Consistently delicious. Locally owned. Best fries and iced tea in Belleville. Greek Salad is on point. The dressing is homemade. Fantastic gyros. read more

Best gyro sandwich I've ever had! Also had the cream cheese jalapeño poppers and they were amazing! The owner was working and was friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend checking them out. read more

I've had their Gyro's and they were pretty delicious! Decided to try the Polish sausage and regret even thinking about it. They were so over cooked that I felt like I was chewing nothing but gristle. Dry and surprisingly very small. Looked hotdog size after being nuked for 5 minutes. Onion rings were cold. The only redeeming quality about this order were the fries. They gave me an extra order I'm assuming to make up for the quality of the rest. Stick to the Gyros and you'll do great. read more

food is always consistently excellent! my favorite is a gyro and one of their large salads read more

There's just too much to say, so I'll hit the mains. A LOT for a little ! Damn delicious! Perfect service ! Great people ! read more

Ordered chicken gyro twice but received lamb both times. Food I ATE was really good but accuracy is horrible! read more

Absolutely love this place! Eat here every week! Never had a bad menu item. Don't let the name fool you, the menu is robust! Of course the Gyros are amazing, but the chili dogs are top notch, and the Italian beef is one of the best I've ever had (better than my homemade). Owner is always friendly. Listen, if it wasn't good food and great service...I wouldn't go back every week! read more

Tried the Single Cheeseburger. Frozen patty, bun was soft and lightly toasted. Toppings were red onion, pickle, mustard and ketchup. Nothing really impressive. read more

Super Gyros - Single Cheeseburger - Fast Food Near Me - Belleville, Illinois

I moved here 6 years ago and day one I came to Super Gyros to get a Gyro and it was by far the worst Gyro I ever ate. Skip to present day about a month ago I went to SG to get a Greek Salad which is mediocre at best. Then a week ago I tried a burger and fries it was great. So today I decided to give them another shot at the Gyro since it is there in the name, but it is AWFUL just like the first time and to make matters worse the meat is thick and greasy, no lettuce hardly any onions or tomatoes tzatziki sauce is not even noticeable and I had to pay extra for feta since the Gyro didn't come with it. So I paid $8.25 for an awful Gyro that this owner should be ashamed of. I'm not sure this place is worth giving business when they don't strive to make their Gyros worth buying. Maybe they should go to Lilly's in Fairview Hgts and learn how to make a really Gyro and satisfy their customers. read more

They have a drive thru! It's a small family owned business. The owner and his family are amazing and the food is fantastic! The place is called Super Gyros but that doesn't mean the other items they make aren't just as good. I've been multiple times. It's an easy go-to restaurant with simple affordable delicious food with fresh ingredients. I've tried the Gyro BBQ Gyro Chicken Philly/Gyro Philly Steak(Love it) Chicago Dog Burger (Fresh and Tasty) Fries (Lightly salted, Fresh fried) If your looking for a go-to check this place out and don't skip out on the dessert ! (Baklava,Ice-cream) Please I urge you go try it read more

Great little Mom and Pop duo running this place. As a life long Chicagoan transplanted here in STL this is pretty close to authentic. Sausage needs more spice and fries are not fresh cut but pizza puff, beef and Gyros are spot on. Service is excellent always. I eat in usually and very clean except for the family toys which are understandable. read more

First time at Super Gyro. The gyro plate was very good and all items were fresh. The salad with chicken was very good as well. Received enough gyro meat that I was able to make dinner and lunch the next day from it. Will be adding this restaurant to my list of places to eat. read more

From the gyros to the baklava this is the real deal. Their greek salad is delicious, the fries are hot and fresh, coney dog is to die for. The owners are so friendly and helpful. Don't miss this gem! read more

Super owners, super service, super food, SUPER GYRO! The best! Don't miss out on the best gyros, Italian combo , and double cheese burger. The French fries are also spectacular! read more

This place is amazing soooo good I am not from the area and was just looking to grab a quick bite to eat. I hadn't had a gyro in a long time. I'm soooo glad I went here. When I'm in town again I will definitely go back Classic Gyro read more

Super Gyro is quite super! I enjoyed my tasty gyro lunch with an order of cheese fries. The pita was packed full of delicious meat. I asked for sauce on the side so I could manage the sauce to gyro ratio. The cheese fries were great! There are so many choices at Super Gyro. I look forward to returning and trying the Italian beef sandwich. read more

Great place! The owner/operator is a great guy and excellent cook. The gyros are very good. I'm not a fan of the Chicago dogs because they aren't supposed to be grilled! But the pizza puffs make up for it. And his prices are excellent. read more

Thank you for giving my food a good vibe and making it DELICIOUS. You have the best tahini sauce, very fresh. I recommend!!!! I wish I could have taken a better picture but I was demolishing this. read more

Super Gyros - Single Gyro - Fast Food Near Me - Belleville, Illinois

Ordered some food off the website and GrubHub was supposed to deliver. The GrubHub driver was super late in delivering, never did show up, and we found out later that they screwed up our order and never told us that it wasn't coming in. We called the restaurant to find out and apparently GrubHub gave it to another house. The restaurant actually remade our food and didn't charge us for it, I thought that was actually rather nice of them. read more

Maybe the single greatest gyro place in the history of gyro restaurants. The gyro burger is an absolute masterpiece that should have stories told about its greatness for years to come. No complaints about this place, ever. read more

We love this place. The staff is lovely, the food is always great. We have never been disappointed. It is a lot of food, made when you order so always hot, fresh and well packaged for travel. We usually get take out but the three times we have been inside the dining area has been nearly spotless. This is one of the few places I don't mind the public restroom. read more

The owner here is downright aggressive. He called me names for trying to redeem a coupon I got off his website after accusing me of scamming him lol. Trust me, avoid this guy and his food which is somehow greasy and dry fifty percent of the time. read more

Has a fake rewards program when you order online. If you try to redeem your points, the owner will not make your food and then yell at you when you try to pick up your food. Apparently the only reasonable explanation to him was that I hacked the website to give myself a $10 off coupon. Food is fine, nothing special. Used to be a good deal but they recently raised the prices so it's really not worth going to at all anymore. Go to the Taco Bell next door or the McDonalds down the block for same quality food for a better price and friendlier, more reliable service. read more

Service arrived before I was expecting! The food was awesome, it was delivered as a build your own which I appreciate! Great service, damn good food and fairly priced. You can't ask for better. read more

This place has the best tasting gyro. They deliver which is cool. I only go through the drive-thru because the last time the tables were dirty and sticky.... But then again the interior space is closed due to covid at this time, so I guess it doesn't matter. read more

Then here multiple times and the food is always delicious. The drive through wait time is very reasonable as are the prices. The baklava and gyro burger are the best. read more

Really good double gyro platter enough for more than two meals. Chicken sandwich was okay. Nice folks great prices. Easy order through Yelp

Sammy who is the proprietor of this restaurant makes some great food. His Italian beefs are made to perfection. His Gyros are delicious! Every other thing he makes is great. He also is perfection at making Chicago hotdogs. Me being from Chicago a native born Chicagoan and I know what a good Chicago hot dog tastes like and he has hit the mark with this food. So if you want to taste of Chicago hot dog go to Super Gyros on Carlyle in Belleville. Also Sammy makes some delicious Greek baklava that will melt in your mouth. Tell him *JUDI * sent you when you go to his great restaurant that has drive-through. Enjoy!!! read more

What can I say!!!! They are by far the best restaurant to go to and come out pleased. The food excellent, service excellent and ambiance is nice. I wish it was bigger. It is always with the wait if you have to wait. read more

Delicious food for great prices! We were so excited to see a gyro place when we moved to the area a few months ago, and when we finally had a chance to try it we were not disappointed. Everything I tried was really good but I have to single out the baklava as especially spectacular -- definitely something I'm getting again! read more

I walked in around 2pm to find the place deserted. There were exactly two people working, one in the kitchen and another sitting off to the side behind the counter, staring at his phone and ignoring me. I stood there for a minute, staring at the menu, in plain sight of both workers, but no one bothered to even say hi, so I turned right around and left. Stay classy, Belleville. read more

Small family run business. I've had the gyros several times and have found them to be just flowers after. The owners are friendly and more than willing to help you choose an item from their menu. read more

Second time here. I have enjoyed everything I have tried. Really enjoy the gyros. Good quality meat. The poppers are delicious too. Today I got the gyro burger. Nice size for the price. I love their fries! The combos are a pretty decent value. The Italian combo is also huge and delicious. Definitely worth a try! I love that they have dine in, carry out, drive through, AND delivery! Great for food on the go or in a pinch. I can't wait to try a hot dog next time! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the mood. read more

Tried this place out finally after passing it multiple times on the highway. I was really craving a good gyro one day and boy, let me tell you....they are very friendly, patient with newbs like myself trying to read the menu board for the first time and you're already at the speaker. Great food, and good portions. I will be back to try to the Gyro Plate one day soon. Love the flavor of the meat and the quality of the tiziki sauce at this location. Give them a try! read more

Don't waste your time! I stopped in the drive through to pick up a triple gyro plate order for my son. The menu had the price listed as 18.99. They charged 24.65. When I went inside to report what I thought was a simple mistake, I discovered the interior was dirty enough that I would NEVER eat there myself. When I talked to the lady at the counter about the price difference she said they changed it but NOT the board (False advertising much?). So I took the food to my son 6 blocks away and when we looked at it not only was the portion totally not worth 18.99, the food was cold and gross. Unless you like food poisoning, AVOID THIS PLACE!!! read more

Stopped here before a work event to grab a quick bite. I got the single gyro meal...gyro, fries and a drink. It was reasonably priced right around $8. The gyro was great (it's huge) and the staff was friendly (had a family owned quality), but the restaurant is very outdated and could use a major facelift. Despite its appearance...my lunch was very tasty and I would definitely be back again! read more

Super Gyros - Fast Food Near Me - Belleville, Illinois

Just wanted to share my experience with you all.. we ordered Super Gyros tonight for delivery through GrubHub. We have multiple times and the food was always delicious. Well, after an hour and a half, I called the store to see where my delivery was and he said it was delivered. I assured him it wasn't and that I was sitting by the door and waiting for it. I have a crazy dog who tries to run out when someone rings the doorbell or we get packages (this started when I had my first son so I think it's his protector instincts) so I always ask for no-contact delivery. Well, when I called to ask about my order, i was SHOCKED at how rude the owner was. He told me that my order WAS delivered and I let him know it must have been the wrong house. He told me it was my own fault for saying to leave it on the porch. He yelled over me for about 2 minutes until he hung up on me. I am appalled and how badly I was treated, so I'm guessing he knows it was their fault and was being extra defensive. Needless to say, I'll NEVER order from there again and I feel it's important to support people in our community that deserve the support. GrubHub was great and has refunded me immediately, but I am so so so frustrated with Super Gyros. read more
