Today was no exception.....Even though the employees change overtime, each visit they are always welcoming, highly personable, explaining everything, and reasonably priced!!! Dan the service manager was absolutely outstanding today.....He definitely went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the work on my vehicle. I was very appreciative for that kind gesture. Mostly they keep the lines of communication open, act in a professional manner, and don't try to take advantage of me. Just had two tires and an alignment done. The two gentleman behind the desk were very polite and professional. The waiting room is very large and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. If you're waiting for your vehicle there is a Dunkin Donuts, Burger King, McDonald's and a Taco Bell all within walking distance. I used to go to Mavis for tires. No more Mavis for me. read more

Shawn Kaufman is hands down the most trusted car shop manager I've ever met in my life. I experienced a rear tire blowout on a trip from CT to NY. Although Coram Firestone shared they didn't carry the brand of tire I needed on my Volvo, Shawn advised me that for safety reasons, "there was no way he was letting me drive back to CT with the spare (a mini donut) I had in my trunk." Shawn went out of his way to locate my specific brand of tire, got it in the shop same day (which even my Volvo dealership couldn't do), and installed it. Shawn definitely has the Coram Firestone team set up like a fine-tuned machine. The work was completed quickly. In the short time I waited; I observed a great deal of professionalism, knowledge, and respect toward incoming clients from Shawn and team. Always great to witness. Thank you Coram Firestone. Outstanding shop and service. I called them up and they gave me a bunch of helpful information on what I was looking to do with my car and tires. I mostly needed a tire rotation and some balance work and they gave me a fantastic price and were able to accommodate me the next day. Sean was really friendly and helpful and just an overall good guy. It was also easy to use my FIRESTONE card even though I didn't have it on hand. It was an easy location to get to. This location was clean and well-maintained. This is my second FIRESTONE service in the past couple months and FIRESTONE is definitely doing a great job with prices, service and convenience. read more

Not being very knowledgeable about anything to do with cars, I brought in my Nissan Rogue today for a new tire. The staff greeted me promptly and broke down everything I needed to know for the job. I had a few questions prior on the phone and they were very patient and helpful with answering all my questions. I have been using this store for several years. As a woman going for auto repair its very hard to trust that a shop is being honest. A few years ago I went to a mechanic shop for a noise in my car. They told me I needed a whole bunch of front end work and quoted over $2000 and needed to keep my car a few days. I went for a second opinion at Goodyear Coram and a few hours later new brakes and a couple $100 the noise was gone. I have had Alessandro help me many times. I brought my car here just to get an oil change. I found out that my front brakes and rotors were completely shot and my wheels were completely out of alignment. Of course I agreed to have the work done and it was all completed in one day! The gentleman at the front, I think his name was Jon, was so nice and attentive and explained everything to me so that I would easily understand the repairs that were being done and the final cost (which did not seem like a lot). I would highly recommend this repair shop and I will be returning for future repairs/maintenance. The inside was very clean and looked like it was newly renovated. read more

Ive brought my vehicles here a few times for oil changes and inspections. So far those experiences were good. Service is fast, courteous and don't seem overpriced. More importantly the service manager doesn't come back with "discovered" problems. Will come back for service needs. read more

Took my car here for a tire issue, they "looked" at it for no more than 5 minutes and said I need a new rim...which would be about $180!!! I say no since they didn't have the rim there (and I didn't completely trust them...) I took my car to the dealer and they said it was my valve stem, which is $34.95 patch with labor! read more

gimme a break! i went there for a window problem! they told me it would be $119 just to look at it! are you kidding me? he said they have to charge an hours labor! now i'm sure they do good work,but that is ridiculous! ps----i took my car to a competitor just down the road! not only did he not charge me for looking at it,but he fixed it for free!! it was a minor problem that took him only a few minutes!! read more
