alone. The Two Hand burrito is enough for three. I had carnitas. Filled with carnitas, beans, rice, guacamole, peppers and a little lettuce and sour cream. WOW! Despite the name this seems like a pretty authentic Mexican restaurant. I expected it to be overly Americanized, I was pleasantly surprised that it was not. I got 2 orders of quesa birria. They were very good. They included a sauce and the broth for dipping. Cilantro, onions and lime were under the parchment paper. I came in here since I just moved near and I'm shocked at how good prices are. I ordered tacos de asada & chorizo. I also ordered a takielote ( street corn with crumbled spicy chips) It was a snack and it was amazing tbh. I would've added Valentina hot sauce and it would've been perfect. At work and decided to try this place , a coworker and I got the birria tacos and this has to be the worst experience We've had getting these tacos. First off they had no flavor which I never thought I would say when describing Mexican food , secondly they were extremely soggy and falling apart when I picked them up ... the sauce was extremely oily and no flavor again ... you would think for 14.50 for 4 tacos it would be amazing but I will never be spending 14.50 on these tacos again!!
