Well, I had a feeling it was because I needed an oil change and I was right. I got to the business early. I was greeted by a pleasant young man who asked what service I wanted today, to which I replied, oil change. He told me to leave the keys in the ignition that he would take it from there and proceeded to lead me to the waiting area. Once in the waiting area, a really pleasant man at the counter asked me what type of oil change I wanted and also asked me if I had any coupons. I told him yes (FYI: go online to Jiffy Lube to obtain the lasted coupon) and presented it on my phone. He then told me I was really low on oil and that could do damage to the timing mechanism on my car. He then went on to tell me about there "top off" service where I could come in for the next three months and have my fluid levels, including oil, topped off complimentary and have my level monitored for any future issues. They do many different vehicle services as well. I was in and out within 25 minutes. All in all a decent business to come and get a quick oil change.

Communication was too notch and they showed up right on time as scheduled, they knocked the job out in 90 min to my satisfaction. Did I pay a nice chunk of change for labor Yes!, but for me it was worth it as I had failed time and time again. You don't pay at times for the time that was worked but for the experience they have. I accepted and received confirmation. * No one showed up at 12:45 PM either. * I continued calling and leaving messages over the next couple of hours with no response. * I ultimately left around 3:00 PM after waiting several hours. * The first time I was contacted by a real person was moments after posting a review, and the call was argumentative rather than focused on resolving the issue. Additional context (prior service): * The week prior, I had them work on two different vehicles. * One vehicle was repaired correctly. * The second vehicle only worked for a couple of hours before the issue returned. * I planned to have that second vehicle looked at again during this scheduled visit. * During that prior service: * The technician arrived approximately 3 hours late. * Even though they knew in advance they would be replacing an oxygen sensor, they did not bring the proper tools and had to leave to purchase the correct socket before completing the job. * No test drive was performed afterward to verify the repair. Key issue: This is not about job authorization. It is about: * Missed appointments * Lack of communication * No ability to reach a human representative * Inconsistent service execution and preparation Conclusion: If you rely on timely service, proper preparation, and the ability to communicate with a real person, this was not my experience. Firestone said thorough inspection was done and I needed brake calipers and new brake pads and charged above $1000.00. Reported no change in the noise next morning and was asked to drive for a week to observe any change. No change in noise. Then vehicle was re-inspected, now suddenly it was the wheel bearing that was loose and needed fixing for over $500.00. If thorough inspection was done and loose bearing missed, at initial wheel take down, loose bearing ought to have been seen and I should have been advised there and then. Advisor initial said technician on duty does not repair bearing only to catch herself and tried hopelessly to explain the miss. HORIBLE WORK AT MY SECOND FIRESTONE SITE. Wheel and tire experts cannot even diagnose loose wheel bearing. DISGRACEFUL.

It still took them three days with minimal communication and maybe I'm just bitter but I am very surprised the unretired general manager (Mr. Kenny, if you're wondering who it is) never contact me again to see why I was frustrated about the length of time it was taking. Or to see if the problem was finally resolved. Or to see if I'd change my reviews. So, I am happy to report they honored the warranty but I would never recommend these guys unless you're desperate.
