Clean and well-lot, friendly staff, fresh ingredients, and consistently tasty sandwiches. JJ represents freshness and quality, no matter the franchise or location; today was no exception.

Awesome! I informed them I had an allergy to Avocado -they prepared on a cutting board / sheet that was new. I was impressed.long line but service was super efficient and quick. Seating was very clean. Being winter, I was even shocked how clean the floors were given how much foot traffic was going they here. Will be back!

I'm currently in Jimmys Johns's in Boston and I'm content. I had their ham and cheese sandwich and it was $4.75 but it was big enough to split with someone so it was lowkey worth it. All the food looked good, nothing very special but does the job. They play pretty good jams and have funny signs all around the restaurant which are cool, so yeah give it a try. Ps: my friend told me to add that the pickles were SUPER.

Recently I spent 4 nights in Boston. I came to this jimmy johns everyday for lunch! Located on D street right across from the lawn on D you will find this jimmy johns. I prefer jimmy johns over subway any day! Jimmy johns is the closest thing to a traditional Ny deli that I can find In most cities. First off. The smell of the fresh baked bread is amazing!! Every day I ordered the same thing I ordered the JJ BLT lettuce wrap. And it was amazing every time. I try not to eat bread. This is the perfect lunch! It tasted fresh and it was consistent every day I ordered the BLT. The staff was very nice and accommodating even when I had a order for 8 people and they all had different sandwiches and requests. The staff ended up getting to know me a bit. The one girl. Knew the menu by heart dident have to look up anything. I was impressed. The store may not be the biggest JJ but they have bar style seating and tables inside. Overall. It's refreshing to have a JJ in this area. The lettuce BLT was consistent. The staff was nice. I will be back here next time I'm in town!

I threw out half of my spicy chicken wrap, that says a lot. It was my first time buying at Jimmy Johns and definitely the last.

But I'm actually writing about the company's website and phone recording. Once, on a prior holiday, and today due to a winter storm, I wasn't sure if the restaurant was open. In both cases (where the restaurant turned out to be closed), the website (appropriately) didn't allow online orders, and (more importantly) THE OUTGOING PHONE RECORDING WAS UPDATED WITH CURRENT INFORMATION. In an era where businesses barely have phone numbers to call, or employees who answer with something other than 'hello', is rare (and by the way, this is the fault of management if they don't properly train their staff). THANK YOU FOR HAVING YOUR SHIT TOGETHER IN COMMUNICATING YOUR HOURS TO THE PUBLIC. I, for one, appreciate it.

Sam LaGrassa's is a Boston legend that's lost its way…read more As a local, I used to defend Sam LaGrassa's to anyone who called it a tourist gimmick. It was the gold standard for a real sandwich in the city. Sadly, the magic has faded. Between the soaring prices and the shrinking portions, the value just isn't there anymore. You can taste the "corner-cutting"--the flavors aren't as bold as they used to be, and the sandwiches feel noticeably smaller even though the cost has increased exponentially - I mean $30 for a sammy?! It should have gold in it! Even then, I'd keep coming once in awhile if the service was worth it. but honestly - the staff seems burnt out even bright early in the morning. It's hard to justify the premium price for a shadow of what this place used to be.

I ordered a chicken salad on a croissant with pickles, onions, and lettuce and it was really good. The best part is you can pretty much build whatever sandwich you want- breakfast or lunch. They've also got plenty of drinks, chips, and treats to choose from. Service is crazy fast too. They had my order ready in no time. There's a small bar setup with a few stools and a couple of tiny tables, so you can sit and eat quickly, but I wouldn't rely on getting a seat if it's busy or if you're with a group. My custom sandwich was $10, which felt reasonable. They've been around for 32 years, which says a lot. Definitely one of those local spots worth supporting. I'll 100% be back. Highly recommend.

I still can't believe that I only just found out about the place despite frequenting the downtown area and working close by for nearly a decade. They're quick counter service and serve a few simple items for breakfast and lunch, mostly sandwiches. So far I've had the pastrami egg sub and the yahoo sandwich. They're both good, but I'd have to say the yahoo is the winner so far as far as the sandwiches go. You can order online, which is a big plus for me and it's very easy to customize items through the online ordering portal. I also happen to really like their iced coffee, too. It's nice to see that there are still simple, no frills spots that execute good tasing food at a reasonable price, and Archie's is definitely one of those spots.

The people working there are super helpful and so friendly. They show extreme patience with questions and offer suggestions. The ambience is typical of an old pizza place. I loved it.
