On 4/22/26 I stopped in for assistance with something underneath my car dragging after road debris loosened it. Abel was very helpful. Short and sweet: we called ahead to make sure they were open and able to register and smog check our car between 5:55 and 6:10 (time it takes to get there and not be late for babysitting). Phone etiquette was fine. But the top notch is we didn't have to ask the staff to MAKE SURE (you know how that is); they asked the attendant specifically and had them expecting us. He knew we were in a hurry. Though he was also training someone, he was quick and did what he could to make the paperwork happen as fast as possible. Very considerate and polite. Smog was completed and passed. Tech went to check my gas cap and you can audibly hear the seal break. Told me my gas cap rubber was too old and failed it. I went and grabbed a new cap and the tech made me run another smog. Again passed. I WAS CHARGED TWICE! When I asked him about this he got confrontational and wanted to fight. Jiffy lube on north hills Blvd does absolute crap work , charged my daughter 400 bucks for spark plugs and only changed 5 of the 6 , called the manager and they claim my daughter was in a hurry and they had to stop at 5 plugs , BS . The manager is a liar the tech is a pile of shit . She is 18 , ( she wanted to take care of things)the vehicle stopped running at around midnight near bonanza after they worked on it, luckily her friend lives down the street and was able to pick her up, we were able to get it towed to our house, so her dad/my husband can fix it.. but who knows what could of happened to her read more

Took both sons' vehicles in for an oil change, at different times; one was a VW Tiguan and the other a Ford F150z Tiguan was fine, had to pay for synthetic, but I already knew that. The Ford F159, on the other hand, completely different story. A couple days AFTER the oil change, the truck overheated and died out on the road. This is a truck that had absolutely no issues prior to the oil change. None at all. At any rate, I had it towed to my house and because the truck would not turn on, the two truck driver had to drag it on the tow truck. The truck sat on the curb for a couple days while I looked for a mobile mechanic that could come to the truck. I finally found one and he figured out that there were some loose parts that caused the water pump to fail (not sure how to correctly word this) so I had to have the water pump replaced. The mobile mechanic replaced it and I haven't had any issues since. Another thing I haven't done since is return to this Jiffy Lube location. I like the Valvoline oil change place down the street - they don't have groupon but my son's truck has not had any issues since going there. read more

The process was fairly simple and I thought the price would be decent, but I ended up paying $80+ for an oil change just to get home and find a good amount of oil leakage under the car on our drive way. This was noticed three days later because it's one of our teens car and not used everyday. I plan to go back tomorrow to see about getting it corrected but it's too late to do anything about a stain on our driveway! Stay clear brought my wife's car in for an oil change, they wanted to add extra stuff I kindly declined I could tell they where getting frustrated, they pulled out my air filter brought it to my window as in was sitting in the car said it needed to be replaced I declined payed bill thanked them and drove off went to get onto hwy 395 put some gas to it and car stalled out mind you I have my 2 little daughters with me pull off to the side out the on ramp wouldn't stay running had to have my car towed back to Quincy to Frank's Garage for repairs not mowing what the problem was, after Brian was able to locate the problem he told me my air filter had been installed backwards and blew a bunch of dust into my mass airflow sensor and clogged it. So we reach out manger says he will review the tapes and call us back week has passed and no response I call today and he tells me he reviewed the tape and he never touched it (flat out lie) I tell him that it says right here on the invoice that you did he then tells me well he did but you can't install it backwards so instead of arguing I ask him for his corporate number he laughs at me and tells he to find it online and then hangs up. Haas two other cars in the bay. 3 other men walked in and got checked in and I sat waiting and still not checked in. Then at 3:30 another gentleman walked in and within 5 minutes he got checked in. At this point I had been waiting over an hour and had 4 men serviced and checked in and gone before I was. I was very upset at this point as they said it is fist come first serve. Took my vehicle in for a coolant exchange - After this exchange, my radiator froze, craked, and began spilling coolant every time it was driven. This shop now states they have no responsibility over the issue and will not do anything to remedy the situation despite the improper exchange being the cause of the issue (verified by another mechanic). I WILL NEVER RECCOMEND JIFFY LUBE AGAIN! The manager was also rude and had an attitude with both myself and my significant other. AVOID if you care for your car! My 2020 Yukon needed an oil change. Dealer in Reno couldn't fit me in until February, advised I just not drive (for a month and a half!) so I went to Jiffy Lube North Hills. Wow! 3 Strikes and your out! 1. In a pinch I took my F-150 ECO Boost for a quick oil change a few months ago as I usually change the oil myself. Upon my next oil change I couldn't get my oil filter off as it is "Hand Tighten" only because of the location of the filter. It took two people using a filter wrench and crushing the filter into oblivion just to loosen the filter. The techs at Jiffy Lube should have know this. 2. Took my personal vehicle to work so I could stop on the way and get a quick smog. Upon arrival the tech stated his only Smog Tech was on lunch (2:30pm) and wouldn't be back for an hour. Really!?!... there is only one tech with the brain capacity do perform a smog??? 3. FYI, oil rags and windows don't mix! I'm done with Jiffy Lube, especially North Valleys. read more

I will never use this or any Jiffy Lube again. The last three times I've had my oil changed there it's been a half a quart over. The mechanic and the manager both told me it can be above the full Mark and still be in the normal range.This time I took my truck to my mechanic, he then pointed out that I have low brake fluid, which no one else has ever told me that and the oil plug was tightened down so that it had to be replaced, it was stripped out. I spend a month trying to get a hold of their corporate office with no return phone calls... I like to use my Community as much as possible, and I have never written a negative review on anyone before today. read more

So let's start off with they did my oil change and it was done correctly but only because I watched. So for that I'll give them two stars. I own a turbo diesel and I brought them my own oil and filter. This filter is supposed to be filled with two quarts of oil and then 13 qts in the crankcase. I informed the manager that that is exactly what I wanted. In fact I told him three times. Well when I watch the kid start to fill my truck and then I notice that the lower bay is closed off I went out and asked the manager if the lower bay tech filled the filter with oil. The manager then states "Oh did you want him to?" Yes. I told the manager three times what I wanted and that without filling the filter they can cause bearing damage. Now it might be insignificant damage but still this is the procedure for changing the oil on this vehicle and in fact the procedure for most turbo charged vehicles. So before I could even finish this review I found that my vehicle was dripping oil. Apparently wiping down any oil that was spilled while taking off the old filter isn't in the lower bay technicians job description. But I should've figured that by the general I don't give a crap attitudes from most of the techs working there. I will say the manager was nice and so was the guy who pulled my truck back in to check the filter and wipe down the oil. But overall a very unpleasant experience. One in which I will not partake in again from this location. I will also say this. I have been an automotive mechanic most of my life and have actually run two different Jiffy Lube stores in California. I know the routine's and some of the attitudes from the technicians and this is why I watch diligently while they change my oil. I usually change my own oil however there were exceptions this time as to why I could not. read more

They always greet you at the door when you pull in, asking what you need done that day and give you a clear direction of what to do next. We usually use this Jiffy Lube location for smog check because most of the time, it is an 10-minute job for them, of course there were times we had to wait 30 minutes when the line was 4 - 5 car deep for the smog.
