I would like to bring to everyone's attention a recent experience I had with the Jiffy Lube location in Redmond, where we have been loyal customers for the past 13 years. We have always appreciated their status as a veteran-owned business and felt we could trust them with our vehicles. However, during my wife's recent visit to have her Jeep's oil changed, we noticed that the window sticker was not updated. This was the second time in a row this has happened. I also discovered that all four valve stem caps were missing. I had previously purchased stainless steel 9mm shell caps for her Jeep. I contacted the Jiffy Lube, and they assured me they would investigate the matter. The following day, they reviewed the technician's information and stated they would reach out to him. After several days, I followed up and was informed that the cameras confirmed the valve caps were present when the vehicle arrived, and not there when she left but they could not identify who removed them and that they would not replace them. When I expressed my disappointment, particularly regarding our longstanding patronage, the response I received indicated a lack of accountability. It is concerning that an employee had taken personal property, and the management's decision not to address the issue reinforces a mistrust. While the monetary value of the valve caps is not significant, the principle of the matter is troubling. This incident raises questions about overall security and integrity at this establishment. What else do the employees help themselves to? Change any cash they find? Consequently, I have decided to seek service from another provider moving forward. read more

Message to owner. When a return customer drives to your shop to get an oil change and finds that you have already run out of 100% synthetic you don't try to up charge him $10 more for an "upgrade" oil you eat your mistake for having run out of oil and save a customer for the future. With three vehicles to service I will be a return customer somewhere else. Jiffy Lube should have management courses to provide more consistent service. read more

Caused 500.00 damage to vehicle. Must remove undercarriage guard on Ford escape to change oil. The only put 3 back only 2 screws of 12 that hold it up. She drove same day to Salem, the guard blew off and was destroyed. This is gross negligent as is the case with 90% of their reviews. read more

I'd like to give everyone a heads up on recent issue I had with the Redmond Jiffy lube. My change oil indicator came on and since I have done business with other Jiffy lubes on my travels, I stopped at the Redmond one for an oil change. One of the crew members went over the oil change and I let them know I had a $20 coupon. He suggested I do a brake fluid flush.?. I asked how much does that run? He quoted me a price that was out of my budget. I told him just the oil change please. I have never had any problems with my brakes until after my visit to Redmond Jiffy lube. On my way home from Madras Oregon to Nevada outside of Battle Mountain at 80 mph my {ABS} comes on! while I'm trying to pass a semi-truck. Trying to get off to the side of the road when tires lock up. I don't know what they did but it almost caused me to be in a serious accident! I don't understand why they would sabotage my vehicle for an up sale!? Pretty shady business ethics! read more

If I could give no stars I would. They couldn't take my tire or bumper off to change my headlight and proceeded to act very unprofessional and not give me a clear answer. They told me to FLIRT with the boss to get it done! I've never had an issue at any jiffy lubes because of my headlight until now. They were 4 lazy men that waddled around saying I have to pay $300 at a Chevy dealership. Also wear a mask that doesn't involve politics prick! My brother owns a gas station in town and I'll be making sure NO ONE COMES HERE! So disgusting and I'm really glad I did not have my nephew with me yesterday. read more

They are fast workers, very friendly, seem helpful and do good work. However, be careful if you are a young female taking your car there ... they will up sell you with air filters, cooling flushes and fan belts. Our 20 yr. old daughter was told she needed a fan belt, two air filters, two coolant flushes and that her oil pan was leaking. None of the above items were needed and there is no oil leak. What should have been a regular oil change turned into almost $200! Lesson learned for our daughter. Her dad went in and confronted the manager, basically shaming them for taking advantage of people. I have had my oil changed a couple times here with no issues. I needed to have my vehicle tires rotated and saw Jiffy lube offered this service. I called them to verify and was told it wouldn't be a problem. They said "just come in we'll get it done." I drove down that same day and when I told them what I wanted I was instructed to "come back tomorrow" with really no explanation as to why. I went back the following day, told the employee what I wanted. He went inside, came back to my vehicle and told me, "my supervisor said come back tomorrow" again with no explanation. Needed to get a car inspection for a company I was applying for and they told me that they couldn't pass me because my windshield wiper were bad. They said that they had a set in stock and could replace them for $33. I asked them to see what they were talking about and they said that there was a tear in one of the blades. I went out to look at them and could not see a tear anywhere on the blades and told them exactly that. The guy pointed at the end of the end of one of the blades and said, "See, right there." I looked and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the blades. No tear. He again told me that he could replace them with some in stock for $33. I said I would do it myself and went to Walmart and picked some up for $7 and some change. Threw away perfectly good blades (in hindsight, should have put them back on and used the new ones for when the blades actually got worn out). Rip off scam artists. Everything that is wrong with America today. read more

Great service! They totally went the extra mile with an unexpected problem with a car we had recently bought and went above and beyond to figure out how to get the problem sorted, which took a few hours but they gave my wife a ride home, didn't charge us, and dropped the car off at our house. Will use them again for sure. read more

We were in town visiting from Portland when our thermostat went out in our car. We had no idea what was wrong with the car and couldn't find an open mechanic in town. We decided to see if Jiffy Lube might be able to tell us what the problem was. One of the staff there, unfortunately I did not get his name, told us he suspected it might be our thermostat and hooked us up for a quick diagnostic test. While he could not tell us for sure that was the problem, we later discovered that he was right, it was in fact our thermostat. We were able to get it fixed by a local mechanic who was open on the weekend that we were pointed to by the guys at Baxter's Auto Parts. So Jiffy Lube, Baxter's, and Oscar's Expert Auto Mechanic (All in Redmond) are all pretty awesome in my book! I sent my daughter in to have her oil changed on her Honda Accord today. They took advantage of my daughter by only offering her the more expensive oil change and never giving her the choice of the less expensive oil change. She trusted them and they charged my daughter 25.00 more than they should have. Poor business practice of not advising the customer of all pricing options. They said it was up to her to say no to the first price before they would give her a second option. I will never refer anyone to them again. read more

3rd time I've been here. First time took my personal truck in - they took all the oil out and then said "oh we don't have a filter but we have a guy going to the parts store and he'll be right back." I was there an hour -1/2. Shop guy took our company truck in 2 weeks ago - same story! Drain the oil and "oh no filter". Took my car in today. They drained the oil - showed me my dirty air filter - needed a new one ok.....are you sure you have one in stock. "oh yes, just haven't brought it out yet" Guys went and hid in the side room. No one working on my car - no oil put back in...they were stalling. They didn't have an air filter. They were waiting for someone to come from the parts store. Sure enough the guy sees a car pull up out back - runs out grabs the filter, runs back in and puts it in my car. Lame and liars. I'll never go here again. 3 strikes yer out! read more
