They saw me coming a mile away. I went in for a regular oil change this past Saturday February 7th. They told me I needed new brake pads and rotors and brake fluid. Told me I should get it done that day. I let them know I would hold off because I was taking my car into my regular mechanic on Wednesday. He said I could even pay ahead of time and come in another day to get it all done. I just spoke with my regular mechanic and he said I still have 6-12 months left on my pads and my rotors and brake fluid were fine. Now I don't plan on going there any longer for my oil changes. I just have to take a moment to write about the absolutely fantastic service that I received at this Jiffy Lube from Greg, Garcia, Kendra, and Justin who was kind enough to drive me home in his own car so I that would not have to wait there for hours while the work was being done on my car. I went three times over the course of 5 days for additional work and each time, the entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Not to mention, my car purred like a kitten when the work was done AND I saved nearly a thousand dollars having the work done by Jiffy Lube instead of at the dealership. I arrived to Jiffy Lube at 945 on Sunday, 15 minutes before theu opened. One gentleman arrived before me and pulled up to the one garage door so I pulled up to the second one. The mechanics opened up promptly at 10 and started greeting customers. I told the mechanic I needed an oil change and tire pressure checked since my light recently came on. I then proceeded to the lobby to wait. The lobby is small but clean. It has seven comfy chairs, a restroom, a complimentary coffee station and free wifi. Mindy greeted everyone and pointed out the amenities and encouraged us to let her know if she needed anything. Quite honestly,I have never encountered such a friendly and accommodating employee at a business such as Jiffy Lube. The mechanic called me out to do a quick service review. I was given the options and pricing for four different oils. Of course, I had to phone my husband because I have no idea what I was doing. I like that they do this because you know the price before they get going. I was asked if I needed anything else such as wipers but I was happy that they didn't push a million other services on me (even though I know my car probably has a bunch of crap wrong with it). When it came time to pay, I had a 20% off coupon that I received when I checked in on Yelp. There was no issue using that discount and Mindy double checked to see if I qualified for any other discounts as well. After paying, she walked me out to my vehicle and put the little sticker in the corner of my windshield so I know when my next service should be. The service was spectacular overall. Took my car to this location for a brake job. I was pressed for time but was told it would take an hour. As it turned out, they did not have the correct tools to work on my car. When I returned, they were waiting for someone to bring the tool from another location. He brought the tool and needed to go back and get an additional tool. Three hours later they said they can't do the job. I told the manager that they made me miss an appointment and wasted three hours of my time. I think you owe me an offer of compensation. He replied, "we don't owe you nothing". That's the level of customer service you can expect there. read more

Worst service ever from Jimmie was called a liar by this employee when I went ousltside to smoke while waiting for my oil change he says and I quote "what he thinks we're gonna steal something from his car " I come here all the time both of my cars but this is the last time I will ever come here. I really enjoyed my experience here. The service was quick and incredibly professional. They gave a quick run through of recommended services per the manufacturers standards and didn't pressure me to move forward with anything, though they did offer a discount when I considered one thing. They aired up the tires and pretty sure I even saw them vacuuming the inside of my vehicle. That's legit in my book. I also love that I can check in for a 20% off coupon! I usually like to stay in my car for this type of service but the inside area was so nice that I didn't mind being in the air conditioned area vs sitting in my car while they do the oil change service. read more

It's perfectly par for the course. It's Jiffy Lube - they changed my oil, so mission accomplished. The inside is clean and the woman at the front desk was nice enough. They do the thing where they bring the customer into the bay and show them all the things that are wrong with their car. I'm not a fan of high-pressure sales tactics in general, especially when I just want my oil changed. I get that they have to go through everything, but I don't appreciate the disapproving looks when I say I don't what the $600 deluxe extra special whatever. Just change the oil and let me be on with my day. I also got annoyed when he refused to change the sticker mileage. He put it on there as needing another change in 5k miles, but the owner's manual and my experience with the car say it'll need to be done in 7.5k. Nope, has to be in 5k according to the sticker. Look, I get that I'm not as car savvy as I probably should be, but I've got the basics. Just treat me like an adult instead of a disappointing teenager is all I ask. read more

I decided to bring my car here after the lovely way Mindy answered the phone. Why a refreshing, bright, and positive attitude. I listened to her responses to questions asked of her both from customers and employees. She was very nice always with a thoughtful response. You should pay her more or she will be hired out from under you by someone else. BTW... I just met her today and no relation. Also, Justin, who took care of the car and cashing out was absolutely fantastic. No problem with using a coupon as others suggest in their reviews. I had a fantastic experience. I usually take my car to Antwerpen Hyundai in Catonsville for oil changes and even have 2 free ones left but my son was visiting and needed one also. So we went here. Again. This review refers to the Jiffy Lube in Glen Burnie by the Ford/Hyundai dealership. The quality of oil is poor based on my last three visits to that location. It's like dirty water and dissipates after 1000 miles. I got my personal mechanic to change my oil and had no problems. I will not return to that location ever again. This is the first time I've used Jiffy Lube to get an oil change. My daughter told me the Pasadena Jiffy Lube was great! I now agree -- The service was fast, fair priced and the men there could not have been nicer! There are so many addt'l services they perform as part of the oil change - like vacuuming your car, checking your tire pressure and fluids. I would highly recommend them!! read more

I called about brake service and was told to come in within 30 minutes. When I arrived, I was told to come back the next day. I arrived the next day, and they handled the brakes and oil change. I was away and had my sister pick up my car. She got it home(not far) and said it was making a ton of noise on the drivers side, but they said the brakes would make noise. When I got home, I looked and saw the brakes and rotors were new and decided to give it a test drive. Shortly thereafter, the front, driver's wheel fell off because they put the lugnuts on without tightening them. THANKFULLY my sister made it home safely and I was not on a damn highway when the wheel fell off the car. The brakes worked, but sloppy in not tightening the wheel to the car. I can not explain how lucky I was that I was not going fast or in a ton of traffic when this happened. read more

Came 10:25am on a Sunday and they already had 4 cars in line. When driving, pull into the shopping center with the Bob Evans; you can't get to the shop right from the highway. By 10:50, the waiting room was packed, and I had the pleasure of hearing someone talk about the prices as "highway robbery". I checked online for coupons, but you can't pull them up on an iPhone. Luckily, the guy could look them up, and I saved $12 on the oil change and cabin filter. Even without the $5 off for the oil change, it is comparable to Valvoline except Jiffy Lube vacuums which is pretty great. They had me out of there before 11:00, and couldn't have been nicer when I spilled coffee all over the floor. Bonus- come here if you also have stuff to donate. Everything was tidy and clean, staff was friendly and the oil change was fast- but somehow they damaged a three week old tire on my car, it went flat on my ride home and because I drove it on while flat, now I need a new tire and am out a car tomorrow. Awful. read more

I've been here on multiple occasions. Staff is friendly but the work is shoddy. Each visit has gotten worse. One customer service rep is a good guy. I watched another inform people including my gf thier fluids were empty, transmission fluid, anti freeze, etc. Quite the coincidence everyone waiting in the shop had empty fluids. Anyways, they informed my gf her anti freeze was empty, we declined. Took it elsewhere and the antifreeze was not empty and the other place even filled the little bit that eas needed for free. Also only had one type of Synthetic Oil on hand which was of course pricier. I wouldn't trust a shop that lies. Don't think anyone else should either. Never again. read more

Oil changes are best done yourself. I don't believe you should pay for something as easy as changing oil. Also you save money and you get better quality oil and filter. This one time I wasn't able to so I came here. They use bulk oil so the quality is not very good. The filter was generic brand too. It was expensive but nice and easy. The line wasn't long and the workers are nice and clean. I probably won't be going back but the business is good. read more
