Reached out to five different mobile mechanics; two of them got back to me, and luckily, Johnny was one of them. He responded right away with a fair quote and met me within the hour. Assessed the damage to the plate ('twas cooked, RIP ), removed it in less than 5 minutes, and sent me on my way. He even texted me links to some good deals on a new plate. Two incorrect mirrors were obtained, which the owner acknowledged in writing, stating that his vendor had sold him "2 wrong mirrors." After the first incorrect mirror, I made additional payments because I was repeatedly assured the correct mirror would be obtained. I even specifically asked for confirmation that the replacement was the correct one and was told yes. Ultimately, I never received the correct mirror I paid for. After months of trying to resolve this, I requested a refund. Instead, I was offered partial refunds that required me either to keep a mirror missing an option I specifically paid for, or have my original broken mirror reinstalled while being charged for labor. I even offered to accept $625 instead of the full $725 just to resolve the matter. That offer was rejected, and I was told, "See you in Court." I have retained the payment records and written correspondence documenting everything. As a customer, I paid what I was asked to pay and expected the correct part to be provided. After $725, two incorrect mirrors, additional payments, and months of back-and-forth, I still did not receive what I paid for. I'm sharing my experience so other customers can make an informed decision.

I dropped my truck off on Saturday, March 14th at 9:00 AM. Around 2:30 PM, I received a call that the four tires I requested to have replaced was ready for pick up. After paying $1,061.57 for the tires and labor, I drove off the lot only for my truck to begin violently shaking, forcing me to pull over immediately. I contacted my husband, who came to assist, but the truck was undrivable. I returned to Stress Free Auto Care and explained the situation. At that point, my husband was already waiting for a tow truck. Instead of addressing the issue, we were told they were closing and would not inspect the vehicle until Monday. I could hear the mechanic complaining that he was tired and didn't want to wait around when the manager went to speak to him. I specifically asked if anyone actually drove my truck to test it and was told no they did not road test it. Obviously. Due to the poor customer service and urgency of the situation, we had the truck towed to Toyota of Orange. After inspection, we were informed that the lug nuts had been grossly over-tightened, three were broken and one was missing entirely. This was not a minor mistake; it caused significant damage to the wheel components and created a serious safety hazard. Proper torque is a basic standard that any competent shop should follow, yet it was clearly ignored. No one from Stress Free Auto Care contacted us at any point the following week. After Toyota kept the truck for a week and a half, we were left with a repair bill of $3,332.03. My husband sent a certified letter to Stress Free Auto Care, including documentation of the damages and requesting reimbursement. The manager eventually responded, offering to reimburse only the cost of the tires without acknowledging the additional damages or expenses incurred. As a result, we have filed a lawsuit to recover our losses. I strongly caution anyone to use Stress Free and to choose a business that values safety, accountability, and professional standards.
