Instead of telling me to leave the vehicle for several days before a technician could even begin, they started working on it immediately. That is the remarkable part of their business model. They provide the urgency people expect from a quick-service operation, but they are capable of performing serious and complex mechanical repairs. When additional parts were needed, they were able to obtain them from nearby suppliers extremely quickly. In one instance, the replacement drums arrived in roughly 15 minutes, and the technicians continued the repair without unnecessary delay. I also observed other customers arriving with automotive problems and saw the same sense of urgency: diagnose the problem, obtain what is needed, and get to work. There was no attitude of, "Leave it here and maybe we will get to it in a few days." The young leadership and technicians work with tremendous tenacity. If a repair requires another component, another adjustment, or another step, they keep moving forward until the vehicle is properly repaired. I did not have to stand over anyone or repeatedly ask whether the related components were being addressed. They handled the repair comprehensively. Many dealerships and traditional repair shops can keep a vehicle for several days simply because it is waiting in line before anyone begins working on it. Grease Monkey has created something different: bring the vehicle in, get the repair started, obtain the necessary parts quickly, complete the mechanical work, and get the customer back on the road. A pleasant young man greeted me, asked what was the purpose of my visit (oil change), and escorted me to the waiting area. The editing area had comfy chairs, a vending machine, water cooler, and TV. My oil change was times was less than 30 minutes. The staff at the counter were pleasant and applied my discounted coupon, which was a great value as it made my cost go down a bit. I dropped off my car and I always get a little uneasy at auto shops cause you feel like you're vulnerable but my experience was amazing. I checked in and waited in the lobby. They have free water, snacks and coffee. They came up to me shortly after and said that my sensor wasn't working and there was no pressure on getting it replaced. They said it would cost about $200 to fix and it actually was the price I was expecting if that was the issue. I just didn't want to pay that for a sensor. And the mechanic told me that he doesn't blame me. I asked how much it would be and he said nothing. They even adjusted my tire pressure since some were off due to filling it with air at the gas stations and they aren't the most accurate. I really wasn't expecting this kind of service and would come back to this place in the future for services to my vehicle. Awesome place!

They offer a convenient after-hours drop-off box, a nice waiting area, and a location right off a major beltway. I was also impressed by how clean and well-maintained the parking lot and repair facility were. With over 35 years in business, they clearly have an established presence in the community. My main concern was the cost of diagnostics and repairs. I was quoted approximately $900 for diagnostics and the recommended work, with individual diagnostic charges ranging from about $160-$200 (see attached estimate). After getting additional estimates, I found a local garage that was able to complete ALL the repairs for about the same price as Caton Auto Clinic's original quote. Since my son's car was older, the repair cost was approaching the overall value of the vehicle, so I had to carefully consider whether the expense made sense. I understand that quality service and experienced technicians come at a cost, but I recommend asking for a detailed estimate and clarifying all diagnostic fees upfront before authorizing any work. I also noticed their billboard advertising a $79.99 oil change, which seems like a great deal in today's market! Overall, Caton Auto Clinic has a lot of positives, including friendly customer service, a clean facility, and a convenient location , coffee area . If I had a newer car, I would absolutely consider using them. For an older vehicle, however, I would recommend comparing estimates first to make sure the cost of repairs is worthwhile.
