I brought my vehicle in for substantial rear-brake work involving new brake drums, wheel bearings, brake components, hardware, and the related parts needed to properly complete the repair. Instead of telling me to leave the vehicle for several days before a technician could even begin, they started working on it immediately. That is the remarkable part of their business model. They provide the urgency people expect from a quick-service operation, but they are capable of performing serious and complex mechanical repairs. When additional parts were needed, they were able to obtain them from nearby suppliers extremely quickly. In one instance, the replacement drums arrived in roughly 15 minutes, and the technicians continued the repair without unnecessary delay. I also observed other customers arriving with automotive problems and saw the same sense of urgency: diagnose the problem, obtain what is needed, and get to work. There was no attitude of, "Leave it here and maybe we will get to it in a few days." The young leadership and technicians work with tremendous tenacity. If a repair requires another component, another adjustment, or another step, they keep moving forward until the vehicle is properly repaired. I did not have to stand over anyone or repeatedly ask whether the related components were being addressed. They handled the repair comprehensively. Many dealerships and traditional repair shops can keep a vehicle for several days simply because it is waiting in line before anyone begins working on it. He tried to sell me vehicles with issues which he knew about and tried to pull one over on me. He moved to the high rent district and left his honesty at his prior location. I have used Miller's twice and their honesty is the best I have ever experienced. I am most impressed with this father son business. I highly recommend this business. Please use these people and reward their kindness and honesty. They will treat you fairly and both of them are good decent people. I will use them for all of my future automotive repairs.

If you let them do their job and they give you a quote , you have e the choice to do it or don't. I've worked on diesel trucks for a majority of my life and newer gas vehicles are just not my thing. I took my 2012 Tahoe here for an accelerator position sensor problem. When reviewing it they told me the voltage correlation was off and that's what was causing the code, the suggested fix per their research and mechanic was to swap the pedal with a new sensor in. Did that and the code came back, but you know what I didn't do? Whine about it . I came back and talked with the service advisors. They rolled the previous diag cost in to another diag. Eventually after a lot of digging , and even breaking out an oscilloscope they found the problem was 2 pins in the connector to the computer not passing signal correctly. They re-pinned the bad pins and I haven't had a problem since. Since then they have done a full exhaust on this vehicle, and update to my corvette, a full exhaust, brakes, parking brake, boost tubes and intercooler, and headlight install on my f250, custom exhaust on my Cadillac. Not to mention countless odds and ends on these vehicles. If you think you know better than a person who does this work on what your car needs, do it yourself. You have the option to ignore any suggested maintenance they suggest. You also have an option to work with them and identify priority items. Here's a great example, the turbo in my f250 is going to eventually ceap the bed. When working on it they discovered oil in the charge pipe which is a tell tale sign that oil is getting passed through the turbo and. Collecting in the charge pipe. Diagnoses says replace the turbo. However I asked ... how much time do I have ? How bad is it? Knowing damn well the answer as I previously stated .... I've worked in diesels for years. They said depending on use it could be 6 months or two years. They also said that if it fails it will ruin the motor. They are correct on all of those statements. Turbos aren't cheap, the labor associated with a turbo change is t cheap because the process states to lift the cab off the frame ... so I developed a plan. I got the part number they suggested for. Remanufactured turbo, and a new o e m replacement. I started pricing it out and found what I wanted is an upgrade. They are set to do the upgrade in the near future. They didn't try and swindle me or upsell me on ball joints or something I didn't need. Now I have a level of trust in them to even do upgrades to my vehicles as requested. Again I can't say this enough... car maintenance is not cheap. If you get it cheap you will have more problems. If you ignore suggested maintenance and don't at least ask if something is critical to the safety and function of your vehicle ....you are going to have a bad time. You have options, we are in America . If you think you know better , can do better , or are being oversold .... Do the work yourself. This is skilled trade work not swiping groceries over a barcode scanner.

My car's been making a horrible high pitched whirring sound for the last 3 years (?). While I knew it was the power steering pump was the cause, I just left it since it wasn't too big of a deal, just had to keep filling the power steering fluid a lot but other than that sound, it was fine. One of my best friends used to do all my car work for me before this but since he is no longer around I was at a loss of who to go to. My dad's neighbor (hey, Mr. Foster) recommended Hondamans. Patrick is on top of his customer game, returning calls, keeping you updated on the car status and what kind of additional work your car might need. I never felt pressure to do any of the additional work, if anything, he told me it was all just superficial/cosmetic stuff and wouldn't move forward with it if he was me. I had my car back in less than 3 days and it sounds like new. Air was getting into the pump so it did have to be replaced and now, no more stiff steering wheel, crazy noises, or overflowing fluid.
