I originally went to McAlister's, but it took more than 38 seconds, so I left. Please don't judge. I estimated based on the three people in front of me that it would be approximately 3.5 minutes for each person. I really wanted their sugar cookie, but I didn't feel like waiting. I knew JJ's would be much shorter. JJ's took 11 seconds. No joke. In those 11 seconds, I also learned that all the JJ's in the Charlotte area are owned by the same person. It has been a while since I have visited a Jimmy John's location. I was headed to another restaurant and came across the back side of this location. I entered the drive-through​ and after a very short wait, had my sandwich and chips in hand. I enjoy the #12 Beach Club with turkey, avocado, provolone, cucumber, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. It surely hit the spot this week. I purchased the Gigantic size (first time) in hopes of saving some for later meals. I made it to two meals and that was okay with me. The sandwich is deliciousness! I called this Jimmy John's trying to place a delivery order, however I was out of their zone, and they couldn't drive to me. However, the employee on the phone offered me a free cookie with my order because I'd have to come pick it up. He didn't have to do that at all, it was a sweet gesture. I obviously don't want him to get reprimanded for giving away something free, I encourage people to do special things that lead to repeat business. Thanks cookie guy:) Random note; this place is clean, and I don't know how they did it. Before, it was Liquid Records which was a concert spot, then record store, then smoke shop. It was grimy, smoky, and probably had black mold in every nook and cranny. They must have gutted the place with haz-mat suits on. I called to order 40 boxed lunches for the University of Toledo baseball team while we were playing a doubleheader at Davidson College. No sandwich places in the area would deliver to us as the field but when I call this Jimmy John's they came through more than we could have asked. While we were technically out of their district for delivery, their manager made an exception to help us out. On top of this, they even through in 40 bottles of water free of charge and delivered them in two buckets filled with ice. The sandwiches are made fresh to order, toppings like lettuce, tomato, onion are free. My favorite is the turkey Tom that's turkey and provolone cheese. There is an 8" sub for less than $5 or a smaller slim size sub for about $3.75 this one does not include toppings. This location has a drive through and your order is ready super fast! Ordered online, due to work I was unable to pick up right away so I called and asked for it to be put in a fridge till I could get it. When I got there about 2 hrs later it was up by the counter, I asked if it had been out the entire time, was told they put them in the fridge for a short time because the bread gets hard. apparently the individual behind the counter noticed my concern.
