I first tried Firehouse fare via my Pops. He brought home a New York Steamer....and I was hooked (Ha!) The steamer is a hot sub with corned beef brisket and pastrami, provolone cheese, and sauces. You can customize the type of bread, size of the sandwich, and fixings. I think it's "Single Girl Friendly" as I get the large and make two meals out of it. It reheats just as delicious as fresh made. There may be other sandwich shops and/or sandwiches out there that are equally delish, but I visit Firehouse versus the other shops due to app. It is SUPER easy to order and pay for a delish sandwich. You earn points for each order on the app. I haven't used my points yet. I imagine it will be just as easy, but will update if it's merited. Picked up a late dinner from Firehouse Subs on my way home from work. Service was quick and friendly. $25+ is a little expensive for 2 medium sandwiches, 1 bag of chips and 1 medium drink. The Minute Maid lemonade was out of service on the drink dispenser. And, they forgot the pickle spear. read more

We love their food. We tried to order online because of a promotion going on on 7/11/26. The store closes at 9 and at 8 pm we tried to place our order and the website refused to take our order. The store even said they can not honor the promotion from online. That really sucks. read more

This is a pretty solid firehouse in my area. Everyone who works here is so pleasant. You get greeted as soon as you walk in the door. The food is always fresh. You can order ahead and pickup at the counter which is what I normally do and it's super easy without any issues. They have a full parking lot so it's easy to get in and out. My husband has his favorite here but the only thing I ever order is the meatball sub; it is outstanding! The meatballs are super tender and not dense like most meatball subs. I've gotta not ordered food from here twice. 1st visit: Ordered a Steak n Cheese add mushroom. The only thing that was on it was steak, cheese and mushroom. No onion or peppers. 2nd visit: Ordered Steak n Cheese, Meatball, Salad and chicken & Dumplings. Sandwiches were good Soup was literally just broth. Not even exaggerating. It was the end of the day so maybe I got the last bit but it was terrible. Salad I ordered with the intentions of taking it to lunch the next day - lettuce was bad by the next morning. I ordered it at 8pm the previous evening so it's not like it was that old. The lettuce should of not gone bad overnight. read more

This is a newly opened sandwich shop and we decided to give it a try. So glad we did! The decor is like a firehouse and the tables are red with a Dalmatian white with black spots top! So cute! Everyone was very friendly. We went at an odd time so there wasn't a line. I love how you can get a small, medium or large sub. I'm not a big eater so the small is perfect for me. Hubby got the medium size; you can compare them in my photos. Hubby got the hero and I got the turkey bacon ranch. They have the usual chips and pickle. What makes these subs outstanding is they come warm with a toasted bun so the cheese is melted! Yummy! The price is very reasonable too. The food is some of the best around. However, it gets annoying being ask would you like to round up to donate. Because, 1)their prices are high enough, 2) I have been rounded up 92 cents. I always donate, but maybe they should lower their prices. And, though I like their sandwiches, I am always reminded why I end up going to the other sandwhich places instead. read more

I have to admit that I truly love this place! I'm not a huge sandwich fan to begin with, but I love that Firehouse always has warm deli meat on a lightly toasted French bread. The condiments and vegetables are nice and crisp, but the meat is always warm and juicy. The bread holds up perfectly but it's not overly crusty and it's only served with a pickle spear that just hits the spot. They also give back to our local community by providing millions of dollars in donations annually to our local fire houses. What a great way to have lunch and put back into the community. read more

I've always loved firehouse subs but since the Collinsville location has opened I've been disappointed. The employees all seem more interested in being loud and socializing than making the sub shop a welcoming experience for customers. I almost feel like I'm ruining their social hour when I walk in, now I refuse to eat inside. I always get the club on a sub, comes with bacon... the picture shows the "bacon" I got on my sandwich. Also asked for extra mustard and received none. I'll just go to the Fairview location I guess. read more

Excellent sandwich spot. I love the oven baked sandwiches and the hot sauce collection with spiciness labeled for customers to use as they like. Clean restaurant , friendly employees . Firehouse is one of my go to places. This new location is right near my house. The staff here is friendly and doesn't rush you even if they are busy. I like all of their toasty subs so I can't recommend just one. If you're tired of the boring subs from from Subway you should give Firehouse a try. You will love it and this new location. read more
