The St Patricks drink specials were good!!! The Coco Melon and Fuzzy Leprechaun!! The pizza came out Hot and Delish.. you can also buy pizza by the slice... Try the Biscuit and Gravy one!!!! They also have a new Mac n Cheese pizza!!!! The only thing I would suggest is putting up TV's around the place so people can enjoy sports or other things. The only TV is at the Bar!!!! I was told about this pickle pizza from Bennie's for a year now so I had to go try it! First impression was not great because service was not great. We were ignored while trying to order pizza for about 15 min. Once we finally ordered which be warned these slices run from $7-$9 ( well worth it imo) we grabbed a seat with our buzzer. They can make any pizza slice made to order which I thought was awesome! The pizzas were incredible! The bruchetta was pretty good too. They have a bar inside but seperate from the pizza ordering station so we grabbed some beers from over there as well. They had live music that night which was fun. What an awesome place! Everyone loved their pizza, including me with my gluten friendly crust (couldn't taste the broccoli and was glad to get some extra veggies in)! The quality of the cheese and ingredients was definitely high. There was live music when we went and the musician was awesome. What a nice touch! We came on a Saturday to watch basketball, have a few beers, and share a pizza. We sat at the bar, the bartender was really friendly and attentive to everything we needed. We ordered the Cali Squeeze beer and the pizza we decided on was pepperoni and sausage, usually I prefer a thin crust but we ordered regular crust instead. It was so good, the ratios of sauce, cheese, and toppings were perfect. I will definitely be back for more game days! The pizza was more than enough for 2 of us (we planned to have left overs). A perk was that they usually have live music which really adds to the fun atmosphere! They had a good number of customers but they weren't swamped by any means. Still plenty of open seating available. According to our receipt the order for onw pizza and an order of wings was entered at 1:42 pm. At 2:45 our food still wasnt out. When it finally showed up, the crab dip pizza was bland and we never did find any crab on it. To wait an hour for food and then have it be bland and subpar was beyond disappointing. No thanks Bennie. First time wandering over to main street in many months and found ole Bennie's looking at us from across the street. He wasn't with the Jets...but he did smell good and looked quite attractive from the outside appearance. When walked into the doors, the place has a hip-modern look to it with a bar offering local and major brands right at the front of the place while you order your food later in the back of the place. The pizza is a bit pricey but we did decide on a big supreme pie for the 3 of us and it was even too much for me to finish at one sitting. The crust is so dang good, I swore off bread for two days in protest of not ruining my taste buds experience of Bennie's crust. Tucked away on Main Street in Belleville is a really cool pub with AMAZING pizza! Wanted some quick to go so I couldn't try their monthly special, which was saaaad because it looked delicious. The pepperoni was outstanding tho - crispy, chewy crust with a slightly spicy pepperoni (don't worry; it's not hot, just a little different than everybody else's). In a luncheon of goodness, however, the item I ordered as a second thought - the caprese bruschetta - was a superstar! Seriously. So good! Been eyeing Bennie's for a few months now and finally made the 40 min drive to check them out. Walked in around 5pm on a Tuesday with a group of 4 and sat at the bar even though there were several tables available; bartender greeted us immediately and took our drink orders. Ambiance is pretty cool and kind of a rustic feel. As mentioned in several reviews, you order from food counter and get a buzzer for when your food is ready. We wanted to try a variety of items and ordered both apps - garlic cheese bread and the caprese bruschetta - both were amazing! For pizza, we went with slices (each slice is the equivalent of two) of crab rangoon, buffalo chicken, supreme, chicken fontina, Hawaiian hog and pickle. Overall favorites were buffalo chicken and crab rangoon. Hawaiian hog was too sweet for some, including me, taste like sweet baby rays bbq sauce which I'm not a fan of but to each their own. Supreme and pickle received mixed reviews and were good overall. The chicken fontina was pretty dry and felt like it needed more sauce. Overall, a great spot with variety and customer service was great. No complaints from the group and will return if in the area but probably won't make the 40 min drive just to dine. read more

A slice of pizza at Bennie's is equivalent to about a quarter of a medium sized pizza. Pic shows my slice cut in half. Slice of pizza is not available with vegan crust. However, you can order a large vegan cauliflower crust pizza, veggie and vegan cheese. It is so good even my non-vegan husband raves about it. There was live music which was great. i have been a customer about twice a month for over a year. I went in recently and ordered wings as usual, and they normally make them equal parts about 8 flats and 8 drums, I placed two orders, 16 wings total Last time, I received 13 wings in total for my two orders. Previously, the wings were consistent. This time however, when the wings arrived, I was told this is how they do it now, and the server smirked about it. I offered to pay an extra $5 for a few more, since we were short of our normal order. I went to the food counter and the lady claimed that I threw money at her, which was a blatant lie. As a long time customer, I feel this is horrible. If your policy had changed, just tell the customer beforehand, I can understand that! I would have ordered something else, no problem! I have never been treated in such a manner, and most establishments are glad to see me, I tip well and treat the staff respectfully. It is apparent that after this experience, we are not wanted as customers anymore. I did talk to management to get this resolved before I decided to post this review. I am absolutely obsessed with this place because of the pickle pizza! It has been the go to birthday lunch order spot for me and my coworkers. Ordering ahead has been working out very well for us and I never have had to wait more than 5 minutes for my order. They do charge for dipping sauces so make sure to mention them when you order! This is a great place for a slice of pizza and a glass of wine. The only issue is that the price of pizza has increased so much recently.

We had never been there before and the experience started out promising. We sat at the bar and placed our order. They started bingo/karaoke and we joined in. After some games and a few karaoke singers I noticed everyone that arrived and ordered around the time we did had received their food. I asked the lady that took our order about ours and she went over to the oven came back and said ours was in the oven. We continue to play four more games of bingo and still no pizza. I see there is no one ordering any longer and most of the people that arrived when we did were gone. I said to our server that I believed our order was missed. At this point we had been waiting over an hour for our pizza. Our server again went to the ovens and then sent another server over to us and she apologized as we should have been told the wait was an hour when we placed our order. This was an obvious lie that took me from a bit annoyed to anger. Since it was not overly busy when we arrived, everyone else got there order and the restaurant had cleared out I called the lady out in this lie. She went over to the ovens and came back and said our order was in the oven. We were then offered gift cards, extra food etc. Bottom line we ordered according to my card at 6:18 pm. We received our pizza at 7:48pm. I asked for it to go as the restaurant had made a last call and closed at 8pm. Mistakes happen I would have been fine with a simple oops were sorry and working on it. I would have the first impression that the service is slow and the restaurant is disorganized (receipts weren't printing out in triplicate as they should), but the entertainment was fun and I would have overlooked it and come back. What we got was a lie and mediocre pizza. By the time we got it I was over the entire experience. I would not recommend going here and have no plans to return anytime soon. This is a Belleville staple! It's no frills, great quality food and great location. I love outdoor seating and they have a great patio! I love that you can order a slice of any pizza and it will be hot and fresh. My favorite is crab Rangoon pizza, with a side salad with the peppercorn dressing. The pizza is excellent! As is the environment and staff. This isn't St. Louis style pizza it's a slightly thicker crust, but not Chicago style either. It's definitely well made and they offer quite a few special pizzas that you normally wouldn't consider. I never do reviews, but I feel compelled to in this case. I had a friend in from out of town and we thought we'd try Bennie's and get a pie. We're both almost 70 and have eaten God knows how many pizzas all over the world (we were both 20 year military men) in our lives to include some of Italy's best. We ordered a thin crust Premium Meat Lovers pizza. The bartender/waitress, after 10 minutes, realized she forgot to put in our order and had to come back and take it again. For the second time, we told her we wanted thin crust. After watching many other customers get their orders before us that came in after us we finally got our order, but, no thin crust, thick crust which we don't care for and didn't order. We were tired of waiting so we just said okay we'll take the thick crust. Then, the plates they brought us were dirty, which the bartender/waitress recognized after putting them down and brought us clean ones, but why were we brought dirty plates in the first place. The first plate I was brought had some sticky sauce on the bottom that left sauce all over the bar surface in front of me that I had to wipe up myself with napkins, which consequently got said sticky sauce all over my hands. We ordered a Premium Meat Lovers pizza but the toppings were scant. Large slices of pizza but only 2-3 slices of pepperoni, 1-2 pieces of sausage, 1-2 pieces of bacon, and 1-2 pieces of Canadian bacon/ham on each slice. For a $25 pizza I expect tons of meat, this was basically just a regular sausage and pepperoni pizza with a bit of bacon and ham on top of it. A nice bar, good drink selection, wings were good, but the pizza, at least the Premium Meat Lovers was disappointing. Sorry, when I order a "Premium Meat Lover's" pizza I expect to see nothing but meat on top, no/little cheese visible. read more
