Got me in fairly quick and we're very honest and open about my issues and even made some suspension adjustments to my coil overs. It's definitely a small mom and pop shop with some real car people at the helm. They like cars, build custom cars, and live the car life which I really appreciate. I'd definitely trust them with any problem beyond my capacity. Plus, they work on older and newer vehicles which is a plus for me as I have both. Auto Clinic is very good. They are thorough and don't add stuff to your bill. My '99 Taco with over 258K miles on it, started popping out of 1st gear, and had some bad tranny bearing noises. I've had them do a number of repairs before, so they were my goto choice. Buying a new Tacoma for around $40,000 was not a good choice, but they said "your truck is in great shape". They found a rebuilt tranny with a very good warranty for under $4,000....1/10th the cost of buying a new rig and all the depreciation. They put in a new tranny, flywheel, clutch package and all the seals and a mid driveline bearing. I could not be happier...they got my old truck back on the road and saved me THOUSANDS over buying a different or new vehicle. Thank you Auto Clinic, You Rock!!!! DO NOT COME HERE I had to drop my car off to get a full inspection done because my car was having issues, they told me it would take a couple days. I then went on vacation and picked it up when I was home. When I saw my car there were MANY things wrong with it. A bunch of plastic bags all over the front seat, one being filled with a yellow liquid. Cables on the front seat. Things all over my car that were supposed to be in my center console. My purse (had nothing inside) AND a pair of sunglasses were also STOLEN out of my center console, as well as a reusable shopping bag. I had a koozie in my car for camping, there was an empty vanilla Dr.Pepper in it as well as a San Pellegrino can in the back on my car, I don't drink either of those things. Wads of hair were in my car (long and black just like the owners). I also found their bills and mail in my car addressed to Auto Clinic of Bend. They also left my back two windows open, and told me it was to air it out? When I confronted them they said someone must have broken in. And they have no cameras to prove it. They were not helpful AT ALL. read more

Extremely disappointed. I had them replace the Ring and Pinion and bearings in my 2019 F250. They were very helpful in getting it done in a short timeline and I appreciated that, however, The rear end failed in less than 7,000 miles, in Moab Utah where I had to have a different shop take it apart and replace it again. I called the Auto Clinic and let them know what was happening and was instructed to bring the parts back so they could send them back for possible warranty. Long story short, I paid $3,000 of which $1,793 was parts, for a repair that failed. There warranty does state that all warranty work must be done in their shop so I understand I'm out labor, but they offered to only reimburse me for their cost only of the parts ($650+-). I will share my experience with everyone that asks me for a recommendation. All they had to do was stand behind their work and I would have been singing their praises, be careful who you choose. read more

Woke up and ran out to get a coffee this morning and my Truck started Smoking.... after a few stops then home to see it still going... I called Auto Clinic... they said the could take a look.... so I ran it over there and they checked it out RIGHT away and after the diagnostic and price was given... I spent a few hours there waiting for it to get done. They saw me Right Away, Diagnosed it Immediately and even got a ride to the Bank so I could pay them RIGHT AWAY!!! We picked Auto Clinic because of all the 5-star reviews on their Facebook page when we bought a used car and wanted it inspected and tuned up, which is exactly what I told them when making the appointment. I took in the car and they replaced the battery and said that the inspection checked out and absolutely nothing else was needed. Less than a week later, the car died on the highway with my 2 month old son in the back and the temp in the 80s. I called the mechanic and the owner offered to look at it if we could bring it back in. A couple days later we managed to get it to the shop. My boyfriend expressed his frustration as we were placed in a dangerous position shortly after being told it was safe to drive. At this point one of the mechanics laughed and said to his coworker, "If someone's car breaks down right after they leave here, I don't give a sh**. That's not my problem." My boyfriend was appalled at this unprofessionalism and stepped away away from the conversation as he was getting heated. Within a minute, the mechanic who said this tells his coworkers "let's jump him" and runs up on my boyfriend instigating a fight. The other two joined him and a fight ensued until I pulled one mechanic off and the owner of the shop came running up to break them up. My boyfriend walked away while they continued to yell profanities at him. The owner offered to look at it again but there is no way I would trust any one of them near our car after they exhibited their unprofessionalism. Terrible display of customer service. Went to someone else who replaced the spark plugs, rotor cap, fluids, and several other basic things that anyone who knows anything about cars should have easily recognized. Will absolutely never go back to Auto Clinic and cannot recommend to anyone. read more

Auto Clinic of Bend saved us. This was was the best experience I have ever had with a car breakdown. My car broke down suddenly while I was here out of town with three kids in tow. They heard me pull up and helped me right away. They diagnosed the problem immediately, and had it fixed within 30 minutes. I wasn't even charged for the repair, although I probably shouldn't say that in the review:) They were compassionate, efficient, and knowledgeable. They have earned my trust. Have been traveling for weeks with my RV from California and have been having issues of various types since I left Los Angeles. Things finally came to a head when I had both batteries dead and I was stranded in downtown bend. I got one battery charged miraculously and limped over to the auto clinic and the owners of the shop met me with smiles on their faces out front. We diagnosed the problem and within 3 hours I was back on the road and continuing my journey with no doubts in my mind on the quality of my engine. I was passing through town when my van started losing water. I suspected it was the water pump and Autozone recommended I take it here. When they looked at it I was told the water pump was good and it was just the bypass hose. It still costs $255 in labor because the same parts had to come off which I understood. They replaced the hose and I thought it was fixed. Until I got hours away and it started losing water again. Turns out the water pump was bad after all. Now I am stranded for a week because the mechanics where I am are booked until then and I'm out another $250 in labor all because of their mistake. I called and the dad didn't seem to want to own up to their mistake at all. Would not recommend going here. read more

Gave me new brakes for $85, something that cost me $430 at Les Schwab. They're honest, inexpensive, and seem to know what they're doing.

My son took his car here to get a new clutch put in. Turns out the part (clutch) was defective so he took it back to Auto Clinic and they told him they would replace it free of charge for him. Yay - that was the right thing to do. What they didn't say was that they would drag their feet for 6 weeks and give him the run around time and time again on why it wasn't getting done. So his car sat in their shop for 6 weeks before he got it back and he and his girlfriend had to scramble for wheels for 6 weeks to get to work (it's their only car). Moral of the story: If you use this shop, hope they get a good part put in the first time and pray you don't ever have to have any warranty work done. read more

I bought a car from this company from the owner Julious June of 2014 It was a 1963 Mercury meteor he told me it did not have a title but assured me he will get one for me. I was nervous at first but he assured me he will get a title by putting a business lien on this car. He said he has done this before and it is totally legal. I read his review on yelp so I trusted this man and his business. It has now been 7 months and I have not gotten a title. I have called him several times over the many months and he has assured me a title is being processed. Now he does not return my phone calls, hangs up when he see's my phone number pop up on caller ID. In January 2015 I left a message telling him I'm now going to seek legal help to get this resolved. I hope for his sake this car is not stolen, or someone still claims it as there's. I'm very very disappointed with this ,man and his company because I trusted him and his daughter who answers the phone.
