I hope I can find another place in my travels that treats me this well. They are always honest. I initially walked into this repair shop feeling like I could trust them. Frans was polite and…read moreexplained the process since I was going through my warranty company for an AC repair. They did a diagnostic on Tuesday confirming the AC issue (which another shop had already identified) and also mentioned an engine oil leak. One repair was covered by warranty and one wasn't. I approved the covered AC repair. By Saturday I hadn't heard anything, so I called. They said the repair was taking longer than expected because my car was giving them issues, but it should be ready Monday. On Monday they called saying they completed the covered repair but found another AC issue that wasn't in their original diagnostic. They said they'd cover the labor but we'd need to pay for the part. My partner looked up the part and found it was cheaper than what they quoted us. After some back and forth, he told them to just put the old part back on and we'd handle it ourselves. Then they called back saying they had already ordered the part and were finishing the repair. They eventually agreed we could just pay the lower price we found. We picked up the car and within 10 minutes it started throwing steering, Stabilitrak, and other warning lights that had NEVER been there before. When my partner called, it turned into a heated conversation and the shop called the police and tried to trespass him. I called myself and Frans admitted it sounded like something may have been done wrong on their end and said they would fix it, so we left the car there. The next day I called three times for updates and was repeatedly told the person I needed to speak with, Frans, wasn't available. When I finally went to pick up the car, Andrew (who I had spoke to three times that day) was the one that gave me my keys and briefly told me what was going on. He refused to explain what happened and told me they were "done going back and forth" with me and that I needed to leave or they would call the police again. The only explanation I was given was that a brake light switch needed calibration. We came in for an **AC issue with zero warning lights**, and left with a car suddenly showing steering and Stabilitrak warnings -- with two kids that ride in that vehicle. I've lived here almost 10 years and have never been treated like this at a repair shop. The whole situation became extremely unprofessional and shady, especially once we questioned the price of the part. If they truly plan to trespass on us, they've done me a favor because I would never come back here again and wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone, not even my worst enemy. The reviews previous to mine seem to validate my experience here and I wish I would've done more research prior to taking my car here. Do yourself a favor and heed the warnings.

It was a turn around trip and I need my alignment fixed ASAP! (Especially since my kids were with me). I was looking on yelp and came across this place! The staff was extremely helpful, and they made sure my wheels were fixed before I hit the road! The wait time was ridiculously fast- I love efficiency. There were a lot of cars there, a good sign they have the public's trust and man, do I understand why! With their great prices, exceptional service, nice conversation, and a job well done I HIGHLY recommend this shop! A 30$ oil change? Can't beat that! And alignment going from 59.99-69.99 it's affordable for even the tightest budgets! Look no further, these guys are trustworthy and honest (something hard to find in this industry).

I strongly advise against taking any vehicle to North Mountain Auto. On 04/08/2026, I brought my…read more1996 Ford Probe GT to this shop for a water pump replacement. Dashcam footage explicitly shows the vehicle running perfectly fine that morning while it was at another shop receiving an estimate. It was dropped off at North Mountain Auto two hours later. On 04/13/2026, the vehicle was pulled into their bay exhibiting no problems, yet it exhibited severe running issues immediately after their "repair." The vehicle was subsequently removed to a neutral third-party shop via a recorded and documented chain of custody on 04/27/2026, ensuring no claims of tampering could be made. Independent diagnostics have since confirmed catastrophic engine failure, including air passing through the piston rings and a 25% leakage around the exhaust valve on Cylinder 5. Far more concerning than the mechanical destruction is the actively documented fraud and attempted cover-up. Forensic dashcam video and telemetry data captured the shop engaging in billing fraud by charging for one type of product (Asian vehicle blue coolant) while explicitly using another. Furthermore, on 04/20/2026, approximately an hour before I arrived to pick up the vehicle, the mechanic is recorded stating to the front desk that he had already lost two days the prior week and five hours that current day on the car and was "done." Twenty minutes later, footage shows them manually overriding factory settings via the base idle set screw (BISS) in a deliberate attempt to hide over 30 documented engine stalls and doctor the vehicle just enough to collect payment. This override occurred on four separate occasions. Additionally, the intake plenum was removed. There is absolutely no reason for its removal during a water pump replacement other than assessing internal damage; it provides no extra room or access and is 100% unnecessary. Both the mechanic and the shop stated they hadn't "worked in that area," claiming the damaged wires and broken clips had nothing to do with their work, which the visual evidence explicitly contradicts. When the shop realized my dashcams automatically trigger upon movement or when the key is turned, they attempted to format the memory cards twice while the car was sitting in their bay: once on April 15th, and again after hours following a "stealth" repair on 04/22/2026. This constitutes direct spoliation of evidence to cover up their actions. When I reached out via text message, they immediately denied warranty coverage, blamed the car, and then blamed me. However, until this week, they had no knowledge that the dashcam footage was NOT actually deleted. If you're going to perform such acts, you may want to research the specific dashcam to know how to format it. Just saying. I have retained a 236GB forensic data drive documenting every action taken in their bay. Now that every legal and regulatory action has been filed and is underway, I am leaving my experience here to help prevent others from suffering the same fate. Do not trust this shop with your property. Billed $2282.49 for them to destroy the drivetrain.

They were mindful of the time I was working with to get it checked out (had to get my son from school that same day) and had it fixed in that time too. It cost the same for the fix as other places were charging just to diagnose the issue. I could tell immediately when I called that this was where I wanted to go because when I said the ac wasn't working, this was the first place to ask for context of what was going on. The other places I spoke to told me their (expensive) fee to diagnose. When I brought it in they offered a complimentary Lyft ride so I could wait at home. They texted me the repair details so I could approve it and then was able to come back just in time to get my son from school! I am so impressed at their kindness, honesty, process, and customer service! I rarely leave reviews but made a point to write this because they deserve it!
