I've had their Gyro's and they were pretty delicious! Decided to try the Polish sausage and regret even thinking about it. They were so over cooked that I felt like I was chewing nothing but gristle. Dry and surprisingly very small. Looked hotdog size after being nuked for 5 minutes. Onion rings were cold. The only redeeming quality about this order were the fries. They gave me an extra order I'm assuming to make up for the quality of the rest. Stick to the Gyros and you'll do great. read more

I moved here 6 years ago and day one I came to Super Gyros to get a Gyro and it was by far the worst Gyro I ever ate. Skip to present day about a month ago I went to SG to get a Greek Salad which is mediocre at best. Then a week ago I tried a burger and fries it was great. So today I decided to give them another shot at the Gyro since it is there in the name, but it is AWFUL just like the first time and to make matters worse the meat is thick and greasy, no lettuce hardly any onions or tomatoes tzatziki sauce is not even noticeable and I had to pay extra for feta since the Gyro didn't come with it. So I paid $8.25 for an awful Gyro that this owner should be ashamed of. I'm not sure this place is worth giving business when they don't strive to make their Gyros worth buying. Maybe they should go to Lilly's in Fairview Hgts and learn how to make a really Gyro and satisfy their customers. read more

Ordered some food off the website and GrubHub was supposed to deliver. The GrubHub driver was super late in delivering, never did show up, and we found out later that they screwed up our order and never told us that it wasn't coming in. We called the restaurant to find out and apparently GrubHub gave it to another house. The restaurant actually remade our food and didn't charge us for it, I thought that was actually rather nice of them. read more

We love this place. The staff is lovely, the food is always great. We have never been disappointed. It is a lot of food, made when you order so always hot, fresh and well packaged for travel. Has a fake rewards program when you order online. If you try to redeem your points, the owner will not make your food and then yell at you when you try to pick up your food. Apparently the only reasonable explanation to him was that I hacked the website to give myself a $10 off coupon. Food is fine, nothing special. Sammy who is the proprietor of this restaurant makes some great food. His Italian beefs are made to perfection. His Gyros are delicious! Every other thing he makes is great. He also is perfection at making Chicago hotdogs. Me being from Chicago a native born Chicagoan and I know what a good Chicago hot dog tastes like and he has hit the mark with this food. Second time here. I have enjoyed everything I have tried. Really enjoy the gyros. Good quality meat. The poppers are delicious too. Today I got the gyro burger. Nice size for the price. I love their fries! The combos are a pretty decent value. The Italian combo is also huge and delicious. Definitely worth a try! I love that they have dine in, carry out, drive through, AND delivery! Don't waste your time! I stopped in the drive through to pick up a triple gyro plate order for my son. The menu had the price listed as 18.99. They charged 24.65. When I went inside to report what I thought was a simple mistake, I discovered the interior was dirty enough that I would NEVER eat there myself. When I talked to the lady at the counter about the price difference she said they changed it but NOT the board (False advertising much?). So I took the food to my son 6 blocks away and when we looked at it not only was the portion totally not worth 18.99, the food was cold and gross. Just wanted to share my experience with you all.. we ordered Super Gyros tonight for delivery through GrubHub. We have multiple times and the food was always delicious. Well, after an hour and a half, I called the store to see where my delivery was and he said it was delivered. I assured him it wasn't and that I was sitting by the door and waiting for it. I have a crazy dog who tries to run out when someone rings the doorbell or we get packages (this started when I had my first son so I think it's his protector instincts) so I always ask for no-contact delivery. Well, when I called to ask about my order, i was SHOCKED at how rude the owner was. He told me that my order WAS delivered and I let him know it must have been the wrong house. He told me it was my own fault for saying to leave it on the porch. He yelled over me for about 2 minutes until he hung up on me. I am appalled and how badly I was treated, so I'm guessing he knows it was their fault and was being extra defensive. Needless to say, I'll NEVER order from there again and I feel it's important to support people in our community that deserve the support. GrubHub was great and has refunded me immediately, but I am so so so frustrated with Super Gyros. read more

The gyro was great (it's huge) and the staff was friendly (had a family owned quality), but the restaurant is very outdated and could use a major facelift.
