I have come to American Tire Depot a few times now to check on my tires. I like how honest they are without trying to charge me $$$ for things I do not need. Whenever I need to come in, I usually book online quickly the night before and they're able to see me first thing the next morning. I never need my car in a rush, but they're usually quick to call me back and tell me my car is ready for pick up. The location in Irvine is super convenient, too - I can quickly Uber or Lyft to and from work. I recommend coming here for quality, no nonsense service, the guys are great! read more

Came here for an alignment and tire rotation. I thought everything was fine up until a few days after when I noticed my cars ride was severely worse and really rough. I took my car to a mechanic who informed me that when I got my tires aligned and rotated that my front two tires weren't properly tightened and were left loose causing the issues I had with my car. Won't be back here again. read more

Came here after we needed some work over a tire and it was super busy on a Saturday but but London, who is at the front desk was awesome. Super good customer service he got stuff done. He called us when he said he was going to. Also the manager. Shoutout to Andrew at American Tire Depot! I found a screw in my tire and stopped by, but they were completely booked. Andrew was so nice and filled my tire with air so I could make it through the night. I came back the next day, they fixed it super fast, and didn't charge me a penny! Very concerning experience as a Tesla owner. I brought my Model S in for a flat tire repair. I explained to the employee that Teslas have specific lifting points because of the battery pack underneath. But the car was first lifted directly on metal without the proper pad. I stopped them immediately, but even when a rubber pad was used, it appeared to be positioned too far under the battery pack, which made me really uncomfortable. I asked about training and was told they 'do this every day'. But doing something often doesn't mean it's done correctly. I recommend the owner properly train employees on safe lifting points for Teslas. As a Tesla owner, I do not recommend this shop for other Tesla owners for lifting services. read more

It's a great place if you want an all in 1 shop. They can service your car and change your tires so I go here all the time. They offer cheaper tires and they have deals online which make the value great. Overall I got 4 tires with installation alignment and all services taxes and fees for under 600 dollars which in my opinion is great. If you don't have a mechanic, this is a great option. read more

This location is just way too busy. I usually go to location closer to my house, but I got stranded out in Irvine and this was a pretty quick tow. It was 4+ hours to wait for one back tire to be changed. Picked up my car no problem then a month or two later when I did my oil change at the dealership, they rotated my tires so that tire from the back went up front all of a sudden my brakes weren't working. My brake sensors were misfiring, I had to use my emergency break because my brakes were failing and when I took it back to the dealer, he said the newest tire was not the same size as the other tires. It was bigger so my ABS sensor couldn't read because this tire was almost an inch taller I went to my regular store and asked them if they could look at the last time that I was in with them and my trip to Irvine and he confirmed what my dealership told me, wrong size tire. Ugh I sent both invoices with the letter to the corporate office explaining that my brakes were affecting because of an error and I had to purchase another tire, that was the right size- sadly enough corporate never got back to me. Just a boys club. Broke my confidence with them -I trusted their branding, no thanks I'm good even though I have an extra tire that doesn't fit my car that's almost brand new read more

9/3/2026: dddddRight now I'm on the phone, have waited already 27 minutes for someone to pick up the phone after they asked me to hold. When I went in person, the wait was long and they were clearly overscheduled. Since my car was serviced here, it has been driving in a side-to-side "ping ponging". Turns out that the "premium tires" they sold me are not appropriate for my car (not spec'd for an EV at all) and the "alignment" they'd done was actually not performed. They said my front tires had good tread and didn't need to be replaced. Little did I know, that made my car's performance worse. I already went back and asked them about it, and they double downed. They said they rechecked alignment and it was good. They said that to fix this problem, I actually would need to buy more tires for my front wheels. They tried to sell me another set of non-EV tires. AVOID! Update: Finally spoke with the manager and asked for a refund, he agreed. Will update again after finalizing. Maybe they were honest mistakes and their customer service can make up for it. Update: 9/4/2026 The manager Emerson took responsibility and kept his word. The whole ordeal was a lot more troublesome than it should have been, but the resolution felt respectful, which I appreciate. read more

Not a normal tire yes i know . So I'm tryna change my son's pocket bike tire for over an hour and I'm like at my wits end . I'm just physically not strong enough to get the other side of the tire over the rim . And I thought hey worst they can tell me is no u know . I drive to shop and the guy says let me see and he gets the tire over the rim and puts air in it and cleans it ! These guy were literally the sweetest ! Still the same issue a year and a half later. I took my car back to them, but they couldn't identify the problem. Later, I took it to a mechanic for an oil change, and they discovered that one of the tires didn't even match the other three. The ironic part is that I purchased their "buy three tires, get one free" deal. Apparently, the free tire was just a random mismatched one. If you want a free random tire, this is the place to get it. I do appreciate that they took a second look tho. read more
