I've been bringing my Hondas (2014 and 2015) to Town Garage for years, and Eddie continues to earn my trust every time. Over the years, he's helped me with transmission work, brakes, oil changes, and other repairs. He has always been professional, honest, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. Most recently, Eddie quickly identified that the rear tires on my 2015 Honda CR-V were caving inward due to worn suspension components. He took the time to clearly explain the problem, showed me exactly what needed to be replaced, and completed the repair the same day. His expertise and honest diagnosis saved me hundreds of dollars by fixing the actual problem instead of recommending unnecessary repairs. Both of my Hondas have been exceptionally reliable because they've been maintained at Town Garage. It's hard to find a mechanic you can genuinely trust, but Eddie has consistently proven that he puts his customers first. If you're looking for an honest, highly skilled, and hardworking mechanic who stands behind his work, I highly recommend Town Garage. Thank you, Eddie, for another outstanding experience! read more

Very easy mechanic to talk to about what's needed. I thought our battery was bad. They tested. It said it was fine. Did the oil change quick like, good service good price easy to deal with read more

I have been bringing my 2012 Toyota Prius to Town Garage for a few years now. Eddie is great, very friendly and knowledgeable, and I trust him to do what needs to be done, and do it well at an extremely reasonable price. It's very hard to find this level of service. I highly recommend this place. Oh, and when you call, someone answers (usually Eddie), how great is that? read more

Great service and the work gets done in a reasonable amount of time. My family and I have been going to this establishment for over ten years. read more

Eddie is honest and works his best to fit me in. A friend of mine recommended this place to me because they do good work, are very honest and they are affordable. Sure, this place doesn't have the perks of the dealer with the nice waiting room, donuts and courtesy shuttle but I'm saving a lot of money and I have confidence I'm not paying for service that I don't need. read more

Took my wife's car for a brake change. Was quoted for all 4. Called later and said only the front needed replacing. He could have totally charged me for all 4. Not easy to find honest mechanics. Been taking all my cars for a few years now. Price is not the lowest, but they are adequate according to AI. He is always busy, so I make an appointment and drop my car off the night before. Calls me in the morning to discuss the prices and the vehicle is usually fixed in 1 day. Highly recommended to friends and family. read more

Excellent service and value. Have been going to Town Garage for years and years and highly recommend them. The father and son team are wonderful. read more

Eddie is the man! Honest, straightforward, never tries to upsell unnecessary stuff. Highly recommend his service to anyone

Service is great. Eddie gives fair quotes and has fixed issues on 2 of my cars. Will definitely be back.

Eddie completely wrecked my car while providing a routine service. He tried to blame it on my car by saying the "brakes failed AFTER he serviced the car" which just shows the mechanic's error and not a random brake failure like he so claimed? I understand mistakes will happen, and while this is annoying and possibly the worst Christmas gift ever. The reason I am truly upset is the complete lack of urgency and the misalignment between his words and actions. He initially said he felt bad so I gave him grace and was patient and kept my mouth shut. He gave me a 2 week estimate of my car being fixed even though I knew immediately from seeing the photos of the damage they would have to deliver parts and it would take longer due to the holidays, but I bit my tongue and trusted the so-called "expert". It is now past 2 weeks and it is still NOT fixed! He was originally going to leave me WITHOUT a car for the duration of the time it was going to be fixed. I had to demand a rental be covered by him. And then the rental that I had found was "too expensive" (it's literally the week of Christmas and I need a last minute rental). He decided to try to find a cheaper rate but was unable to, shocker, and I was stuck and unable to get a rental for 8 DAYS having to rely on others schedules to borrow their cars/get rides. At this point I get fed up and say I don't care I'm picking up a rental. Here are my main issues: Do not say you are sorry or feel bad about wrecking my car right before the holidays and then wait 2 WEEKS UNTIL JAN 2nd to drop off my car at another auto body shop. The day you should've dropped it off was the 19th the day you wrecked my car! Truly and honestly who is going to be working on Christmas? Update: I spoke with Eddie on the phone and he straight up lied to me saying the auto body shop was closed during the holidays. So the shop was closed from the 19th to Jan 2nd? Being so boldly lied to in my face is so incredibly disrespectful after everything he has done so far. It's the cherry on top! Well, I gave the shop a call today to get more information. They were ONLY closed on Christmas and New Years. He had 2 weeks - 12 days to act with urgency and get my car into the shop to place the order for parts quicker! Additionally the body shop had no idea my car was actually my car and that when Eddie dropped it off there was no mention of it being a customers car and no request for help with a speedy service. Also this was the "only" shop he could use and insurance told him to wait to even take it into a shop? I mean is this believable to anyone?? Surely not to me!! Second, you should not say ANYTHING about the price of the rental when you were the one who damaged my car in the first place. Maybe the rental price would be cheaper if you took my car in sooner? I actually do expect you to drop everything and try your hardest to fix this insane mistake. Third, the audacity of this man to offer my car back to me saying it is still drivable in its wrecked condition just to avoid the additional rental car prices. Eddie is now paying for the rental which mind you is the BARE MINIMUM in this situation, but in my phone call he's telling me how I should be feeling and that I should be"grateful" for him doing this gesture? As if he's not the one who destroyed my car in the first place?? Summary: Only goto Eddie if you are fine with losing your car for a month for just a simple service! If not, literally go ANYWHERE else. UPDATE: So after 3 weeks of being gaslit by Eddie, his insurance company finally contacted me back and said my car was totaled!! This was something I knew from DAY ONE - the minute I saw the damage he caused!! His actions to rectify this have been the most unprofessional and frankly disrespectful. read more

If you're looking for a trustworthy, no-nonsense mechanic, Eddie is your guy. I've been to my fair share of auto shops over the years, and finding someone honest and skilled feels like winning the lottery. Eddie is exactly that. From the moment I pulled in, he was upfront about what my car actually needed and more importantly, what it didn't. No upselling, no pressure, just clear, honest communication and a fair quote. His knowledge and experience show in everything he does. He explained the issues in a way that made sense without being condescending, and he had my car running like new in no time. It's rare to find someone in this industry who genuinely puts the customer first. Eddie has earned my trust completely. He is going to be my only mechanic from now on. If you're tired of the runaround at other shops, do yourself a favor and go see Eddie. Your car and your wallet will thank you. read more

You won't find a more honest and trustworthy mechanic anywhere! Eddie has sent me home multiple times saying I didn't need something fixed. When he does fix my car, it's done well. I'm so lucky to have found him 3 years ago. Eddie has great prices and does honest work. I recommend Town Garage to all my friends and family! Even if I moved away, I would make the drive back here! read more

Did a great job quickly, and at a very reasonable price. I'm happy to have found a trustworthy mechanic.

With so many questionable (and maybe even shady) mechanics around, Eddie is rare combination of stellar service, great value, and straightforward, sound advice. All the work that he's done for me, my daughter, and multiple friends has been perfect and, sort of best of all, he's actually talked me out of things that I really didn't need even when I'm sure they would've been easy money for him. I truly can't see taking my cars anywhere else and highly recommend you give him a try, read more

Eddie and family have become a go to for my family and I . Eddie is very personable, my brother recommended me to take care of my car needs at Town Garage. My brother was referred to see Eddie by our neighbor Casey and his wife Anna. This just goes to show how great the service and impression Town Garage has because word of mouth is hard for businesses to achieve nowadays. Super conveniently located too, right next door is Tustin Ranch Costco on Park Ave. read more

Town Garage is a rare find in the scary world of shady auto mechanics. It's smaller and no-frills, but Eddie the mechanic/manager is terrific. Prices are fair, appointment times are honored, and the service is great. I almost don't want to post my review for fear that they will get (even) more busy! Will bring all my cars to Eddie for service and highly recommend Town Garage to everyone! read more

Best service in Irvine, hands down. Eddie is the most personable mechanic and gets the task required completed. Can't recommend enough!

I finally found a trustworthy mechanic closer to home. I'm not sure how this place slipped my radar, but I love a good value and experience! I first came in for a 90k-mile service for a Toyota/Lexus. It was fast, easy, and affordable. I came back for an oil change half a year later, and decided this will be my new go-to mechanic. Although they were busy the day I called, they still squeezed me in for an oil change. My car was ready within half a day. They also recommended a few other things my car needed, but I never felt pressured as if I had to get it fixed right away with them. They are honest people with fair prices, and they're there to help!! read more

My go-to service shop closed down from Covid times and I had so many people recommended me to go here for my car service. Eddie was so honest and giving me two options to fix my car. Price is reasonable. Moreover, even it was short notice he had fixed my car brakes before going to Legoland with my son. My car works great and my son is also very happy. Thank you Eddie! read more

I have an older model car and they were able to do the repair without trying to upcharge me for any unnecessary additional work. I felt they understood my requests and quoted me a fair price. I highly recommend and will definitely be returning! read more

Friendly and honest business with fair prices and quality work. Overarching statement? Yes, but 100% true. My family has brought over all our cars here for various services, and have received nothing but excellent work each time. Mechanics are able to speak fluent Korean and English, which is definitely a plus for my family. Parking might be tricky to find if you are coming to do a drop off, but that's true in any auto repair strip. Hint, if you are exiting to get back onto Jamboree, continue towards the gas station/train station entrance where there is a light for left turns - otherwise you'll need to do big u-turn somewhere. read more

I have been coming to Town Garage for about 3 years now to care for my 2007 Honda Civic and they have earned my trust and loyalty! It is a small garage that is family owned. They are truly the best! After bad experiences with the dealership charging me "diagnostic fees" and insisting I pay thousands for things that don't need to be replaced, I am happy to say I have found this honest, reliable family owned mechanic! They will not push you to replace anything that does not need to be replaced. They have reasonable pricing and will always give you the best recommendations. I 100% recommend coming here! P.S. always call in advance to ask a good time to come in. read more

I've still been coming here for my oil changes and plan to continue to do so while living in Irvine. I typically wait for my oil change to be done instead of dropping off (which they ask when making your appointments) and it's a really quick wait! I also appreciate the thorough check of the car they do and the recommendations they provide. They don't push you to make the additional services they recommend, they just simply want to bring it up to your attention. As a person who's clueless about cars, I really appreciate that. read more

These guys are honest, on time, and the best in Orange County. I've taken multiple cars to them and it's always come back in better shape.
