Fairly standard or as expected. You won't write home about it but it's good and drive through is convenient.

They definitely don't skimp on portions. The chips are seasoned really well, the cheese sauce has great flavor without being overly spicy, and if you're not a fan of heat, the jalapeños can be served on the side. One thing I appreciated was being able to choose our own BBQ sauce from the options available at the table. Both sauces were solid, and it was nice to customize each bite to our taste - one more sweet and the other more savory. The rest of our group was equally happy with their meals. My mom ordered the brisket sandwich and loved it, while my brother-in-law got the quarter BBQ chicken and said it was cooked perfectly: juicy, flavorful, and with just the right amount of pinkness that good smoked chicken often has. A great bonus is that you can add their ultimate salad bar to any entrée for only $8, which is a fantastic value. The staff was wonderful throughout our visit: kind, patient, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. They answered questions without making us feel rushed and kept everything running smoothly for our group. We walked over after spending time at Ober Mountain, and it made for the perfect meal after a busy day. My only "complaint" is that they serve Pepsi products, but that's really just because I'm a devoted Coke fan, so I'll chalk that up to a personal character flaw rather than a restaurant problem. Highly recommend if you're looking for generous portions, great BBQ, and friendly service in Gatlinburg.

Highly recommend using their tomato based bar-b-que sauce that isn't in the bottle with it. Only thing that confuses me is how this place isn't packed wall to wall.

We stopped for water (Aquafina) and I thanked the heavens above that it wasn't Dasani because, had it been, I would've died on that hill, literally! We stayed for the fans, the shade and eventually the food. The pulled pork on the cold, stiff bun was room temp with pockets of hot meat here and there. I used the spicy sauce and discarded the bun. It was okay. The green beans were lifeless and flavorless. I ate them because...nutrients?! P.S. The cashier was soliciting tips from the customers. I overheard another customer complaining about it and then I confirmed it with my husband, who had stood in line to pay. Apparently, it's a situation where you can tip on your card and that doesn't need to be pointed out, but the cashier was applying the pressure by asking folks outright if they would like to leave a tip. It was just slightly uncomfortable, and effective. Both my husband and the other customer who was complaining left a tip. You walk thru a deli-style line with a cafeteria tray, carrying your own food to the table, so.. there's that. P.S. The vistas are beautiful. Excellent backdrop for family or individual photos.

This is a tough review…read more Here's the good: The restaurant is large, clean and spacious and the service is great. The food however is a little complicated. The food is plentiful. The meat is falling-off-the-bone tender. And there are three BBQ sauces: mild, sweet and spicy. Here's the bad: The food is only as good as the sum of its parts. The ribs alone, okay. The pulled pork, practically bland. Potato salad and BBQ sauces, they're okay. Everything is not bad, but not good either. It's like BBQ made for people who are supposed to be watching their diet. Low sugar. Low salt. Low flavour. Here's the solution: Combine everything. Order the pretty good potato salad and the better than average baked beans, get a bit of each in your mouth, and boom: You've got a yummy mouthful. Did you get the well cooked but bland pulled pork? Worry not friends. Combine the BBQ sauces. Soak that pulled pork with two parts of the okay Spicy sauce, one part of the meh Sweet sauce and three parts of the, more flavorful but still missing something, Mild sauce. And tadaah, You've got the most amazing Pulled Pork Sandwich. Then, use that same sauce combo for your ribs to kick them up. Ultimately, it's a DIY BBQ situation and up to you to decide if the taste is worth the effort.
