Called to get a quote on a re-key, was quoted a $75 call out fee plus an amount for each lock. Mentioned that their website (even as of this morning, 6:32am, 06/26/20) had a pop up ad offering 50% off of the call out fee. The woman I was speaking to told me that the deal was over, and they took it off the website. Really don't appreciate being lied to, especially by a company in the security business. Going elsewhere, you should too. read more

Jimmie Lock & Key - The false offer in question. - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Broomfield, Colorado

When I lock my self out of my business and called Jimmies they where there in 10 minutes. Great service. Thanks Jimmie

I was able to have some "exotic" keys made there for a plane. Good service and quick.

I have been a longtime customer of Jimmie Lock & Key. I am always impressed and happy with Bill's commitment to make sure everything is taken care of and done properly before he leaves. He goes above and beyond for every appointment, not to mention he's just great to shoot the breeze with. I always recommend them to friends, family and all of my clients, if they ever need a locksmith. read more

Absolutely the best/ easiest experience I have had with a locksmith. I was passing through the area and needed a spare key for my car made ASAP. I called ahead and they told me to swing by. I Walked In and was done in less than ten minutes. I did call around to other locksmiths in the area but gut the standard "our technician will get back to you". And I had to schedule an appointment. I didn't get pricing from the other locksmiths but it was kinda a emergency so I didn't care about the pricing. I thought the price to have the duplicate made was extremely reasonable regardless You can't put a price on convenience and customer service when you're in a bind. read more

I called to set an appointment to change my lock. To save them time I gave them photos of my existing locks and a photo of an example of what I needed. While the phone receptionist was very friendly, I was promised the technician would call me back later that day. No call that day. No call the following day. read more

Came here once for a product, they didn't have it, they'll need to order it. Ok no worries. Came back, and the owner wasn't there, and they had the product but couldn't get the job done. Try to throw money at this company and they can't even help you. read more

I've never had any problem going in and getting copies of keys at this location. I work at the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport nearby and they have been a dream helping to provide copies of keys for aircraft and buildings. We've also purchased engraved tags, combination locks, and hide-a-key containers. They have everything! Very nice employees, always friendly and quick. read more

Great fast service. The key faube failed while the car was running heating up. They showed up to pop the lock in 15 min and the gentleman was very friendly. Highly recommended for their service. The lady on the phone was also very sweet. He had a van full of tools and air pumps to pop open the door without damaging the car. 5 stars read more

The owner came and fixed our front door handle and lock. He was incredibly kind, professional, did not waste a minute...and the bill was amazingly less than I thought. I called 4 other locksmiths and chose Jimmie Lock & Key because, not only could I understand the professional who answered the phone, they were not looking to inflate our bill, they were ONLY INTERESTED making certain that we were well taken care of and at a very reasonable price! Thank you Jimmie Lock & Key! Legacy Ridge residents LOVE your professionalism and fairness. I love that you do not try to rip people off. Kudos to a great business owner! YOU ARE THE BEST and we will always recommend your services to anyone in need. Keep up the GREAT WORK! Thanks so much! read more

Recently my 80-yr old mother was locked out of her house on a hot day. We needed fast service and Jimmie's came through. From the time I called Jimmie's until the front door was unlocked was less than an hour. Technician "Bill" was friendly and efficient. He opened the door and installed a new deadbolt with 2 keys for a reasonable price. We would not hesitate to call Jimmie's again. read more

Had a new lock mechanism installed by Jimmie lock on my security door. After a short time the lock started sticking open. Called Jimmie lock to check the operation of the lock. They wanted to charge a new trip charge of $55 plus labor to fix the lock that they had installed less than two months ago. Why should I have to pay twice to get a working Lock? read more

This place is great! I have never written a review before today. I had a problem with the lock and handle on my cargo box and brought it in to this place to see if they could help me out. The owners were sooo nice and he basically fixed both locks within 10 minutes. He is knowledgeable and fast, so I highly recommend Jimmie Lock and Key. read more

I have a very rare motorcycle and I found 2 OEM key blanks online for quite a bit of money. I took them to Jimmie Lock and Key and explained my situation to the lady working there. She cut a blank that she had in store that would fit my bike, just to make sure it worked. It worked first try, so I gave her the go-ahead for the two OEM blanks. Both of them work flawlessly. If I had taken it to Home Depot or any other store, I'm sure they would've messed up my keys then shuffled me out of the store. I highly recommend Jimmie Lock and Key and will use them for any of my Lock/Key related needs! read more
