Wouldn't recommend going on a weekend .had 1 bay in use. 5 people in there working on 1 vehicle while another worker detailed his car . Waited 20 mins before turning around and leaving. Won't use jiffy lube again as there to many other competitors to not give a chance to. I travel for work so getting oil changes 1 or twice a month is necessary for me. They did not have the proper tools to complete the repair, but announced this after they broke it. Along with the manager, Donald Alston, guaranteed me that they would cover my Uber costs as they botched the repair and kept my car for over 24 hours. He lied and the employees continue to cover up for him especially when he is not during daytime hours. Do NOT take your car to this repair facility for any reason. He has not replied to any of my follow up for reimbursement and none of the employees "have the contact information" for the regional manager, among other company personnel to rectify the issue. They broke my master brake cylinder and did not own up to it. This is the 2nd Jiffy being the other in Greenville, NC that botched a repair that I had to take to the dealership to get fixed. He gave me his personal email, but has not replied nor is he "available" when I've called/visited the location to discuss. read more

Seriously the best experience I've had at a car place. As a woman, its hard to find somewhere that you feel respected and not being taken advantage of. I went in here for a basic inspection so I could renew the tags. The guy who did it was busy trying to get the cars done. I just have one simple request. When I come in to the shop for something that takes 10 minutes, work on one car at a time. Please do not bounce back and forth between multiple cars to get the cars that came in last out faster. I was here first, so I deserve your undivided attention. Glad I was not paying by the hour. I did give 3 stars because even though I might feel it was rude customer service to have one guy doing multiple inspections at the same time, he kept it moving until he was done with both cars. There should be a way to give this place a 0 because that's exactly what they deserve.Came in for an inspection...broke my radiator because they were too busy dancing and carrying on while they were working and I called to let them know trying to explain it to the manager he started to yell and hung up on me. It's always something when it comes to Jiffy Lube specifically this location they have messed up a transmission...a motor and alignments dropping cars to fast. Each time though it took them longer to correct it than it took for them to fix what the broke but it was fixed eventually. Now they won't answer the phone since he hung up on me. Went in today to get my oil changed and to get my state inspection done. I had never received such great customer service while getting my oil changed! All the guys were very nice and sweet. They also offered to vacuum my car for free (: I did have a coupon that I got off of the website but forgot that it said "must present prior to ordering service. If you want to use the coupon and save a few bucks, don't forget to present it! They also gave me a coupon book that I can use on future services as well! read more

Took my vehicle to get inspected last week. Michael Ray Mayse inspected my vehicle and failed me because he said I had leak. The cost if the repairs was estimated at over $300.00 so I decided to take my vehicle to my mechanic and he charged me less than $100.00. I took it back to get it inspected and he failed me again. I took it back to my mechanic where he and two other mechanics took pictures and videos of where it was allegedly leaking to provide evidence that there is no leak. So went to Capital Lube on peace street and I passed with flying colors. I will never go to jiffy lube again, I am reporting this to the NCDOT, and I will be sharing this with my community to make sure they do not commit the same mistake I did. read more

Do not take your car here for any reason. Two weeks ago we took our car to this location for an oil change and tire rotation. While rotating the tires, they broke a lug nut. While repairing the lug nut, they cut the brake line. They "fixed" the brake line, but on our way to DC this weekend, our emergency brake and traction control indicator lights came on, so we took our car to the shop. Upon inspecting our car, the mechanic let us know that we had NO brake fluid because the repaired brake line had a leak. I will also note that there was no record of the brake line repair job in jiffy lube's system, which makes me think whoever did it was trying to hide their mistakes. Very shady. They put my whole family in danger and I will be telling everyone I know to stay away. unfortunately yelp doesn't let you give zero stars because that's what I'd give this location. read more

I took my car to get an oil change and tire rotation. When asked about what kind of oil I wanted in my car, the person working told me my car recommended synthetic oil, which at Jiffy Lube costs between $80-$100. I looked in the manual but it wasn't very specific, simply saying you could use synthetic but there were no recommendations. I could not reach anyone at the dealership at which I bought the car to verify this but I didn't feel like that was the case (and didn't think it should cost that much) so I went with synthetic blend. After the fact, someone at the dealership called me back and told me the car comes with conventional and synthetic is not "recommended". The fact that a conventional oil change is $40 and synthetic is $90 made it clear to me that this store was just trying to charge me as much as possible for a routine oil change. On top of that, the techs couldn't reset my oil light on the dashboard and my car started leaking oil to the point I had to return the car to get the issue fixed. I have definitely done my research and know what kind of oil my car "recommends" (I take fault for that) and I have also searched around and found MUCH cheaper places to get a synthetic oil change if that's what I want. read more
