I just called them because we have an unexpected and sudden loss of water pressure in the kitchen sink (all other areas have good water pressure), which seems to me like a leak that needs to be addressed soon. When I spoke to the scheduler, she very casually said, "Oh, we can have someone out on the 13th", which would be over two weeks from now. There was no offer to put us on a wait list. There was no concept that a sudden loss of pressure might be indicative of a larger problem. Out of good will for their previous work, I am leaving four stars, but this was a one star response, and it was extremely disappointing.

I had roots growing in my pipes and instead of paying another company $7000 to replace the broken pipe at the elbow that allowed the roots to grow in and cause back-ups, he suggested sewer lining, which is supposed to cover all the cracks in old pipes. The quote was $4500 to line 30 feet from the basement out to the end of the yard. There was no mention that the liner can't cover pipe elbows! It was nothing but a disaster! When Darryl attempted to do the job, the 1st thing to happen was the liner got stuck in the pipe, under the basement floor! He had to break open the floor cement to pull it out! He was forced to replace that pipe and redo the floor cement! Then it happened 2 more times! It turned out my pipes were 4 inches and they only had 6 inch liners. Halpin refused to get 4 inch liners! Finally after weeks later, getting the liner in place and supposedly the job was done, my pipes continued to have issues of a back-up on the basement floor! In the meantime, Darryl left the company! I can only imagine why! Each time this happened, I called to complain and they came out and said I had root problems and snaked it to clear it! Each time I asked why I had roots after they lined the pipe, they claimed they told me the liner could not line in an elbow and that's where the roots were! I argued with them that I was never told that but they claimed it was my problem and not under warranty anymore! I told them that from the beginning, I knew the roots were in the elbow and that's what the original job was supposed to fix! I knew because the other company showed me on the video during their $7000 quote! Darryl never told me that the liner would not cover the elbow even though I made a point of telling him that's where the problem was! There's nothing in my quote, either! It says a full 30 feet will be lined! The last guy that came tried to charge me to snake it and I refused! He said he wouldn't charge me that time but anytime in the future, they would! That's 5 yrs ago! I've had back-ups, twice a year since! I've had to call a different plumber each time (Because I refuse to give Halpin another dime) and for the last year have been getting root killer to help! AS A RESULT, ALL PAPER HAS TO BE PUT IN THE TRASH CAN! CAN YOU IMAGINE ALL YOUR DIRTY TOILET PAPER ALWAYS IN THE TRASH!? IT HAPPENED AGAIN YESTURDAY BECAUSE MY 11 YR OLD GRANDSON FORGOT AND PUT PAPER IN THE TOILET AND THAT FAST, IT CAUSED A BACK-UP! I'M NOW 67 YRS OLD AND HAVE TO DEAL WITH POOP BACKING UP ON THE BASEMENT FLOOR, AGAIN! On 10 February we noticed a leak in our basement that we thought was a foundation breach around the main water line. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the main water feed line coming into the house had a crack in it. At that point, we turned off the water supply and spoke with Lisa at the main desk. Lisa was wonderful and compassionate. She had Logan at our house 2-3 hours later to do a field evaluation. Logan worked with Jeremy in the office to get a recovery plan started, and a team to our location the next morning. On 11 February a team of professionals arrived. They took the time to ensure they understood the entirety of the situation on that ground, and, that we understood the plan for repairs. John, Michael and Mark spent 5 hours working and keeping us up to date on their progress. Upon completion they showed us the results of their work and ensured we were happy, which we are. However, that is when they continued to support our situation to help locate a separate water leak on the property. This took them another hour to help locate and isolate the issue (they are working up an estimate at this time to recover that issue in the future). Courteous and professional the whole way through!
