I came here after leaving the Discount Tire nearby, where they tried to sell me a whole new tire for a simple nail that was clearly repairable. America's Tire is only about 8 minutes away, and I'm glad I made the drive. First, the one thing they could improve: When I walked in, it took about 12 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. A couple employees saw me standing there and I was the only person in line, but no "hey, we'll be right with you" or anything. A simple greeting within a couple minutes would make the experience way smoother. Now, everything else was great -- especially Hugo. I had called ahead and talked to Hugo, and he was super helpful over the phone. When I arrived, I asked to work with him directly after the rest of the staff kind of ignored me. He was juggling multiple customers, greeting people as they walked in, directing other employees, and still managed to help me personally. The guy was everywhere at once and kept everything moving. He got me checked in fast, found the nail in my tire, patched it, found another nail in a different tire, patched that too, and rotated all four -- for free (since I bought my tires from their San Diego location). Hugo is seriously clutch. Professional, efficient, and actually cares about helping people instead of upselling them. Give this man a raise. Besides the greeting issue, the service here is miles better than the Discount Tire down the street. I'll be coming back to this location from now on and hopefully they got Hugo a new coat with a goat patch or something. read more

Initially I called to order two rear tires. I knew that for my Lexus IS 350, the rear and front tires are different sizes. I arrive and the ones that came in were for the front even though I had specified on the phone they were for the back and they confirmed on the phone. So that limited my options. Had two new tires put on rear. One had a flat pretty quickly. I was missing the pressure sensors on all 4 tires; they said they only had 2 in. Then later they said they had none in but would call when they had them in and would honor the discounted labor quote but they never called. Now I have another flat. Two flats with their tires after not having an issue before. Firestone was close by so I took it into Firestone even though the back tires were under warranty with America's Tire. Firestone said the tires are not a good brand and will immediately go flat if there is a nail or puncture. I was not explained that by America's Tire. Service guys were very nice. But I would recommend doing more research on the brands they recommend and going with the best brand rather than trying to save a little money. Their prices are good but I have now been inconvenienced on two separate days needing to take my car in immediately and had to be towed one of the times. read more

Needing to replace 4 tires, I got quotes from Tire Rack and Costco, then called America's Tire, as this place has provided the best service in the past. Their quote was great, but I was asked if I had any other quotes. When I mentioned that I had a Costco quote, they adjusted their price to beat it. I purchased the tires and set an appointment for Halloween. While driving on the freeway to work today, the warning light came on indicating 0 PSI for one tire. I immediately headed to this store, as I knew the tires were in stock and paid for. When they checked out my current tires, they determined that the sensor had gone bad. I decided to get all the sensors replaced, as they wouldn't charge labor since all tires were being replaced as well. So even without a scheduled appointment due to the issue, they were able to get me on the road with 4 new tires and 4 working sensors in less than 20 minutes. When leaving, they reminded me to come back between 5k to 10k miles for my free rotation and balancing. Thanks to the entire crew...especially Dylan. This is an updated review for America's Tire. I came in to replace all four tires on two of our cars. This was a hefty bill, but I believe that no one could have beat the price I got here at America's Tire. I was going to Costco Tires since they usually have a promo for Michelin tires. However, I didn't realize that the same promo is also offered at America's Tire. While Costco Tires does a good job with my tire installation, they cannot seem to schedule me until a week or two out because they do not have enough workers to service the demands. While Costco offers tire rotation and free flat fixes, so does America's Tire. This Lake Forest America's Tire is always busy from what I can see (I drive by here and there). Despite that, they can get me an appointment within a day or two. They are also so friendly and accommodating (letting me sit in my car while they do the tire change). I like that America's Tire offers a wide range of tires. While I got the Michelins on one car, I ordered Yokohama's for another. Dylan spent over half an hour on the phone with me just to run prices for me on a variety of different tire specs. He was patient and never pushy on anything. They offer certificates for your tires. This will replace your tire when it is beyond repair. Namely, if you have a leak in a spot that cannot be plugged, they will replace it. I think it's worth getting the certificate if you are spending over $200/tire and especially for those low profile ones. read more

This place is super busy. They work on your car quickly to get you in and out. Great selection of tires and price points. They do offer a tire protection certificate at an additional cost that replaces your tire if it can't be repaired due to a nail, screws or other damage. You are not obligated to get the certificate, but offers additional piece of mind that some may want. read more

All 4 tires replaced and balanced within 1 hour of my checking in. Dylan and his service partner were professional and polite. I received much more efficient and professional service than I did with the store in Mission Viejo near Saddleback College, where I waited over 2 hours, suffered a theft and several other problems at that location. I passed on the roadside coverage; in all my years of driving I've never experienced a blow out and doubtful I will with these new Michelin Defender 2's x 4. Besides I have AAA Roadside ...so I'm covered! Only thing is I would have liked information on how to apply for the rebate with Michelin. I took my Porsche 911 to the dealer but they wanted to sell me a new tire when all I needed was a slight leak fixed so I took it to America's tire and they fixed it for free and did a nice job and we're very attentive to my car. I thought I reviewed this place years ago but apparently not. I've gotten tires here for almost 20 years and for many cars - Toyota Solara, Mini Cooper, Kia Soul, Tesla M3, and most recently for a Hyundai Venue for a repair. I was surprised when I got the bill and learned it was free, I've never had a screw in a tire before and needed a repair. I've been here many times to have the tire pressure and condition checked and the techs are always friendly and knowledgeable. Everytime I've gotten tires in the past, they always been friendly and knowledgeable and a few times were even able to price match based on a previous price I had. Big mistake coming here Came in to install 2 new rear rims and install 4 new tires Came home and never touched the car until i realized the front 2 tires were losing air Brought the car back found out they cracked 1 or 2 of my front rims during the install. Had to buy 2 front rims after that. Ending up not trusting them and installing the front 2 rims elsewhere. They left the tire stickers on a few of my tires They installed the wheel weights all crooked and ugly and not in a line They left the wheel weight adhesive residue from the old wheel weights And to top of it off when I came to pick up my car someone stalled my $100,000 corvette as they were pulling it out. Overall it was bad quality sloppy and most likely rushed work that led to me having to lose more money buying new rims. This is what you call five star full service. Drove right in after my tire blew out on the freeway. I considered going to Costco or driving to another location where they had my tire in stock but I was stressed out by driving slow enough on a run flat tire during rush hour traffic! This last time it took them 45 mins just to take my car back and I was here 10 mins before my appointment time. I just don't see the point in making an appointment. I'm not sure their process for serving customers, but I came in at noon, watched a man who was 3 people behind me leave 45 minutes before me! I was waiting for 2.5 hours to get my service done- 2 tires put on. that's it. the guy that finished 45 minutes before me had 4 tires put on- tbh, I believe they prioritize people who spend more money because there is zero reason why I should havewaited 45 minutes longer than a person who came in 3 people after I did. I used to come here for all my tires but I'm over the poor treatment. EDIT: My response to the companies reply: 4 customers besides myself. All men. All spent considerably more than me (double+). One I spoke of above checked in 3 people behind me and left 45 min before me with more services. 2 other men had appointments 30 minutes after me and were serviced at 1 hour and at 54 minutes consecutively, leaving 30 minutes before me. The last gentleman near me was a senior. He was professionally explained to, by the agent who checked me in, that there was a 1 hour service goal they try to meet for every customer. At one hour and 5 minutes that same agent went to him to apologize for the delay and told him his car would be complete in 10 - 15 more minutes. He arrived one hour after me and left 10 - 15 minutes after me. I went up to the same agent who checked me in originally that spoke to this elderly gentleman and when I complained that I had been waiting 2 hours and my car hadn't even been moved from the parking lot, he responded saying" we're doing our best". The older gentleman get's an apology after an hour and his car will be done in 10-15 min, I get "we're doing our best" after two hours with a guestimated completion time of 34 more minutes. Whether your company has a gender bias or a price bias or both, all of it is discrimination. You don't need to share with your manager to make it right because he was on the floor next to me while I was complaining and he did nothing. Not one apology or kindness was offered to me, nor an explanation of a one hour service goal. Why are some customers at this location given the VIP treatment of professionalism and some are barely regarded or spoken to. If the manager didn't hear my complaint, it doesn't matter because I've called your competitor's today to get a quote for the service I had at your store today and they were comparable. I can't imagine being treated any worse, so no, you cannot make it right. I've been to this same store 3 times and have never felt valued. I'm absolutely certain that your company has discrimination problems and will definitelynot miss my measly hundreds of dollars spent, that was obvious at the store the three times I've come there and had mediocre service. But they do have the best prices and they'll match any competitor. The service is fast and reliable. The techs are very professional and pleasant to deal with Craig went above and beyond to give me the best prices possible. My tires were in the suggested replacement range well before the replacement mileage was reached so I got about 60% discount on a set of new ones according to tire company warranty program. Very busy. Making an appointment does not mean much. Still waiting in line after checked in my an associate 20 minutes ago. Checked in using the app does not count. My car's tire pressure warning light was on. So it turned out there was a screw in one of the back tire. The associate started to tell me they probably can patch it and I would need a new tire. I just waited for him to read the screen and then he said, 'oh you bought the protection.' They always try to sell you new tires. That is their job, I know. After that it was the usual waiting. All in all, even with an appointment using their app, it took 90 min for the tire to be repaired and I was in my way. I had a nail in the tire and running on a spare. Costco was going to take me 5 hours (and no guarantee service) as a walk-in, so a friend recommended America's Tire. I called (while waiting at Costco), and they said they could get me in (around 4pm), "but it would take at least an hour" ( uhhh yes please!). I didn't have to wait more than 10min for service (they apologized for being so busy on a Monday-- they are closed on Sundays so Mondays run busy). After checking the location and tread on the tires, they plugged it and I was out within the hour! "The plug will most likely outlast the tire" and I'm so thankful for their help. Beware. Check your tires before you leave. Two cars in my household had tires installed incorrectly. One was facing the wrong direction and one installed the wrong way (inside side of tire facing outside. It is noted on tires which direction it should face. I purchased these tires here and they installed it wrong. The technician noticed it and I made sure to tell them that the tires were originally purchased here and installed by their staff. We are paying for a service and trusting these employees to make sure the product is installed properly, but they don't even check their work to ensure their customers safety. read more
