Since then, I've brought my car back for oil changes and brake work, and the service is always top-notch. What stands out most is their honesty. They never try to upsell you on unnecessary repairs, they only fix what actually needs fixing and their pricing is incredibly fair. They are fast, professional, and genuinely care about their customers. After dropping my car off at 8AM with Weiss, he gave me a call later that afternoon to let me know that my brakes were completely worn out in the front, and only had 2MM left in the back. He explained what was wrong, my available options, and let me have time to think about what services I wanted. I appreciate that Weiss provided detailed explanations regarding my auto issues, and did not pressure me to purchase any services. I went ahead and got both brake pads repaired, and am very satisfied with the service provided. Pricing was very competitive, especially in comparison to what the dealership would charge. This place is amazing. My Nissan Altima stopped working, and I initially thought it was an issue with the alternator and battery. I had some people look at it, but they were unable to properly diagnose the problem. OC Auto Care discovered that the issue was actually due to a broken key and was able to fix it. Fast forward two months, I had a check engine light come on and went back to OC Auto Care. The person there fixed the problem without an issue. I am here updating my previous 5 star review for this shop as I am once again amazed by Waise and his team from my most recent visits. As many have mentioned, they are very honest and trustworthy. I have been coming to this shop for years for all the repairs on my Volvo and Pontiac when I still had it. Not only the price is reasonable, they'll let you know what part can go with alternative brand to save money with no difference and what part is better to go with OEM for better result/longevity. Most recently I took my car in for evap code and was told to first try getting an oem gas cap from Volvo (or a good quality one) to replace my gas cap (from 1998) before spending the money on trying to replace/fix something that may not need to be done. I now have 5 cars and continue to see OC Auto Care. These guys are amazing. A few visits ago, I was actually doing the math and asking how the heck they make any money on the oil changes. Waise tells me that after all costs, they actually don't - but use it in the same way that a dentist does hygiene. Eventually, everyone will need something like brakes, smog, and so forth and it helps build the business. So after getting my brakes done on my last visit, I am back to asking - at his prices, how does he make any money? They installed factory parts, and new rotors and cycled the fluid out of the brake lines. Everything works flawlessly... All I can say is that I trust Waise unconditionally to always give the best service at the best price. My teenage kids take their cars there and always get the best guidance. Even though I'm very busy, I just had to write a review for this gem of a place!!!Seriously! All the reviewers are so accurate; this place is honest, reliable, friendly, and charges awesome prices!! Brought in my college daughter's 2019 Hyundai Elantra last week for a squealing sound that recently started appearing consistently for her the last 2 weeks whenever she was on the freeway. --------------- ANOTHER PLACE (let's call it a Hyundai dealership) wanted to charge us $179 just to diagnose the problem behind the squealing and wanted to charge us ANOTHER $179 to look at why the daytime running lights keeps showing up as a warning on her dashboard, from time to time, ever since yet another Hyundai dealership fixed a recall while we were in there to fix whatever was causing the passenger's side damp floor (which was still covered under warranty) . (Note: We never asked for the headlamp recall to be address, btw, but I know dealerships like to fix those recalls bc it's free to the customer but they can get reimbursed for the labor & parts by the car manufacturer). Mind you, the OTHER PLACE wanted $179 plus another $179, which were just to DIAGNOSE the squealing & headlamp problems, but not even to REPAIR the problem, which would have meant even more money (additional costs)!! The horror! I picked up her car from the dealership without having anything done to it yet because I had a bad feeling about how much it was going to cost. (Btw, I made an apptmt for that dealership 2 weeks prior to the apptmt, had an apptmt on Tuesday morning, but they said they were so behind that they probably wouldn't be able to look at it until Friday, but that I still needed to leave the car there til then just in case there was a technician who became available earlier than predicted!! 4 days!! No loaner cars offered or available either!) ------------ Fast forward to ***THIS PLACE*** So I looked on Yelp, read all the awesome reviews, & called OC Auto Care (Waise answered after only a few rings and asked if he could put me on hold--he came back after a 12 min hold, but don't worry, it's not that bad compared to how long every where else makes you wait, and totally worth it). I made an apptmt for the following day at NOON. Here's the best part, they addressed ALL the car's issues and was done at around 1:30pm, for around $51!!!! Fifty-one dollars! NOT $400 and 4 days just to tell me what's wrong. $51 to address the car's 2 issues and even a third issue I asked about when I dropped off the car. There had been a slow leak in one of the tires. They found a small nail and patched up that tire. They took the car out on the freeway twice, for about a 5 mile round trip each time, to see if the squealing sound would show up (it didn't), but they checked all the belts and everything in the car and nothing was found loose or broken. They also changed the headlamp bulb. Problems all fixed! Waise is the young owner, who has been working on cars for a long time, ever since he was 16. Combined with his dad, Willie, who used to have his own shop but now works there with his son, and who has been working on cars for over 50 years! Both are so kind and honest and know what they're doing! They also said that if the squealing was to return, just bring it back and they will look at it immediately. But no squealing happened for them and nothing was broken. I'm forever grateful and will be back for sure for future auto repairs! read more

OC Auto Care installed a catalytic converter shield on my Prius. They did the job in less than an hour and charged me $150. The dealer wanted $300 and to keep my car for 5-6 hours! Toyota dealership tried to charge my wife $2400 for what they said was a "completely broken" bushing in her suspension. My wife was pretty upset and neither of us know much about cars. We held off and brought it here instead for a second look. These guys gave it a check and: A - said it's not even necessary to replace right now. And B - if we did want to replace it they would do the entire thing at a quote that was way more reasonable. This is the only place we will be bringing our cars from now on.
