This place is just not very good for vegetarians. I had been told to try Jimmy John's because they are just so fast and the person recommending me said I would love it for the sprouts.
Apparently this location does not have sprouts. So that's pretty upsetting. I mean, I would understand if they had something else to supplement them lacking a pretty main ingredient, but they do not. So my sandwich consisted of mayo, lettuce, tomato, cheese. So plain, they even forgot the onion that I wanted added. I had to go up and get some, but I mean I should have to do that.
I didn't like how rushed I felt, I told the cashier that it was my first time in a Jimmy John's and he said that's ok. (As if I was apologizing.) And I told him that I had already looked a menu up, and I knew I'd be getting a veggie sandwich, so the lady behind the counter already starts putting mayonnaise on sub bread, and I asked him about the wheat bread, then she makes a face and puts the sub bread down, and grabs wheat bread. Well the wheat bread is not sub-like, it's more like a thick piece of regular bread from a bag you get at the grocer. It's like a piece of banana nut bread, haha. And I'm like if that's the same price, why would I not get the sub bread? So, she puts down the wheat and grabs the bread she had already starting putting mayo on, keep in mind, I haven't even pulled out my card. I mean, I haven't even ordered my drink yet! I get that they're focused on speed, but can you wait to start making my order until I've actually placed it, please? Since they were so focused on moving fast, they forgot to add the onions that I asked for at the end of ordering my sandwich. I mean, I'm sitting in. That 20 seconds to wait until I'm done ordering will surely not making me complain about wait time. Accuracy over speed, please.
The bread taste is the only thing winning this place any stars. I just did not like anything else. All in all, I will not be back to a Jimmy John's anywhere unless they have sprouts. read more
