my experience at Brake Masters was top of the line! I called in the morning to inquire about services needed for my car & spoke w Danny on the phone. He was professional & had a positive attitude & answered my questions promptly. I came in at 9:45 & was quoted about an hour for an alignment & air conditioning recharge for my 2002 Tahoe. the chairs are pretty comfortable because i ended up falling asleep in one of them. honestly if i had been running errands i likely wouldn't have allotted myself time for this but obviously it was a much needed rest & though a handful of other patrons came & went no one disturbed me & i don't think i disturbed anyone either.. i woke up feeling much better! my car was done at 1pm, yes it took longer than expected but i don't mind because i knew my previous mechanic told me my alignment was way off. this was communicated to me by Danny & he also checked in on the status of the air conditioning as it was filled. they repaired a leaky hose (checked w me first, thank you!) & alerted me to a loose spark plug which they asked if i'd like replaced for $30-40. i told them yes please go ahead & to fill up the freon! i wasn't doing anything else so i was happy my car was being taken care of. i also HIGHLY appreciate the open communication as each aspect of my service was ran by & approved by me so i didn't have any surprises at the end. being a woman alone walking into an auto shop can make u a target for predatory pricing & condescending dishonesty at some places but not here! their prices are fair & competitive, Danny was very open, respectful, works really hard from what i can see & i love that he has a great attitude! note: if you do get an alignment or another service that you are quoted to have a discount or coupon, that will show at the very bottom of your receipt, they didn't forget! my Tahoe is over 332,000 miles & i'll easily make it 400,000 & more with great services like these! this was my first time at Brake Masters but they have a patron for life now! read more

They do walk ins so after work I headed down there and they took my car right in. Fantastic service! Took my 2022 Pacifica Hybrid to Brake Masters for an alignment after I purchased new tires. Original front tires wore severely on the inside edges. Prior to starting the alignment, I told Brake Masters the front-end assembly/steering was removed by the dealer for a transmission replacement. Brake Masters hooked up their alignment system and reported the front-end sub frame on the vehicle was out of alignment and said realigning the front-end sub frame was a significant effort and I should take it back to the dealer for the repair. BRAKE MASTERS DID NOT CHARGE FOR THIS INSPECTION. They allowed me to take a picture of their alignment system diagnostic screen showing the issue. I immediately went to the dealer, and they put our Pacifica on their alignment rack and confirmed the sub frame was out of alignment. The dealer has agreed to fix the issue at no charge. EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE and HONESTY are not something you find very often in automotive repair shops. BRAKE MASATERS IS GREAT! I won't be going anyplace else for brakes, shocks or alignment or any other service they can provide. read more

Needed to get my brakes done and did not want to go to the car dealership and pay a ton of money. Saw an ad for Brake Masters and saw that one was in my area. Sal is very good at helping you and explaining exactly what his crew is going to do for you. They specialize in brakes, but they also do engine repairs, alignments (contract with American Tires to help their customers out), oil changes and free engine diagnostic testing. My brakes were done in 2 hours as I had both front and rear done to include rotor resurfacing. Only one slight knock, if you leave your car, they have limited space, and lose customers. So try to come in when they are open and not too late because it causes an issue the next day if you leave your car. Appreciate the job done and the diagnostics for my mom's car. read more

My family has been a brake masters patron for years. Sal and Danny are the staples at the front desk and are really nice, genuine guys. Keep us coming back! To be honest, I think any solid car maintenance isn't going to come at a cheap price. So I never complain about pricing. The nice thing about being a repeat customer is they have a lifetime warranty for the brakes so when they need to be replaced your just paying for the labor. Heads up front brakes and rear brakes differ. In regards to service, I think they do a thorough job checking the car when it comes to maintenance and any issues. The only ding is the wait could be brutal sometimes. I went in this past Wednesday and waited a little over three hours for brakes and rotors to be done. I definitely recommend having a friend or family member pick you up so you don't have to wait in the lobby. The couches are comfy though and they have vending machines with snacks, cash only though. How refreshing to go to a place of service, that truly wants to meet my needs, and then go beyond!!! What a surprise to come into a place for an oil change, to be told by Sal "I'm applying a online coupon for you with that, and oh by the way, would you like us to rotate your tires -for free!!!" Indeed! I dared to ask, as long as you're doing the tires can you check the brakes and see how they are as well? He said of course we always do anyway. I said I also bought two new filters and windshield wipers that I was going to wait until my son was in town to put on for me. He simply replied, give them to me and we will do that for you. No extra charge!!! After I sat down in the waiting room, a up, saying he was a new customer and wanted to know that had been coming there for 10 years and was more than happy with the. He said anytime he's had something wrong with his car, if they don't fix it there they will recommend honorable that will do the repairs well and inexpensively. He remembered listening to a woman come in to the shop saying that her husband told her on his deathbed not to take the car any place but here. My daughter was the one who recommended me going there, and she had spoken very highly of them even their willingness to only charge the labor when she brought in parts that she bought elsewhere. She made it sound too good to be true but now that I have been there, I can only share that with you and say go. You won't be disappointed. I needed my front brakes replaced so I called up a few places to see if I could get a quote, and only Brake Masters gave me a reasonable quote and spent the time to explain it to me. Danny both answered my call and was there when I came in the next morning. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and honest, that's pretty much all you want when dealing with people who service your car, and on top of that, I think the speed and value of the service was among the best. Other places, such as some large tire and auto chains (which will go unnamed) were horrible, not only were they rude, but quoted me something double the price, and another one said they would call back and didn't. I was in and out at Brake Masters in about an hour, the waiting area was a little old, but still comfortable and relatively quiet while I was there. Took my 2013 Tacoma in to have my calipers replaced, ended up losing +$700 and having a brake failure on the freeway as a product of a botched repair. Highly recommend finding another business to take care of your vehicle. On April 10, I brought my truck in because I heard a noise coming from the front brakes. After I had the pads replaced, I heard a rattling on the drive home. The shop forgot the cotter pins on my brakes, and my cotter pins rattled loose on the drive home. I had to tow my shop in the next day for them to fix it. They refused to give me any money back On April 14, I was driving to San Diego from LA, and my brakes failed on the freeway. Fully pressed down, the brakes had no stopping power heading full speed on the freeway. I had the truck towed to a local shop and they found that Brake Master's forgot to replace to bolt that connected the steel brake line to the brake arm-- you can see the attached photo. The movement enabled by the missing bolt severed the steel brake line, causing it to lose all pressure. Now, Sal at Brake Master's refuses to refund any of the initial failed repair, and compensate me for my losses. For your safety and sanity, I recommend any other shop. I hate leaving reviews, good or bad, I just want to get my money back. read more

Honest, competent, and fair pricing - what else can you ask for in an auto mechanic. Danny is courteous and runs the shop. My Audi was squealing badly but Danny informed me the pads/rotors still had 50% life and the intermittent squealing is common on this model. I had an older Audi serviced here previously with no issues, probably 50% less then dealer service cost. I would not hesitate to come here again for brake service. AN HONEST REPAIR SHOP! I felt that my brakes maybe needed replacing, so I called several repair shops to get a general idea of what it might cost, and liked the price that Brake Masters quoted. I brought my car in there and left it for an estimate. After an hour, Danny called me to say that they had found that the rear brakes were still in good condition and that the front brakes were just worn down a bit but should still be good for at least another 20,000 miles. He said that they would put everything back together and I could have my car back, NO CHARGE! I was very impressed that they were honest and didn't try to sell me repairs that weren't needed.
