We both thoroughly enjoyed our burgers. They were juicy and huge. The bun was perfect. My baked potato was like no other. Everything was delicious! The service was excellent and quick, even though they were short on staff. Our bill, including two meals and one beverage was only $36. If you're in the area you must try this place! read more

Came on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, they only had 1 waitress, so the kitchen folks needed to come out and fill in between orders. The salad bar was closed and there was no bread. Wish there was even cornbread or garlic bread for sale. Due to the shortage in staff, we waited 10 minutes to order drinks. Several parties were seated after and 1 received their food before us, so we were salivating. As for dinner, we ordered a veggie plate, a pork sandwich, burnt ends dinner and kids Mac 'n cheese. The food that came with the meals were: -corn nuggets, which were nice and hot; -cowboy beans, which were good, -okra, which was warm enough, yet no seasoning added; -Mac 'n cheese, which was pretty good, yet tasted like it was boxed; -pork sandwich was good; -beef burnt ends, not warm enough (thinking it was plated 1st?) -fries were good. Overall, the food was pretty good. Wish the service was a little better though, as our server was somewhat snarky (probably from the stress). Would I recommend? Yes, but be forewarned it costs extra for the okra and corn nuggets, which I didn't know until I got the ticket. read more

I would not recommend going here. We should have never gone in last night, once we saw the handwritten sign on the door, that said We are Short Staffed, Thanks for your patience! We had 10 in our group after doing a 15 mile hike at Fontana Lake. We got seated fairly quickly. Our waitress was the ONLY server in the entire restaurant at that time. Finally our orders are in! Then the wait! We waited 1 HOUR and a HALF on our food to come out! By then everyone was ready to get up and just leave! She kept saying the kitchen was overworked and really behind. 1 1/2 hours behind?! Finally our food came out. Some in our party's, food was good and hot, some folks food was not warm, and not very good. Most of us were so tired of waiting, we had lost our appetites and just wanted to go home! Most of us still had an hour or more drives to home. Then when we are ready to pay. Our server said she could not print out individual tickets, we would have to ask the casher to break up our tickets at the register! We waited another 15 minutes at the register because no cashier! Finally a lady in an apron came from the back to check us out. A nice and gracious guy in our group, paid for all 10 of us! I think he just wanted us all to get out of there and home! Not only did the burnt ends taste like beef jerky - which I like, but for snacks, not dinner - the "pulled" pork was chopped and tasted like it came from a can, with a hint of cat food. But unfortunately Ithink this is just for show because my ribs were absolutely not cooked on a wood fired smoker nor was my wife's chicken breast. Ive smoked too many ribs and pork butts and know the difference between real bbq and something baked in an oven. The pulled pork was mushy, wet like from a crock pot. This is legit barbecue!! So so tasty. Unfortunately I have to give four stars only because there was no kids menu and they did not seem prepared at all to serve kids. Thank goodness they had a high chair. We brought our four children age 6 and under. I ended up ordering a chicken tender platter and splitting it between them. My husband was supposed to get two sides but they only brought one. Also I can't find their hours anywhere, not even on the door. The bathroom was kind of dirty. The coleslaw is a bit too sweet for my taste and the bright white LED lights could be changed to warm tone to add to the mood but a solid place that is bound to get even better after some dial ins. The steak was tender and flavorful. The macaroni was delish. The nachos were awesome. Better than that was the service. Impeccable. We were checked on numerous times and they were all so kind. My only two complaints: it was FREEZING in there and I am hot natured, so if I'm cold, it's cold. The waitress was great - very friendly, but told us they were sold out of wings and then about 10 minutes later they magically had them again. Prices are high for a brisket sandwich - same price as a rib plate with two sides. Waitress told us ribs had dry rub. The ribs had no flavor. Same as the brisket sandwich. Half of the brisket sandwich was fatty, the other half very tough. No sauce bottles on the table. Sauce comes out cold in condiment cups. Fries undercooked. Over $90 for 4 people was high. Especially when you can go to the steakhouse and get better food for the same cost. The pros - good white macaroni and cheese and ribs were so tender where the meat came off the bone before it got to us. Kinda makes it hard to order ribs though when the meat is already off the bone.
