Customer service was great. This place is a Nice little hidden gem. Food was excellent. Dad had the chicken salad in rye bread and I had the chicken salad on Texas toast.

Excellent food, staff and prices. I 100% highly recommend this restaurant and their second breakfast restaurant location. Will is an excellent person with extremely high standards. You will never be disappointed when you go to Will's Doggn' It.

This is a hidden gem of a deli near Charlotte. I have been to almost every deli in and around the city and Will's is hands down THE BEST and closest to a NY style deli in the south. Located just around the corner from George Poston Park (25 minute drive from the city) in a small, yet adorable store. The owner is extremely friendly and it has more of a southern hospitality feel to the inside. I make the drive once a week for their build your own turkey sandwich. I highly recommend having them press your sandwich to give it a crunchy feel on the outside. Huge selection of meats, cheeses and extras to put in your sandwich, along with chips, candy tubs, chocolates and drinks. I also love their pickles they sell in the refrigerator and of course the choice for some hand scooped ice cream for dessert. Worth the drive... you will not be disappointed.

    NYPD. It's arresting.

So here are the Review Cliff notes: Good sandwiches, nice people, you'll be happy you stopped to eat here. Are you still with me? Okay, here's a little more info. This place looks a little funky when you first pull up. It's an old converted house, tucked away in the greenery. Parking can be a little tight right at lunch time. The paint is peeling everywhere. Let's call it rustic. Don't let it deter you. Inside is homey and kind of charming. It's the kind of place that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk inside. Move to the right to order your sandwiches. Make sure you check the specials board. There are menus on the counter which describe the sandwiches and hot dogs in detail. The board above the counter only offers names and prices. I did as I always do. I asked the young woman helping me, what was most popular and what was her favorite. Since the NYPD made both her lists, that's what I ordered. Service was great by the way. It was a very tasty sandwich. Similar to a Philly cheesesteak but with bacon, banana peppers, lettuce and tomato added. The meat was well seasoned, tender and really flavorful and the bacon added a nice crispy texture. The "wedge" sub roll it came on was nice and soft. All in all, a great choice. As you wait for your food you can pick bottled drinks from the cooler or chips and sweets from the shelves. There's other stuff here too. I wouldn't call it a "store" but they have some things you can buy. Mostly food items like homemade pickles. I saw several reviews which mentioned this place was on the pricey side. I paid $11 for a large sandwich, chips and a bottled soda. I don't think that's much more than I would pay at a place like Subway, and this was much, much better. If you're in the area and like sandwiches, it's definitely worth the stop.

Very pleased with my sandwich. I highly recommend this restaurant. I wish they were open a little later, as I work until 7pm.

Good food at a fair price...helpful, courteous staff. Really a 3.5 star, and I'd eat here again.

Food was ok, but they need a new exhaust system. If you walk in there, you are going to smell like fried food. Not a pleasant experience.

But the staff didnt need them they have the charm and personality that makes you look forward to the next visit. Located in a 50 style drive in hamburger stand with a wide space dining area with outside seating. Not like the modern fake built to looklike we see now. The bbq pork was good not over smoked, you can taste the meat and very tasty and moist. Went for the burgers that i had heard local chatter about, so now i have a good excuse to come back.

This place dates back to the 1960's and they have worked to maintain the feel of that time. Like many others, I grew up in small town American in the 1950 and 1960's You walk back and it's a throw back in time to when we were younger. The crowd is older but like me, most are trying to experience a time long since gone. You walk it the door and order from the counter, and they give you a cup for your drink and a tent for your table. I ordered the LottaBBQ which is sliced BBQ along with a side of Mozzarella Sticks. The slice BBQ was very good but came with a Lexington Style (tomato based) Sauce on the side. At least it was on the side. I prefer my BBQ with an Eastern NC Pepper Vinegar Sauce. I had asked to hold off on the Slaw which is characteristic but not because of the taste. Most places in the Carolinas who served slaw on burgers, hot dogs and BBQ call it Carolina Style. My problem is that Slaw starts to exude Cabbage Juice in about an hour and your generally end up with a Soggy Sandwich which I do not like so generally I tell them to just hold off on it. I also ordered Mozzarella Sticks on the side with Marinara Sauce. Generally pretty good except they were cold. Love the retro feel and I feel I was back in HS in Brevard NC back in the 1960"s In aback is covered area that houses a lot of cars. I suspect at one time this was a drive in and may have even had car hops but only speculation on my part. Food is great and again I love the atmosphere. Fun place to have lunch.

Tried to go a couple of other times to other entities but they were always closed or in transition to new owners. We don't live very far away from there and in years past, our mailing address would have been in Stanley till the developer convinced the USPS that the Denver PO could server our needs better. That remains to be seen. Based on the reviews, I want to give them a try, particularly the hand-pattied Cheeseburger. This was Saturday and we left at 10:45 am and got there at 11:00 am My wife is not a Breakfast person, and we time our trips to catch the early part of the Lunch menu. We walked in and seated ourselves as is protocol. Our server showed up shortly with Breakfast menu's and to take our beverage orders. I ask for a Lunch Menu and she replied they do not offer the Lunch Menu over the week end. I've never seen a BLT offered as a breakfast item but there is was under the Biscuits. I also go a side of Hashbrowns. My wife ordered a more traditional breakfast with eggs, hashbrowns toast etc. Not what she would have normally ordered. The BLT is good although a little sparing on the Bacon. Hashbrowns were outstanding however and probably the best I have had in the area. My wife indicated that here meal was OK but not something that she would order again. Service was good but since we did not have an opportunity to leave a tip when the rang us up and since we don't normally carry cash on us, my wife had to go out the car and get a bunch of one's to leave as a tip.
