Alex the manager turned this visit around. Although a busy shop I was not greeted correctly at the start and was confused where to go there was no sign to stop before the racks where they fix your car. The attendant didn't fully address me and failed to communicate instructions properly. I was confused. When I went to far and almost hit my car. Another attendant kept yelling at me repeatedly to back up this distracted me from focusing. This really was not a good start. I apologized I heard him wrong however he escalated the interaction and did not even admit any fault. I would think in terms of health and safety If the bay was left unattended There should have a small rope or sign so cars know where to wait. Both attendants tried to refuse my business telling me to o go somewhere else. Stunned I did ask for The manager. Alex was called and totally de escalated the situation and made me have confidence in my car was going to be responsibly served at their business. I waited patiently and he did the service himself. Thank you for listening and understand my initial frustration. Not sure if I would go again but this negative customer service situation was turned around by Alex. Thank you. The guys who work here are awesome! They are honest, do a good thorough job and highly efficient. I always go here for an oil change but they make sure that I am up to date with other aspects of my car maintenance whether it be replacing filters, rotating tires, replacing spark plugs, etc. An oil change usually takes 35 minutes if they aren't busy. I recommend going first thing in the morning or on a weekday as the weekends will be packed if you don't come early. Make sure to bring coupons, they have some on their yelp page, on their website and the best ones are mailed to you. The wait is not too bad either as they give you free coffee and WiFi. Make sure to take advantage of the free car wash and vacuum that comes with each oil change :)! read more

These guys seem a little confused with certain cars but this review is not regarding that. WHY upon check out, they pop up a screen stating they have checked a multitude of items when it is clearly not true. I have a Jaguar. the battery is tuck very securely in the truck behind a panel. Yet the technician tells me they check the water level of my battery. NOT true. They also said my air filter needs changing but they never looked at it. In this car, the air filter is located under the front engine compartment behind several panels. I was watching the whole time. NOT true. read more

I am very grateful to the friendly employees here! My battery died and after getting it jumped I kade it to this location and they were able to test and replace my battery right away. I don't think I was there longer than 20-30 minutes total and everyone was very nice! I went in to this Jiffy Lube for the first time. I was greeted by one of the men on the floor, Carlos. He displayed some of the most exceptional customer service I have ever encountered. He was not only friendly but extremely knowledgeable and explained to me what the numbers and letters showing on my dashboard meant. Throughout the visit it seemed like he was going the extra step just to ensure that my customer experience was a pleasant and memorable one. Not to completely disregard or disrespect his coworkers but I saw how they were interacting with customers vs the way I was being treated and it was night and day. They weren't rude by any means but seemed to be just doing their job. Carlos sounded like he was a manager or executive with his confidence and how eager he was to help. I am nobody special nor was I dressed up anything beyond casual but I felt like a VIP. They need to find a way for Carlos to train and teach new employees to be as good. I did a drive thru oil change. It was $100 .. kind of a rip off for a 4 cylinder sedan. And the paperwork said I needed new windshield wipers when they were brand new wipers. When I asked them why I needed new ones, they said "oh they just looked a little worn." ... they were brand new ! read more

I thought the Irvine location would be classier, but I was wrong. I've always had mixed feelings about this company, but after today I have concluded that I will no longer go to Jiffy Lube. I started going to here because I don't drive pass Hardin Honda anymore and Jiffy Lube is close to home. I thought I could trust these guys, so I let my intuitive cheap Asian person guard down. They took that as a green light to bend me over and screw me. These guys up sell like crazy, so just make sure you understand what they are trying to sell you before you say okay. I was going to go on a long road trip so let them do some other services on my car including recharging my air conditioner and flushing out my radiator that I would normally do elsewhere. These two services cost me about 250 bucks. Maybe my expectations are high, but when people tell me they are recharging my A/C, I expected the air conditioner to be cold to the point my nose gets runny at max cold Right now, it's just cool enough so my armpits stay dry. I also let these guys flush out my radiator. I noticed for the past couple days that the fan under my hood would continue to run, even after I turned off my engine. I checked and noticed that there was no coolant in the reserve tank. That's not normal. I ended up flushing the radiator myself, which took no longer than 30 minutes and cost less than 20 bucks. I got a lecture from the guy that worked there saying I am damaging my car and you need a special machine to flush out the radiator. Although I will miss their speedy service and vacuumed floors, I rather get my car worked on by a Honda dealership. A little about my Credentials: I was one of those Asian kids with the hooked up civic throughout high school and college. Since no girls were ever attracted to me; I had a lot of time on my hands to install car parts and pretend I was Brian O'Conner from Fast and the Furious. I have come here a few times to get my oil changed, and the service was always quick and easy, and you get a free car wash. Unfortunately after my experience the other day, I will never go back. I obviously have no way of proving this happened, but after getting my oil changed, and having the gentleman open my car door for me, I didn't realize till I got home that there was a dent in my driver side door right above my door handle. My car is black and the location of the dent is in a spot that is very hard to miss, so I definitely would have noticed it before my arrival. I understand that things happen, but I am extremely disappointed that the workers didn't tell me what happened. read more

Every time I come here I always have flawless customer service. They are always fast and friendly, also bring your wireless tablet or laptop with you! They offer free wifi and free Starbucks coffee! Their prices are really reasonable too, especially with the $15 off you get when you check in! Be sure to ask for Sam, that guy is the best. I was reading a bunch of reviews and I was wondering if it was just friends of his he was hiring to commit, but he really is just a good person. He goes through any concerns they have with your car, and tell you honest answers. Like, you may need to have something changed, or when you should have it changed by. My son brought his 2015 Hyundai Elantra in for an oil change on March 5. This car has a plastic splash shield underneath the engine that must be removed in order to gain access to the oil pan and filter. This pan has 6 metal 10mm hex bolts. (I know because I normally do the oil changes and have removed the cover many times. The last oil change was done by me and I replaced the 6 bolts.) After the oil recent change at Jiffy Lube, my son had to drive 400 miles up north. After getting on the freeway, he called me and said that there was a weird noise coming from under the car at freeway speed. Fortunately he was close by to a relatives house, so he pulled in and had them check it out. THERE WERE 3 MISSING BOLTS ON THE PAN and it was catching the wind underneath and vibrating. How does one take off 6 bolts and only put back 3?! I will take my business elsewhere. Do not get your car serviced here. read more

The car wash next door is actually my go to spot so it works out. Not sure why the reviews are so low but I like that this location is a one stop shop with the car wash. You can use the discount and get the free wash simultaneously they don't exclude deals. All in all they were busy but the waiting area is huge. There's also honeymee walking distance and a nail salon nearby if you don't feel like waiting there. Service was good, but I wasn't fond of one of the service writers. Constantly trying to upsell, when all I asked for was a synthetic oil change. -I do my own maintenance, but I had a trip coming up that weekend and needed a quick oil change while on my lunch break from the office to get it done with. I was just there for an oil change but he told me that it would be a good idea to get some other things checked out also. After explaining to him that I know absolutely nothing about car maintenance, he pulled up some diagrams and pictures and explained exactly what they were going to do to my car and why it was necessary. Just left this place. Do not come here. 2 years ago it used to have great service, now, the technicians are not friendly, nor experienced. They spend more time upselling products then doing the job. I asked about the mileage sticker in my car, they said they put it in, they didn't. They changed my interior air filter and trashed my glove compartment. Car wash is connected to the place which you would think would be a positive but those employees just come into Jiffy Lube and hang out and talk. I'd blame the manager who is either not there or doesn't care. Last time wasn't a good experience either. Thought I'd give it another try, but same experience. Will not be returning. This location has been my go to Jiffy Lube for the last couple of years for oil change and tire rotation. Today, I parked my car at 5pm, gets a write up by 5:04pm and out of the door by 530pm. Fast and easy! Now, I think JL is a 5 stars concept and experience. But there is always room for improvements, like maybe bigger discount for repeat customers or some sort of loyalty program. ;) Also, here is a few things that could have gone better. * I never see coffee pots on the table. I skipped coffee last time but asked for a pod today. * My car was ready but no one come to me when its done. I saw it in a parking space so I reached out to one of the service guys to take care of payment. I could have left a few minutes sooner. :) * Not a big deal for me- windows not washed even though the invoice said completed. Instead, I got a free wash coupon to the Fast 5 car wash next door. Its actually a plus in my book. I will take free car wash over window cleaning. The coupon is good for the month so I will save it for another day. One last note: Jiffy Lube, like other quick lube places, charge a premium pricing. Cheaper than the dealer and more expensive than some independent shops.(you often need appointments and can take up to 1-3 +hours of wait time) If your car takes more than 5 quarts like mine, you will pay additional $ on top of list price. I paid additional 14 dollars for the extra 1.4 quarts of synthetic. read more

Literally in & out in 30 minutes. I Got an oil change on car with synthetic oil. Expensive yes. I also got a/c filter that needed to replaced & oil change $168, w/10 discount on Yelp & 10% off filters & still paid 146$. Felt cheated. I would honestly go else where, bc of it. 3 stars for cost. Doesn't mean 30 min & increase cost. Happy oil change was done, but not happy with payment. I understand that synthetic is more. But I normally pay $60 tops 70$ on just oil change.
