This used to be a 5 star review but I'm dropping it to a one star review due to just paying $15 for a sandwich that looks like this (2 small shredded pieces of turkey) and rude service. Next to it is a photo of my sandwich from my former 5 star review. When I addressed it with a young man who was working the the window, he asked me if I wanted him to remake it, I said yes. He handed me the second sandwich and said "here you go. I made it exactly the same way as the first one." so instead of just adding a few more whole pieces of meat, this guy went and made the exact same sandwich with meat, cheese and bread, and threw the original sandwich away. What a waste! We stop here every trip we take on I-35. We won't be anymore. Thanks for the service, Andrew. Yes, your name is on my receipt. read more

Broken drive through speaker that had been broken for a long time per the employee taking orders. Long hair employees (mid back length) with no hair nets. Employee's handling money and preparing food without washing hands. Equipment with grease build up and generally a dirty kitchen. Hoped this place had improved in the 6 months since our last visit. Unfortunately it's gone further downhill. I'd avoid this obviously mismanaged location. Looks like absentee owners who don't care enough to keep it clean and enforce health regulations. I usually hit this Jimmy John's up on my way home from work. I have the app, and at times they'll send me a deal, like this week was 50% off a sub, so I ordered the Beach Club and only paid $3.55. YAY! Now that's what I call a deal! I love their bread, it's always soft and fresh. On the app I usually ask for extra onions and lettuce and I always get it. My other go-to is the Italian Club. I must say I have never had a bad sub here. It's always been good, fresh, and has exactly what I want. I walk in and it's usually ready - just pay and leave. They are always nice and professional here. Been consistently good here so that's why I keep coming back. Happy 2021!! read more

Stopped here on the way home from an event and we have had good experiences in the past with both the food and the service, in the drive thru. We went inside, place our order. The young lady who took our order wasn't present, are being told what the total was for what was supposed to be two combos, I paid and she hands me one cup (the last medium cup at the register). My husband said it was two combos, as he and I both told her we wanted combos with drinks and chips. I paid for the additional items and after waiting a couple minutes, for the additional cup, decided to just use the cups by the other register. How long does it take to get more cups?!? Our food comes out and there's no issue with it, thankfully. But the service is definitely declining and I'm not sure if we'll be returning to this location. read more

I ordered a beach club that comes with Turkey and Guacamole, I had a drop of Guac that I could barley find and no Turkey , when I asked about why there was no Turkey , he said what...I can give you a half piece of turkey since you already ate half of your sandwich, regarless if I paid for a whole piece....this place is a joke! If I could give this store zero stars, I would. The "acting" manager was the most unfriendly human we have ever encountered. We placed our order (the exact same oder we had in San Antonio) and it cost us 11.00 MORE ... two sandwiches cost just under 30.00. The females that were working refused to give his name ... I didn't see his name tag, but I'm sure corporate will fix their lack of customer service. When we complained about the price, the "acting" manager asked us to leave the store and never come back ... we sat outside and he threatened to call the police for trespassing!!! worst jimmy john's experience i've had. not the staff but the food was terrible i couldn't even get myself to finish it. it tasted like it's been sitting in a cooler all day and soggy. and jimmy john's is usually my go to place. also messed up my order. there was way too much lettuce and mayo and it just made my sandwich soggy. read more

I really like this Jimmy John's location. I eat here at least once every couple of weeks. They're usually pretty quick, accurate, and pretty friendly. They were out of certain ingredients for a couple of weeks but for what I ordered, it didn't negatively impact the overall flavor of the food. I'd for sure recommend. read more

I always stop at this JJ because I can get off/on I35 super easily. I use the app to order ahead, pop in to get my food, and I'm back on the road. The Jimmy John's app is awesome-super easy to use. I had ordered delivery a few days ago and it took almost an hour to get my sandwich from 2 miles away. That being said when I called the managers were present and apologetic. Due to the inconvenience they compensated me and I didn't thing any more of it till today. I ordered again today due to liking the sandwiches they make and the convenience of location to my work. Had the #9 and there was plenty of meat but the white bread was not good at all. Reminds me of the bread that is there but has no substance or body. Overall good sub, just a little more meatier bread / denser bread would have improved my rating. Would eat there again. read more

I placed a very large catering order to be picked up at 10:30 AM. When I arrive there at 10:30 I was told that they didn't know what kind of sandwiches to make so they hadn't even begun the order. I pointed at the receipt and showed the sandwiches were written right on it. He said he didn't have enough information to complete the order. I asked why he hadn't called me. He said the phones were out at the business. There were like six employees standing inside who I'm sure all had cell phones, they just didnt care. I asked him to just make a variety and he said it would take an hour. Definitely not "so fast I freaked." He hadn't even begun on the parts of the order he said he knew he could've done. I just moved here recently and Jimmy John's has always been a favorite of mine. I decided to order through the app (scheduled to pick it up for a later time, not ASAP) and I got a notification a little bit before I was supposed to pick it up, so I eagerly drove there to get my order (because I mean how would you not be excited for JJ's). The staff at the counter informed me my order wasn't ready yet and I explained I had gotten a notification that it was, and they said their system was wonky. I get it, what are you gonna do, ya know? I've worked in the fast food industry, things can get complicated. The guy at the counter apologized profusely and I said it was totally fine! I was fine with waiting. I've always loved the ambience inside of their restaurants anyways. Even though my order wasn't supposed to be ready yet, they still made it for me and handed it to me as soon as possible, even though their drive thru was pretty busy. The guy that had helped me at the counter handed it to me and was very nice, wish I had caught his name! Guy with the glasses and cool skull mask, thanks for being so nice and not annoyed I got there too early! Sorry my review was so long, I just love JJ's. The sandwich was assembled very quickly but nothing remarkable about the food other than that - I mean, I can get the same or better at HEB. If you have never been to a Jimmy John's, then I would recommend it if you enjoy having the staff stare at you and treat you like crap. When a customer says "My first time here" and asks for a to-go order, it might be considered good customer service to point out that it is self-service. In my case, I had to ask for napkins and a bag, and the clerk, who was less than arm's reach away from the stack, couldn't be bothered to hand them over from his side of the counter. Unprofessional employees. Slamming things down, and yelling. About half the employees were seen eating and chewing behind the counter. I'm sure they have a place for a break. This was my first and last time here. On the board under 8" sub sandwiches says all subs served with meat and cheese. When my turkey tom came out without cheese, I questioned them. The person taking our order was nothing short of a douche bag instead of being helpful when asked questions he just gave attitude. we assumed we were ordering meals but the guy didn't so we added that at the window of course the guy didn't seem ecstatic about that. They messed up our order not giving extras that were paid for and I'm pretty sure there was like a quarter of the contents of a can of coke in our drinks. I've tried this place twice now. The first time we got our sandwiches but they were sloppy and missing ingredients. Their avocado spread is not worth the extra charge especially when they don't add it to one sandwich and then when I called I was essentially called a liar and told to look between the cheese. Considering the fact that I had bitten into this sandwich, and the fact that I know what avocado tastes like. I came to the conclusion that mine had none on it, but according to the employee I spoke to, I just didn't know where to look. Absolutely horrific customer service. This time I made the order online and shortly after I received a call saying they were out of bread. ???? Really???? So for the last two hours you are open you can't serve sandwiches? This franchise really needs to invest in some customer service training and needs to do better at keeping bread available in a sandwich shop. Smh read more
