I love a good local establishment. The location is cute, and there was a decent amount of street parking available on a Saturday night. I ordered a large pepperoni and a full-size Gia's salad to go. The pizza was a generous size and tasted great, although it stuck to the pizza box and got soggy pretty quickly. There was also a mixup where the kitchen thought the salad was a small/side order, but the young woman getting the order for me noticed the error and had them fix it. The salad was very good with lots of toppings, although the sweet Italian dressing I selected ended up being too sweet for my palate. Vibe inside was very easy-going. If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd be happy to bring my family here for dinner. read more

Like Gia's. Nice little place in downtown O'Fallon, simple pizza place vibe inside, thin crust pizza solid. Beer choices not extensive but ok (thank you for offering beyond the AB stuff, the world is over it!) Online access a bit of a challenge. No url on Yelp, menu incomplete. Found their website (outside Yelp) and it's pretty elementary. Cannot access a menu unless you go thru pages for ordering online. As a pizza place I imagine they do decent carry out and delivery volume- recommend they put a little money into their online presence as I believe it should pay for itself. There is a nice brand here, but you'd never know it on the internet.. read more

A good thin crust pizza with a healthy amount of fresh toppings. Friendly service and a nice vibe.

I came in at noon on Sunday and there was one other table but it was otherwise totally empty. 1 manager and 2 servers were working and were more concerned with talking to each other than their customers. I was never greeted nor was my order taken. I sat there for 10 minutes, being ignored, before I got up and left. read more

We've given this place three chances. The first visit was great, but the last two have been disappointing. On our second attempt, we couldn't even place a carryout order. The third time, we used their online ordering system and placed an order at 12:30 PM on a Friday for a 5:30 PM pickup. When we arrived, they had completely forgotten our order also note I called after I placed my order to make sure we were good to go and which I was told they received it and added the note for the sauce on the side. After finally receiving it, we took it home only to find that it was poorly prepared--cheese barely melted, as if they rushed to fix their mistake, and the toasted ravioli was overcooked. Frustrated, we decided to return the food, get a refund, and head to PaPPo's instead, where we had a much better experience. Unfortunately, we won't be giving this place another try. I wish we could recommend it, but based on our experiences, we just can't. Hopefully, others have better luck. read more

Delicious and good quality! Between Gia's and Peel, O'Fallon has some great pizza options! We've tried several of their pizzas and their toasted ravioli and everything was fantastic. read more

We love Gia's! You really can't go wrong with any of their pizzas, they're all delicious. I love the buffalo chicken!

Absolutely love the pizza and baked wings at Gias. If you are looking for a local pizza joint with amazing food you need to stop by this place. read more

They are rude if ordering by phone and they are worse if at a table inside. The so called waitress Luna says the customer must have situational awareness. If they cannot handle the work load and the manager is not aware of the situation they can bet more customers will never come there again. It's just a pizza dinner with only fair pizza and lousy wings. Rather have Dominos, Pizza Hut, Papa John's and Little Caesar's not mention Peel's. read more

First of all I was on a hot date. We'll call her LL to make the story flow. LL said let's got to Gia's, I said sure because I would enjoy any meal if seated across from LL she's hot, funny & down to earth. I technically shouldn't have even noticed the food because I was laser focused on my date. In a new relationship you're asking questions that you never asked before and learning new information at a break back pace. You have to stay mentally focused! Everything was great, I can remember every word she said and how she said them, then my sandwich came out... This is where me being a sweet attentive, great listener fell apart. The bread on this sandwich tasted as if it was made by Angels or some sort of bread sorcerer. The bread was soft yet flaky, buttery yet salty, cheesy, fluffy, delicious. The date with whatshername ended well and I believe that we could have a bright future together. However, the real love story is me and that moth@r f#cking buffalo chicken sandwich! I would highly advise Gia's and their Buffalo Chicken Sandwich to any of the following situations. -First date (if she's not the right gal who cares, you got that sandwich & you'll forget anything she said -Foodies (I never understood the phrase food porn before but now I get it. That sandwich legitimately made sweet love to my taste buds) -That friend or coworker that wants to tell every problem in their life (Once you start licking and caressing that sandwich I mean eating the sandwich you'll forget al about them) ***Do not take a gal that you really like & just started dating because there will be gaps in your memory and you'll seem like one of those "you never listen to me" types of guys. Lastly, before we left the restaurant I was tempted to go into the kitchen and kiss the sandwich wizard on the lips. Luckily whatshername held me back. read more

Update: Since our first trip to Gia's we've been back several times. The food quality has gotten a lot better since they first opened. I definitely recommend this hometown pizza joint. We eat there about once a month or every other month. Original: Gia's is somewhere between a hometown pizza joint and a hipster place. Overall it was pretty average. The food was ok. I had a supreme pizza. Some of the ingredients, like the green peppers, were huge. I they'd been chopped a little more. My wife ordered the cheese bread. It was basically a cheese pizza with no sauce. We were expecting a little more garlic flavor. We had ranch to dip it in -- it was from a bottle. Despite ordering a couple small thin crust pizzas, it took about 30-45 min to get our food. Pretty long considering the place wasn't horribly busy. The service was good though. Overall, it was average. Not a place we'll be counting the days to go to ag read more

Our group all ordered the lunch specials, some with pizza and some with sandwiches. Side salads are pretty big with LOTS of bacon and pepperoni on it. I'm not a pork eater and wish I'd known. House dressing was sweet and yummy. Personal pizzas were well reviewed and looked good. I had half a Turkey sandwich and it was average. They were out of chips on the side with no substitute available, which was weird because that's a simple trip to the store. Bread was greasy and turkey/cheese weren't all the way hot and were kind of mid-warm. Soda was disgusting/flat/brix was off. If I went back I'd try pizza. Service was fine. read more

Gias is a solid thin crust pizza. They use a sweet sauce we don't care for so always ask for light sauce when do get pizza. Local joint we like to support and go couple times a year. Not great not bad with good service. read more

Great specialty pizzas. This last time we tried the Buffalo chicken and the lumberjack. Pricey for size. Service was good!

We absolutely loved their pizza, I can't wait to go back. We're thrilled to have found a new favorite since we moved here from St Charles!

2nd time here. Girl was rude on the phone. Toppings were minimal. Almost no mushrooms There was no sauce. Dominos has better pizza. Not worry 23 bucks. By any means read more

Pizza is ok, but the customer service is painfully slow; especially for a pizza joint. Moreover, we have ordered chicken wings from there twice and both times they have come out undercooked. Consider other options in town if able read more

I moved away from the Southern Illinois area several years ago, but when I lived there Gia's was one of my favorite pizza restaurants, due to the freshness of the vegetables on the pizza, the great thin crust and the generous amount of toppings placed on the pizza. I was in town for a short visit, so I decided to order Gia's due to the high quality of their pizza. Their pizza has always been a little pricey, but in my opinion the quality matched the price. Unfortunately, this was my first visit in over a year and the pizza did not have the same quality I experienced in the past. The pizza I ordered had a large amount of toppings but the pizza was a bit overcooked. I was disappointed that the pizza was overcooked but the pizza still have good flavor. It was not the quality I expected but I would still order Gia's, their pizza is still a cut above the rest. read more

I love the Gia's Salad but they give you 2 approx. 1 oz servings of dressing for a really large salad. I need to ALWAYS REMEMBER to order more extra dressing. The extra dressing barely is enough to handle the salad. they charge for the extra 2, small 1 oz servings of dressing for $1 At that rate 128 oz (Gal. ) of dressing would cost $62 I really think you need to re-think this since it is a great salad but REALLY short on the dressing. May stop buying here. We will see. read more

Gia's is definitely a hometown favorite. Typically everyone is friendly, and the food is always fresh. Gia's sits at the corner in what people would consider "downtown O'fallon". Ambiance is great, there's a main dining area with televisions and a bar, and additional seating on the north side of the restaurant. read more

Food was delicious. Can't wait to have it again!! Toppings were tasty, sauce was bold but didn't over power.

DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT! They do not honor their pricing from their Website. I ordered carryout for their Weekend Special which was listed for $30 plus Tax on their Company Website. When I arrived at the restaurant to pick up/pay, I was told it was $35 before tax. When I showed the Manager their Website page listing it as $30, she said " I told the Owner a week ago to update that, but he has not. She then stated there was nothing she could do to credit me the difference. As a Manager, you should have the ability to make anything right for a customer. It was not about the $5, which I would have gladly put toward the team tips. The bottom line is this-you have a price on your site as one number and charge your customer a higher number when they come to pick up and are not willing to make it right! We have been going to Gia's for Years-that has ended for our family, friends and hopefully everyone I can share this story with on social media and restaurant sites. read more

I don't get out to O'Fallon, IL very often, being a south city resident. However, I will gladly make the trek to Gia's every time because the pizza is legit tasty as heck! Of all the places on our pizza passport this summer, this is our favorite. We ordered the chicken alfredo pizza. You get toppings end to end, nice crisp thin crust, tasty squares of pizza. All ingredients are fresh and well seasoned. I dream about this pizza regularly! They have socially distant spaced tables, all staff were wearing masks properly. Some tables are outside and others are inside. They have a pick up window on the sidewalk if you do not want to go inside. read more

Everyone liked the lunch pizzas. House Salad dressing tasted odd, almost smoky, but the balsamic dressing was good. Wings were dried out and appeared day old. Not just overbaked but no juices left and not much flavor, not even salt. Nice covered patio. Service was perfunctory but not very friendly. I'd come back for the pizza and a beer. Wouldn't touch the wings, but then it is a pizza place. read more

This is a great pizza place. The food is amazing. I had the Saturday special with a large pizza, cheese bread and a house salad. We ordered the Baked potato pizza (takeout pizza on Saturday 1/16/21). The pizza was extremely salty, almost inedible. We have had pizza from this restaurant for years and always enjoyed it. We plan on ordering from them again. This might be an isolated incident. With COVID, restaurant employees must be stressed. I wanted the manager to be aware so as to prevent this from happening to others. read more
