Front door to the greatest pizza joint in southern Illinois!

I grew up with Alfonzo's and let me tell you, nothing compares! It's amazing! Best local pizza in the Collinsville, Troy, Edwardsville area! I'm so thankful they made it through the C***d stuff cuz they are spectacular! If you're ever in the southern Illinois area, visit Troy IL and it's located on HWY 162!

Ok. I live close and there are always a lot of cars here. I ordered a large pizza extra sauce, extra cheese one topping and 5 wings. Seemed high $46.00. Pizza was huge lots of cheese hardly any sauce. To be fair extra sauce wasn't listed but I ordered it. Crust was done but soft and doughy but not real thick but not real thin. Not my jam but chewy not tough. Sauce I had was just ok cheese acceptable. Wings were tasty but pretty dried up. I got it to go and served taking my order was a bit rude so no tip. I would say if you want an extra large pizza and aren't picky I'd try this place.

I have been coming here for years and I always have a great experience. The servers are incredibly friendly! It's a family owned business and the owners really care about their customers. Food is amazing every time too! The pizza recipe is so different from other places and truly my favorite. I always recommend the Alfonzo bites as an appetizer also! Parking is easy with a huge lot. They are usually pretty busy but service is quick! They also offer a room for parties/events.

Our family had dinner here for the first time tonight and this place did not disappoint! The service was impecable right from the start when we got inside to the very end. The employees went above and beyond and catered to everything we wanted/needed. Our server, Ben, was exceptionally great and a great conversationalist. Food was great too! We ordered the chicken wings, garlic bread with cheese, and toasted ravs for appetizers for all of us to share and we all loved each of them. I personally had their fettucine with chicken that came with salad and garlic bread and it was good. Everyone else also loved what they ordered. Even my daughter loved their kids meal spaghetti! Will definitely come back to try out their other dishes.

The pizza was mediocre at best and was WAY over priced. Most chains have better tasting pizza for much less.

I ordered online and picked up my order to-go. The good news is the wings were ready quickly and also super crispy which is always pleasant and what you want out of a wing. The slightly bad news is the wings are *very* lightly sauced. There was an option to pay an extra 0.50 for extra sauce, but I decided to see what their baseline was since it was my first time ordering. In the future, if you like a sauced wing at all, I would pay the extra. I got the buffalo (one flame symbol) and the Nashville Hot (three flame symbols) which I felt was accurate. The buffalo was not really hot at all, just the buffalo-flavored sauce and the Nashville Hot was warm enough to leave your lips a little tingly, but not so hot that you couldn't enjoy the flavor. My interaction with the staff was brief but pleasant. I would love to come back and try their loaded fries which look delicious, but didn't trust I could get them home before they got cold and soggy. So next time I'm there for dine-in, I'll give those a try. If you're a wing snob, it's worth a visit!

We were greeted by a lovely young lady working the register who took our order and we sat down at our assigned table. We were quickly served our drinks and waited for our overly large order (we wanted to try lots of things). The ribs were delicious. Just enough smoke (this is not Texas BBQ) and so juicy. My husband's pulled pork was very good and thankfully did not come sauced already. The turkey very moist and tender and flavorful. Yum. The burnt ends were a little dry, but can be forgiven because it was near the end of the night. We were checked on frequently, drinks refilled. Then we had the opportunity to meet Susan, the owner. If you don't know Susan was a competition BBQ'r for many years before opening her restaurant with her husband and you can see all her trophies and ribbons in the room She graciously bought us some bread pudding and gave me a little secret about it! This review covers my last 2 visits to the Troy Domino's. A couple of weeks ago we had family members over and ordered several pizzas for delivery. After a hour and a half we called for an update. We were told the driver was in the bathroom and would deliver it as soon as he was out. Seriously, that is what I was told. Today's order was online. The app said 35-45 minutes. Fine. I placed the order for pickup. Drove there at the 35 minute mark. I walked in to check the board it said 30 more minutes. Long story short. After 30 more minutes I was told it would be another 45 to 60 minutes. The manager and I had a "discussion" they moved my order up to go in next. 10 minutes later I went back in to get the pizzas and I was told they were out of green peppers and my Philly steak and cheese only had steak, onions, cheese and mushrooms. Not quite what I wanted. So in an attempt to make it better they offered me a free soda. I declined. If you are in a hurry for a pizza, I'd look somewhere else.

When I saw they had hot honey and pepperoni paired together on a 8" pizza, I instantly knew that was one of my choices. The fresh mozzarella and ricotta cheeses paired with the hot honey and pepperoni exploded with flavor. My only disappointment was the inner crust. The outer rim crust was very crispy, but the inner was soft and limp due to the excessive grease from the flavorful pepperoni. I guess that is something I just need to deal with for a tasty lunch pizza. My other choice was, the Apple Gorgonzola Salad. Wow. Double Wow! This has to be the best salad I have ever had. It was a delightful mix of, spinach, granny smith apple, gorgonzola, sun-dried cranberries, candied pecans, all topped with a delicious maple cider vinaigrette. I will be back for the large version and a glass of Pino Grigio as a dinner. As my usual, I sat at the bar. My adult beverage of choice, was a Peel Summer Lager. I may be going back to fill my growler, for the upcoming holiday weekend. The restaurant has a contemporary feel, but the acoustics make it a loud environment. I didn't mind the laughter and loud conversations, it was the yelling and crying toddlers that made me cringe. Service was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed watching the bartenders use their mixologist skills preparing all the cocktails. It pleased me to see they offer "hooks under the bar". That's a small detail that makes me smile.
