I was having transmissions issues with my '02 GMC 2500HD pickup. Diagnosed that various sensors and solenoids were malfunctioning, so they ordered them up. Problem arose because the parts distributor sent parts that would fit, but wouldn't have functioned properly. Joe and the guys caught the mistake and re-ordered the parts to make sure that the right ones were installed. Now, the truck shifts like it's brand new. I have had EXCELLENT interactions (multiple) with Andy and some of the technicians. I have never met anyone else at the front of the shop. They have worked on my truck multiple times and diagnosed multiple issues on multiple cars for me. Andy has made me happy to give my business to Auto Experts. The one issue that I have is the quality of parts used by the shop. I had a distributor put on my truck and it started having issues recently (roughly 7 months later). My family's longtime trusted shop (in Eastern Oregon) looked over the truck and noted that this distributor was a subpar quality part. Other than potentially low quality parts, I have been happy to be a customer here and plan to continue visiting them. But hopefully not too often, haha! read more

they did a horrible job on my truck bolts were missing and they charged me 900$ for half ass work went back for them to fix it and the guy flat out bold faced lied to me I went in to get a piece of my exhaust replaced and left with more headaches they couldn't do right. I would not recommend this place what so ever read more

This shop has no integrity at all. Kept my families 56 Ford for over 9 months, after a verbal promise to have it done by a certain date. Got it home and it leaks oil like crazy. Not willing to stand behind the work . And it wasn't cheap. Really expected better. Afraid to take it back because how long are they going to keep it this time?? read more

***************************First of all I am a repeat customer of auto experts and would give a 5 star review anyway, however I would give a 500 star if possible. Here is my story. I have a older vehicle that had sat for a few months because I had shoulder surgery and wasn't able to drive. I took it to them with the intention of having a major front end issue and long story short it was a minor problem but that's not the icing on the cake. I picked up the vehicle and glanced down and noticed something shiny In the cup holder. I picked it up and it was a ring my mother in law whom passed away 18 years ago left to my wife who had lost it 2 years ago. Somehow the mechanic found it and placed it into the cup holder. Now I don't know if any other shop would have been honest enough to do that. My wife lost her best friend when she lost her mom and that ring was one of very few items left. I can't say enough good about auto experts and Joe who owns it but I will try. They are without a doubt the best of the best hands down. Charged us for replacing bolts that were missing on my downpipe. After almost passing out a few times while driving I looked for the cause of exhaust fumes in the car. Found the downpipe still only had 1 out of 5 bolts. It needed several repairs ​but next it needed control arms and struts. I really wanted coilovers but they kept telling me how hard it was to find parts for my car and I believed them. After weeks I got impatient and looked things up myself. Found whatever I wanted all day long but service mgr said something under his breath about part markup and wouldn't use them. Ended up with stock ride and seriously sliced sidewalls. I wouldn't even bring it in for them to actually do what we paid for. read more

I've used these guys for the last 8 or 9 years, and I wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my rigs. They're always honest and fair, and I can count on them to give me good advice, and not try to upsell me for stuff I don't need. They're the only ones I let touch my 1991 Grand Wagoneer, and I trust them so much, when I decided to drop a 392 Hemi in the Wagoneer, I had them do it. They're doing it now, and so far its been a great experience. If you don't know about these guys and you live in Central Oregon, you've found a hidden gem. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. The fears I have when taking my car to a mechanic are many as I know virtually nothing about cars. However my transmission went out while on a family vacation and they expedited my service so we were able to leave on time. Helped me find a place to store my luggage in between check out time and when the job finished(just a couple hours of storage time) and then after called me and let me know I forgot a bag, and found a place to safely set it out since it was after close of business. Honest Quality Helpful and Patient Went a few extra miles No complaints outta me. read more

I used to use Auto Experts and was happy in the past but recently took our Subaru to them to have a missing problem fixed, headlight lenses replaced and a loud banging sound repaired. After 3 more trips to the shop, it still isn't right. Had to take it to another shop for the missing problem and found a spark plug wire wasn't put on the spark plug which burnt the end of the brand new wire, a wire that they out on after replacing the plugs. After replacing the headlight lenses the headlights were useless pointing less than 2 car lengths in front of my car and had 2 focus points, I was told by their mechanic that the new lights could not be aimed. I spent about 30 minutes on U tube and found that they can be aimed and had to teach their mechanic how to aim headlights, the lights labor cost me nearly $1K, way overpriced! They did get the banging sound fixed. In the meantime my daughter took her truck to them for making a noise, they replaced parts and less than 2 days later she took it to another mechanic for the same problem and he found the spindles in the transfer case were completely destroyed and he says it had been self-destructing for a long time, makes me wonder if they even drove it after working on it. The whole thing including my daughter's truck cost well over $2500.00. I will never be back!! and I don't recomend them to anyone read more

This place I am very unhappy with. I talked to the company telling them I would be by Saturday Jan 14 2017 to pick up a suburban I had them work on. I was told by the fellow at the office that they would have my truck locked up at the business. I showed up and my car wasn't even at the business. I looked and looked and found it in the parking lot across the street. What a way to treat people's stuff. read more

This place does not honor their warranties. We had a transmission rebuilt here and immediately had excessive noise and when we took it back they claimed they only warranty the parts they replaced so obviously they are not qualified in diagnosis. I myself owned a transmission shop back in the 90's and this would have been taken back in and remedied especially if a customer had spent nearly $2500. Besides the shabby work the owners attitude was very unprofessional and down right rude. Worst mistake we ever made doing business with these guys and there was a bracket they couldn't figure out how to put back in and they simply put it in the bed of the truck and never said a word hoping we wouldn't notice? Don't waste your time or money on these guys. read more
