Went in for an oil change and to get an inspection. Love that they actually took their time to show me everything that my truck needed in order to pass inspection even though they currently don't do inspections. They weren't pushy which is what I really liked, just very informative. They were also super quick on getting everything done that it needed and also applied coupons to my final bill so it would cost less. Would definitely go back read more

Those with car care knowledge may read on but don't blame me if you rock back and forth with your head in your hands. I know nothing of cars. I can tell you where something is under the hood but that's it. My Honda needed an oil chg. as it was down to 10% and the B13 light was on. My 60,000 mi. check and inspection was set a month away and this was a Sunday. I asked a friend if he thought I could just Jiffy Lube it as the week coming was busy. Sure, and yes it is on 112. I arrive and a service man greets me like he is the valet and my key is asked for. Now they have you so you can't peel off. Oil change please. A quote is given, but I am in luck at it is discounted to $31.00. Now, they have you all happy. I took the deal, but I was thinking twenty sounds better. I am escorted to the lounge...six seats and as cold as a polar bears rear. I am told of all the free extras, vac, clean windows, ck of lights, etc. I yawn. Who needs that? Then oops, my transmission fluid needs topped off, no, make that replaced. $149.00. No, I say and he gives me a discount. I ask, "Is that why the B13 notice light was on?" He says, "Yes!"....say it with me, and that was... "uh lie, yes, uh lie". I Googled it at home and it means oil chg is due. Why he outta get kicked in the dangles for that. All the fluids were checked w/o my being told. They pulled my interior filters without my knowledge. The quote was $20 for one interior filter and $69 for the other. I said, $50 for both and then OK. I had one changed at Honda in the past to the tune of $50. I get $10 back with a rebate on the oil...well, almost. You have to mail the original receipt and get it done at Jiffy. Tossed that away. Sure, I should have taken the oil change and walked...but would that really be possible with these men on the hunt under my hood? I should know more about my car. Was I taken? I am still unsure but probably yes. Two cabin filters, transmission fluid and svc, oil, oil filter... Total $215.00 w/o the taxes. Don't cry for me Argentina. I had been going though a lot with a cancer scare for two friends, the death of a cousin's husband, the death of my best friend's husband, death of a cousin my age, my mother's death, and all in a four week span. Cars, what does it matter? I would still like to know if my wallet was lubed? I feel so dirty. read more

ABSOLUTE THIEVES!!!! There are much better places to give business to out there. They are way over priced and don't have any reason to be. They will take advantage of the first person they see. Avoid Jiffy Lube at all costs. $56 for a standard oil change. Never again. I can get synthetic for the same price. read more

My girlfriend recently had her oil changed here. Afterwards she all of a sudden had an oil leak. Long story short I obviously assumed they caused the leak. I was very upset to say the least. The manager Joe there went out of his way to diagnose the problem and assured me if they caused the leak the would fix it regardless of cost. Anyway turns out the leak wasn't caused by them. I could clearly see the leak was caused by prior damage and poorly repaired. When they changed the oil the crappy repair failed to no fault of their own. The manager went above and beyond and fixed the damage with no cost to us not to mention draining and refilling oil a few times to figure out the problem. I am truly impressed with this manager. He was polite, concerned and generous. It was a shock for me to deal with an individual like this in this day an age. I was so anti Jiffy Lube anywhere till my girlfriend went here against my wishes initially. Now I would go out of my way to change my oil here. Very impressed. Thank you Joe. Went to Jiffy Lube last minute with my dad before I had to drive all the way to Buffalo, these guys did an oil change, changed my car's fluids, and did a rain-x treatment to my windshield which worked great traveling upstate in the snow!! They did such a great job with my oil change!!!!!!!! They were really nice guys with awesome service (especially Joe Jorlando) and know what theyre doing. I needed a rad flush they did both for a great price even vacuumed and filled up my fluids up. If they run out before my next oil change they offered to refill it for free. So I Brought my oil from pep boys because I was going to do it myself but then the jack I was using wasn't good enough and I was really upset because when I do go to a shop to get an oil change they always take forever, I never once had a fast service but anyhow I went to Walmart in islandia first but they were only doing tires due to lack of employees and told me to go to Mavis next door so I went but they had just closed so now I was frustrated and went to jiffy lube and thought that they were going to take forever like any other shop but I was shocked to see that I was out within 20 mins :)) I am Definitely going to come here from now on!
