I got my oil changed this morning and they recommended that I get my tires rotated. They also told me that my inspection was due soon so I got that done as well. They told me about my break fluid and cabin air filters as well, but didn't pressure me into getting it done there. I felt well informed and taken care of. I would recommend this Jiffy Lube to any of my friends who need an oil change! The employees were very nice and knowledgeable. I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell me just because I am a woman (which is always a concern). Did a state inspection here and they managed to fill out the form incorrectly. Wrong engine, wrong body, wrong license plate. I had to go back, but they wouldn't correct it. I had to wait for a second inspection. I will not go here again. It wasn't any cheaper than a real mechanic. read more

I have always debated coming back to this jiffy lube location. Sometimes I can get in and out and it is fine, other times it is an ordeal. It is one thing if it is busy and I have to wait -- no problem. However, I was there for 40 minutes already and the manager asked, without looking me in the eye, to back up to allow a car that just got there to get ahead of me in line. That is inexcusable, and treating another customer like they are not a priority although they patiently awaited their turn in line. Second, I have had consistent issues with the staff. There is one in particular who comes in to say I should purchase additional items or to let you know about the outcome of an inspection. He is unnecessarily snarky. If don't pass an inspection or don't purchase additional items aside from the oil change, don't tell me "You need to get out then." Thirdly, while services can be convenient, jiffy lube services are quite expensive. I don't drive anything luxurious, my car is over 20 years old, and I pay no less than $80 for an oil change. There are way more affordable shops that are equally as convenient. My recommendation would be to seek services elsewhere. I have given this jiffy lube several chances, and I am overall not happy with the customer service. Why come here to spend more and have unfriendly staff, when you an work with a nicer staff elsewhere for less? If this jiffy lube location comes across this review, please consider retraining your staff in matters of customer service. This would make a world of difference for your business. read more

Don't even come here. Wanted it inspected and nothing was done because check engine light was on and said they would fail. We were fine with it failing AS LONG as they still inspected it to see what needed to get fixing as me and my husband were going on a road trip. I was refused service today for an inspection because the manager swore my car had an exhaust leak. (Which is does not). Would not even check it to see, he got an attitude with me and told me to take my car somewhere else and let them do it. I have a 2000 Honda civic and I live in Chatham county. I love this location as I have been there for oil changes and tire rotations. I like the fact you are not pressured into up selling. They simply recommend and the choice is yours. I was in last week for mentioned services; discovered I needed new tires. They ordered 2 and had them on within a couple hours and was able to pickup the other 2 when I returned from out of town a couple days later. read more

Incredible customer service. I have a damaged and hidden headlight socket that makes bulb replacements tricky; I brought them the bulb and they took me aside, out of the long queue, and had it replaced in a couple minutes. I guess it's an alright place. But I have to tell the truth here - I had a bad time. Drove up looking for an oil change and THAT'S IT. Got a coupon off Groupon and all things were good until they started working on my car while I sat inside. Just chillin'. Then, the manager ran down the list of jobs they were going to do on my car. It ended up being around $85 when I just wanted the $40 oil change. We discussed this and he had his people halt the job and do the oil change with tire rotation and a couple other things included in the coupon. Kept telling the dude that all I wanted was the oil change and anything extra was just tiresome. In the end, I paid the $40, but it wasn't without a bunch of sweating. Thanks to the tire rotation, now my car drives bumpy. I took it to another tire place and had them re-do the rotation. No change. Whatever happened that day at Jiffy Lube threw my tires out of wack somehow and now I'm driving bumpy. Thought it was a broken belt on one of the tires, but no - the re-rotation kind of ruled that out. Yeah, an alright place. But dealing with them screwed me up. read more

We had our car inspected one day during lunch. They were very nice, good customer service, and were fairly quick. They didn't shut the hood all the way, so we had to stop to shut that, and they didn't leave the inspection sheet in the car as I had requested. Overall though, it was fine. read more

As much as I really enjoy the customer service at this location, when I got into my car after it was serviced for some reason all of the contents of my glove compartment had been emptied into my passenger seat and rather than my carpets being vacuumed, there were leaves and dirt present that did not exist before I brought my car in. I've never had a problem with the service at this location, and I've been several times while in town for work for oil changes and state inspections. My gripe is elsewhere. The waiting room is small and the TV is almost always VERY LOUD. DID YOU HEAR ME? Very loud. Granted, over time they've turned off news channels and put it onto mindless terrible shows. No one needs news 24 hours a day, JL. Especially since it's going to alienate one side of your customer base or the other. But why even have the idiot box in there? Who needs it? Remove it. I'd be OK if they left the volume off and ran Weather Nation or AccuWeather channels all the time. If someone is so mentally helpless that they have to have a TV on while they're waiting for a quick oil change, then they probably should be somewhere else. To top it off, the last time I was here a moron in the tiny waiting area was talking on his cell phone in speaker mode. So he was yelling into the phone while the person on the other end was on speaker. How stupid. One last thing about wait times: if you go at the end or the beginning of the month they'll be much busier because people wait until the last minute to get the state inspection. Mid month is often better. BTW, I think the state lets you get an inspection 90 days in advance. So don't be the last minute person. I give 3 stars because I hate the waiting area. There are benchs outside and I have used those, unless it is cold or raining. As noted, never a problem with service and I've learned to manage what they try to sell immediately. read more

Jiffy Lube not so jiffy yesterday. I waited an hour and 15 minutes for an oil change. When I finally get my car, the lady at the checkout gave me the receipt showing I got the signature service which includes topping off everything and vacuuming, etc... I said great and went to my car. Nothing was vacuumed. I was already running late, so I just was going to go on my way. Then I noticed they had not reset my computer, so my car said I still needed oil. I went back in and a man said he'd take care of that in two minutes. Ten minutes later, I finally leave, late picking up my kid. This morning I'm driving to work, and notice they didn't even close my hood all the way, so I have to pull over and do that for them too. All in all, it seems they are either SUPER DISTRACTED AND SLOW, or they just don't care. This has always been the place where I get my annual auto inspection. It goes well and I'm in and out quickly. But, I had a serious problem with a blown tire that because of the conditions in which I was driving, I was unable to get out of traffic before the blow out made a hot mess. After parking my damaged vehicle, I was able to walk to Jiffy Lube for advice. The manager was extremely helpful. The store ordered my new tire and it arrived early the next morning. I went in to have the temporary tire replaced. The technician advised me that the tire sensor was completely destroyed. In a matter of mere minutes Jiffy Lube had secured the necessary part and proceeded to complete the tire replacement project. The cost of the replacement was very reasonable. However, the friendliness of staff, professionalism and technical skill they exhibited were priceless. I recommend the Jiffy Lube location at Western Boulevard. Good people. Cheers. read more

BUT a few weeks ago my car was making funny sounds and I was due for an oil change, so I checked my oil and there was NOTHING IN THERE. What?! I put new oil in probably like 3 weeks ago now and I do NOT have a leak. Literally 99% sure they drained my oil then realized I wasn't getting an oil change? Strangely, this corporate oil change joint has some of the best customer service I have experienced (and I used to train people on how to give awesome customer service!) I went a few years ago for an inspection and I recalled feeling the same way. I went this time for a radiator flush. I was in and out in about 20 minutes and they used a coupon code that saved me $15 without me even asking. Super clean wait area with coffee, magazines, Wi-Fi, a television and restroom. He said there's a long line but he can't predict the future so couldn't even give me an estimated wait time if I arrived in 5 minutes! They certainly lost my business for my car inspection and I will not be going to this location for an oil change or other maintenance either. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I went to get my oil changed and tires rotated at jiffy lube yesterday. After an hour wait, they told me they didn't have the right wrench to change my oil. But they rotated my tires for me. I got on the interstate for about half an hour and could smell a chemically smell coming from the ac. I exited and stopped at a red light. While my foot was on the break, my engine was revving and the rpm gauge was going up and down. I pulled over and popped the hood. Oil was splattered everywhere and the oil cap was gone. Called a tow truck to take my car to a Volkswagen dealership because jiffy lube was already closed. Got my car cleaned at the VW dealership and they told me that the oil plug was damaged. Probably from when they tried to remove it. Jiffy lube let me leave knowing they damaged my car. I will never go to this company again. read more

I had an unpleasant experience at this location today... Usually I am in and out for my oil change, but today I was there for over an hour and a half. I was so frustrated. I have a fleet vehicle and as I was checking out, the lady told me that she contacted the fleet service and they said that they couldn't match my VIN to any of their vehicles.. What?? I've been to this location with the same vehicle probably 10 times keep in mind. Anyways, after probably another 30-45 minutes goes by of her being on the phone, she gives the phone to one of the guys working there. Come to find out she was reading the VIN # wrong. At this point I am thinking you have got to be kidding me.. They also don't ever fill my tires correctly. They told me they filled them all to 35 PSI, but my gauge in my car told me that only 1 of them had been filled. I'm pretty sure they just skip it every time. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I went in on 10/08/2018 for an oil change and wiper blades. I wound up also getting an AC filter as well. I waited over an hour. I looked and about 4 or so people were just standing around my car socializing. I finally am able to leave. I leave the lot and my oil light is on, and I thought it would turn off once I got going. About a mile down the road I called Jiffy Lube because it didn't cut off. They said they must've forgot to reset it and to come back. I specifically asked if my car was fine and they said yes. As I was about to turn around, my car manually cuts off in the turn lane of a busy intersection. I have to call a tow, and I called the store and notified them and said I'm not paying if it was caused by them. A man and the tow truck driver help and also check my oil. There was absolutely no oil in my car. I called Jiffy Lube and told them and took video documentation when I get to the store. I go to the store, and the women there were very nice and trying to help. I filed a claim. And I eventually was able to speak to Sam, district manager over this area. He said if I had any issues to not hesitate to call. I specifically made it clear that I would not be paying for any future damages caused by this since no oil can mess up your engine because there's no lubricant. He agreed and was helpful in solving the issue. However, I got no explanation as to how this place let me leave without oil, no one noticing, etc. when that was the primary reason for my visit. Timothy was the one on my receipt saying that he provided the service. Later that night, after driving less than 10 miles, I notice a constant clicking noise in my engine that seemed to be progressively getting worse. I called Jiffy Lube, and I spoke to Dominique. He was apologetic; however, he kept saying that customer service would contact me tomorrow or Wednesday. (I have an interview an hour and a half away in Winston Salem on Wednesday, 10/10/2018, and need a rental or my car fixed by then). So basically that was no help at all. So now here I sit at the Honda dealership on 10/09/2018. A part in my engine is messed up due to their negligence. The worker here has contacted the Jiffy Lube on Western and notified them of the issue and is waiting to hear from corporate. This should have been a simple oil change that resulted in extreme inconvenience and emotional distress for me. I would never recommend them to anyone. The only part that was nice is that they gave me a full refund, paid for the tow, and the workers I spoke to were extremely apologetic and realized they messed up. read more
