They never reset my oil life gauge (a minor thing, but c'mon man, you're supposed to reset it) and no sticker for my next visit. Went for an oil change and the woman comes out holding an absolutely filthy engine air filter asking if I'd like to buy a new one as mine was in bad shape. I declined and bought one on Amazon because it's much, much cheaper and a 10sec swap. I received my new Amazon filter today and go to install it... my air filter is absolutely fine. They must have a wrecked air filter on the shelf that they bring out to customers to convince them to buy a new one. read more

The customer service here is absolutely terrible. I went in today, and when they opened the second gate, there was a van already parked at the first gate. I thought the lady was signaling me over, so I started slowly driving up to the second gate. Instead of just politely asking me to back up, one of the employees ran out shaking his head, saying, "Come on, man! Nah!" and the other started yelling, "Back up, man! Back up!!!" I was completely confused, so I backed up, and then they just ignored me and didn't bother explaining what the problem was. The whole thing could've been handled so much better with a simple, polite request. I was treated like I wasn't even worth their time. On December 31, the day after I filed a complaint with the Jiffy Lube headquarters in Texas, the Patchogue district manager Kenya Fleming contacted me. Mr. Fleming explained that a red tamper seal is routinely placed around the drain plug after an oil change and that was noted on my receipt. Mr. Fleming promised to reimburse me in full for the new drain plug and oil pan that Hyundai put in. Although I have not yet received the check, I am restoring the number of stars to five. read more

The $116 price tag for an oil change with no additional services seemed too expensive for the most basic option. When I asked for a receipt they told me it would be emailed to me. I went in on 6/18/24 and paid $140.09 total for their signature service synthetic oil change for my Ram 1500. A few days later I looked under my truck and the oil filter on the engine had the date 9/27/23 written on it in sharpie (the date they last changed my oil). They never changed the filter even though it was included and I paid for it. I guess I have to go back to changing my oil myself. Word to the wise, watch these guys. read more

I always had a multi-purpose knife under my rug, it also served to break glass in emergency... TWICE at Jiffy Lube they stole it! Came here for an oil change. Had never been to a jiffy lube before. Turned into a narrow driveway with several cars in front of me. Since it was my first time I had no clue how it worked. I came here for a simple oil change because I needed to get it done right away. This is a walk in type of place and they took my car in within 5 minutes which was great. First of all the fact that the oil change was over $100 is absolutely outrageous to me but I was in a rush so I had no other options so that's my fault. Once the car was in the shop one of the employees called me into the shop and told me that I need front brakes and gave me a quote for the job. I had literally just done my front brakes 3 months prior and I know for a fact that they did not need to be done. When I told the employee that they just went quiet and had nothing to say. If you feel like getting taken advantage of and feel like being used like a piece of toilet paper I highly recommend that you go to this place of business. You should be ashamed of this jiffy lube I can guarantee you that this was my first and absolute last time at your establishment. I understand people need to make a profit but taking advantage of people, we'll that is just wrong. I can only imagine how many other people they have done this to and succeeded. If I could give them a zero rating, I would. They took advantage of my 19 year old daughter. She told them no synthetic oil handed them a sticker from the previous oil change. Giovanni the manager told me when I called him later that she never told him that and acted like they were doing her a favor by putting in High mileage oil at a "cheaper price". Her 2006 Hyundai has 68,000 miles on it. I have a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder that has 160,000 miles on it and I use regular oil. This guy was so condescending to me personally because I am a woman I don't know what I'm talking about. Terrible experience. An employee drove our car through the bay window messing up the hood and whole front of the owned car. Two weeks later and the manager Delroy and distract manager Kenny have done nothing after we did what they said. They told us to get 3 quotes and they would fix it. Not only have they not fixed it but we now have one car because their employee hit the gas instead of the brake. I went there to confront Delroy again the other day and the employee who drove it through the door is still working. Kenny the "district manager" basically said mistakes happen and the claims department will call me. Still no call and now Kenny is ignoring me. I will never take my car here again. I brought my car in for an oil change because the dealer couldn't fit me in. 2 days later I had dropped my car off at a body shop for a fender bender. The shop noticed oil leaking from my car. Upon inspection, found out that my oil filter was never changed. The manager from jiffy that went down to inspect my vehicle told the body shop I may have giving them the filter since it was a Toyota filter. OK, here is an honest review of the Jiffy Lube on Rt.112 in Patchogue. I brought my vehicle here for the first time, because Indy3000 Fast Lube closed a few hours earlier, I really needed an oil change and Jiffy Lube was open on a Sunday until 6pm. Great! So, I pull up, and I seem to wait for quite a bit while I'm overhearing the employees trash talk each other and seem very unorganized on what to do next. I felt a little uncomfortable. A team leader eventually had to tell one of the workers to finish up the car in the bay before taking on another. It just seemed like this was not a "well oiled machine". Oh, that's a bad joke. OK, so after waiting for like 10 or more minutes in the car, they finally take my keys and ask me questions about the vehicle. I felt like I was volunteering at a BOCES Workshop as a pretend customer. This is how inexperienced the staff seemed. I was escorted as some sort of "king" to the waiting room. I appreciate the good manners, but it just seems gimmicky and fake. In the waiting room, I was greeted by 6 badly worn out black chairs which were disgusting and total eyesores. As a major chain, invest in new furniture when it gets like this. Hell-ooo? This furniture should be brought right to the curb. Lame. Anyway, the TV was on, the A/C was on, and I spent some time with a couple other blokes who obviously had no knowledge of cars based on how they acted. OK, whatever, not everyone knows about cars, so we trust these guys, right? A-hem, no. At least 15 minutes after being in the waiting room, nearly 45 minutes after I pulled up, I was finally done. So much for a Jiffy Lube... Probably could have changed the oil myself faster. I went to pay, and even that was not smooth. They are using an old-school DOS computer setup, the printer was giving issues so it took a bit to get my receipt. I'm sorry, but this place is a joke. If you want speed and quality in the area, head over to Indy3000 Fast Lube. They are much more organized. All these places will try to sell you as much as possible (cabin filters, air filters, whatever) but you have to expect that. I brought my 2018 car to get an oil change instead of dropping it off at the dealer or mechanic. Wow was that a mistake! After bringing my car in, the very next day, my oil and check engine light came on. I called jiffy lube and they said come back. I went back in and they said was probably bad timing and that it wasnt them who caused a problem. I asked why is the oil light on after i was just here yesterday? They didnt have an answer. I then made an appt with my dealership. They told me whoever did your oil change did everything wrong which caused alot of problems. Jiffy lube has cost me hundreds of dollars in damage. I will NEVER ever go to jiffy lube again. The dealer also told me this isnt the first time this happened to people. Been coming to this Jiffy Lube for years. Staff is always courteous and helpful. Always felt the staff is honest in their recommendations. If they feel I need something they recommend if not they tell me when I should do the service in question. Waiting area is clean. Only slight issue would be sometimes the wait time can be lengthy.
