Cannot customize sandwiches the manager said. We tried ordering a specific sandwich that they replaced with one on the menu, in which, was nothing like what we wanted. Tried going in the store to fix it but they instead stated that they cannot add certain toppings to specific sandwiches. Never had any problem such as this in WA. Glad we know never to come back to this JJ and tell others as well. What a sad sandwich. If you're a customizing person (which so many people have their sandwiches differently) then do not come here. Went through the drive thru... I knew I wanted a salami and cheese sandwich, but not the Italian way, I wanted a typical sub (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc.) Ordered and was informed they were giving me the Vito ‍ I explained what I wanted (that it wasn't a Vito type sandwich with oil/vinegar and oregano) and was told through the drive thru that that is the Vito that I want. Got the sandwich and it was literally just salami with lettuce. No big deal, I go inside and explain what I was looking for and wanted. I was then told they cannot customize any sandwich. You cannot add tomatoes to any sandwich and they can only give provolone cheese with a salami sandwich. Apparently they are not allowed to do ANY substitutions at all as they are "not allowed". So check the menu, what you see is going to hopefully be what you get. Every other JJ's I've been to across the country have allowed these changes EXCEPT this one. Ordered online. Went to pick up in store. They did not have my order ready when i got there. I asked girl making my sandwich if she saw the extras on there because they messed up before. She rudely replied yeah, I have the ticket right in front of me. Then I asked for two small sides of Caesar dressing. She did it and it was not full so I asked if she could fill it up a little more. Then she got an attitude and said we will have to start charging you for these. I said they have never charged me before and I even ordered the exact same thing the day before and had no issue. I said it doesn't show it costs on the website, because you can ask for extra dressing at no charge. She said it won't be on the website we charge you here. I rarely eat at Jj. This time I used the drive thru for my lunch order. I didn't remember that the sandwiches came with a pickle so ordered one in place of the chips in the box lunch. When the order was read back to me and mentioned pickles twice, I canceled the second and opted for the chips. The employee was clearly frustrated with this. I ordered the "unwich" aka lettuce wrap with turkey and provolone. The lettuce was wet and there was so much mayo it just became impossible to handle due to how slippery and slimey it was. Most JJ are pretty much the same (as chains usually are), but the people can make ALL the difference. The employees at this location are all smiles and ridiculously chipper. I ordered through the Yelp app and it was a very easy process. I got the Club LuLu and Jimmy's Jalepeno Chips because they are great. Always SCOOP OUT THE TOP BREAD, FTW! The delivery was quick, and the driver was very polite. The sandwich tastes great, and the jalepeno chips are always good! I don't usually get the cookies so I don't know how those taste. This location seems to think that triple tomato is 8 small slices . Like the guy making the sandwiches is also growing and paying for , the tomatoes . So I guess double tomato is 4 slices and regular tomato is 2 slices ? Really ? On a 10" sandwich ? They aren't really friendly here either , guy hands me the food while other guy still has my credit card and has moved on to taking the next order while I'm just staring at his back , waiting for him to look up , so I can ask for my credit card back .
