Wow! This auto body shop was a lifesaver to my fiancé. The day before (Saturday) the snowstorm my fiancés car started to smoke/steam from the hood. Being a Saturday, not many shops were open. I used Yelp, and found this place. Not only were the reviews great, but they were open! My fiancé called, explained his current issue and the lovely gentleman on the phone took his name and told him to bring it in! He brought his car in and they told him they probably won't be able to get to it today due to closing in a few hours, but would try and then with the incoming storm it would probably be Tuesday. Not a problem at all! After I picked him up after he dropped his car off he said the gentleman behind the counter was very nice! Fast forward to Tuesday morning (due to the storm, didn't open Monday) they told him they couldn't find anything wrong or a reason for the smoke/steam. They stated they looked it over, drove it, had it run and still couldn't find anything. They also repaired another issue that a previous mechanic quoted him over $2k to fix for about $500. My fiancé was and is very happy with the service he received on his car. He stated he will now bring both of our cars here for all of our car needs! read more

I needed brakes and I needed them bad. I haven't been to a mechanic in a minute because my husband use to do most of the maintenance on our cars. Due to various reasons he is unable to do this now. This is one of the things about adulting I hate--dealing with car stuff. So when I called Arthur's Auto and got Chris on the phone for I was immediately thrown for a loop because for the first time I didn't hate the fact that I had to deal with this situation. Not only was he accommodating, even with me being a first time customer, but he didn't make me feel car stupid or anything. I ended up paying $235 for an oil change plus added costs of cabin and engine filters and rear wipers. I should have said no in hindsight after seeing that they charged 30 dollars each for the wiper and two filters. The owner was nice, but I couldnt help but feel a little taken advantage of my age and inexperience. I mean it was my first car, and I said yes to the charges, but now I got to really budget the rest of my living expenses. They seem like good folks and I should have just said no to the additional findings. I didn't even mention the brake squealing because I'm scared how much they will charge or maybe this is just the industry standard. read more

Chris and Artie are the best. We broke down on the way to hosting a bridal shower. In true NASCAR pit stop style, they quickly removed our tire, repaired the hole and had us on our way in time to set up for our guests. What more can you say? Unbeatable customer service. They were good to accommodate me last minute for an inspection. It turns out I needed 2 replacement tires in order to pass. They assured me that the tires would be in by Friday. I told them I'd be in on Saturday morning. Well, Arthur's called me on Friday night at 6:30 pm to tell me that the tires are backordered until Monday. That's beyond the deadline for inspection. They could have been honest with me instead of assuring me the tires would be installed in time. They did nothing to resolve the issue and blamed their vendor. This left me having to scramble this afternoon. I could have gone anywhere, but took them on their word. Very unprofessional. It's 12 noon on a Saturday now, Pathetic. read more

A honest thorough mechanic is a hard thing to find. But if you go here: you've found them. I have been bringing my various vehicles here for 10 years or so, for everything: oil changes, weird noises, brakes, etc. I always feel like I've never been "ripped off", and the things they fix, STAY fixed!
