Most of my reviews are for restaurants and food establishments, but I was compelled to write one for AMS because of the exceptional experience I had here. I have been searching for an auto shop to fix the air conditioning compressor on my daughter's Volvo XC90. It's an expensive repair for an older vehicle, but A/C is needed in sunny So Cal. We moved to a new area so I called around to 5 different places and AMS provided the best price and also happened to be the highest rated so I decided to take it there. From the moment I spoke to the owner, Nima, I had an instinctive feeling he knew his stuff and was an upright guy. He quoted me an amount off the top of his head and didn't pressure me at all and said to just give him a call back if I wanted to do it. I called him back the next day and we scheduled a day and time. He was there to check me in and confirm the price and that he was using a brand new compressor as opposed to a remanufactured one. He called me throughout the day with updates and other findings he had. His pricing was so good, it was easy to add on some work. He called me when it was done, sooner than I thought. He showed me everything they did and even through in something I had told him I'd do myself. He didn't need to give me anything free because his prices were so good, but he did it anyway. Detail-oriented, fair pricing, honest, and they do not try to upsell you on anything that's not critical. I had my oil changed, when they noticed my serpentine belt was worn, which many others including a Lexus dealership missed, and they replaced it for a very fair price. They also topped off my oil again later for free when I noticed it was low after only 1500 miles. I also asked about a squeaking sound from the front wheel area and they advised it's common when the struts get dry, and it's expensive to replace but not necessary since it's not a safety issue. read more

I have been a customer for perhaps 5-6 years now. After my first visit I was thrilled to have found them. Aurash and Nima are top notch. I have always been treated like a truly valued customer.
