I will drive all the way here for this location. I like how when you make an appointment, they truly honor it. You can in and out in a very reasonable amount of time. The nice thing about this location is that you can walk over to the Camp or Anti-Lab as you wait. I feel like they are honest even though the tires I bought from them claimed I could go 60k but it only went 20k and I had to replace them again. Not sure what's going on since I only drive 1.2miles each day to the gym. We will see about these new ones I got. But I've been happy with their service here. I'm very unlucky with nails in tires, and every time the workers here are attentive, properly assess the damage, and repair it for free as long as there's no damage outside the ridges. The value is great, not many other high quality tire stores patch up your tires for free. This made me want to get a new set of tires here, and that was also comparable to market value. Got 2 rear tires at the America's Tire in Livermore and immediately after, noticed that the tire pressure alert was on my dash. Didn't have time until today to go in to get it checked and I was in SoCal- so I visited this location. Guadalupe and Nicholas helped me out, they were both knowledgeable and very helpful. I was in and out quickly with the tire notification removed after they checked all 4 tires (which were fine to begin with). Guadalupe noticed that the Livermore America's tire didn't have the valve stem caps on, so he was kind enough to put them on for me. Livermore failed but Costa Mesa made up for it :) read more

For years, I've brought my family's cars to this location for all tire stuff, and they've ALWAYS been super cool and supportive. I bought 4 new tires for my truck a year or more ago, and this morning early I went to get my tires rotated and new lug nuts installed. I totally expected to pay and was surprised when the associate said I owed nothing. I was pleasantly shocked, and my exact words to him were, "this is why I continue coming here." Yesterday (7/30/26) was a pretty stressful day for me. Somehow a nail ended up in my tire and I didn't realize it until I was on my way to lunch. I contacted AAA to change my tire and since I never had a flat tire in my SUV I didn't realize that the spare was a donut. I drove off with the donut but just didn't feel comfortable; so I headed to America's Tires down the street and oh did I mention that all of this happened while I was on my lunch break from work. So I made it to America's Tires and found out that the power had gone out on the whole block. What I noticed is that the employees at this location was very calm and acknowledged all customers to let them know what was going on and to inform us that we would be accommodated once the power was turned back on. I especially would like to acknowledge Daniel and David as they exhibited exceptional customer service and made what could have been an even worse experience for the day. I had a very frustrating experience at the America's Tire on Bristol St in Costa Mesa. I came in to purchase and install new tires on my vehicle, which has aftermarket Vossen wheels. I provided the proper tools and clearly explained that the wheels require careful handling. During service, I was told that a simple screw securing the wheel cover (center cap)--needed to access the lug nuts--had been stripped and could not be removed. This is a basic, non-structural screw and should not be damaged when handled properly with the correct tool. Instead of resolving the issue, I was sent to a third-party shop, Costa Mesa Brakes & Tires Inc. (literally next door, about a 3-minute walk), where I had to pay $150 out-of-pocket just to remove that single screw. I was also told the two businesses have an existing relationship. No alternative solution was offered, and after waiting nearly three hours, I felt forced to proceed. To make matters worse, one of my wheel covers was damaged while the car was in their care. I was told it was "pre-existing," but I have timestamped photos taken immediately before service showing it was not. I was then quoted $100 per wheel cover to replace it. For context, my car was inspected at another shop the day prior with no issues, and I've used multiple tire shops across Southern California without ever encountering something like this. Overall, this experience showed a lack of accountability and professionalism. This shop was amazing. We got a flat on our trailer tire well heading from Long Beach to Ramona. It was at 4pm, the shop had the tires we needed and well they normally try to do trailers in the morning because their lot is pretty small they got us in and out as fast as they could. They had a busy waiting area, and did have a long list of people before us. Adding bonus the street had a rolling blackout because of the heat and we are in Southern California. They were amazing even with that problem (not their fault at all). They offered water and great conversation well we waited for Edison to get the power back up. And then they got us out super fast. Highly recommend them. Although I truly hope this will be a one time thing as this is not a local America tire shop. read more

I ordered some high end performance tires from here and the service was great start with one exception... after mounting my expensive new tires they couldn't do my alignment because my car (which is stock) was "too low" for their alignment machine. So you enter your vehicle information, show up in said vehicle but then decide to tell you " sorry, you're car we are very accustomed to working on caught us by surprise and we can't help you" So I ran around all day trying to look for a "pit style" (which I had to find out what that was from another shop) alignment shop. Well guess what, they have a pit-style alignment machine at the Irvine location and no one told me. They just kinda threw their hands up in the air and had me figure it out on my own. I called 7 locations and visited 4 until I found the specific one because I had no idea which style I needed. Staff was great, but they left me hanging unfortunately. read more

Scheduled in advance for a install of tires I ordered online. Hunter, the guy at the counter greeted me and checked the tires that were currently on my car, and was very helpful in detailing the ETA for installation, options for tire warranty. The pricing for the install was lower than anywhere I could find in my city. Another staff member let me know that there was a broken stud on the wheel from the previous owner, and even put the broken lugnut into a bag for me. This shop is top notch, and we didn't have to wait long in the seating area before the tire install was completed. I highly recommend getting tires installed here. read more

Parking is minimal and confusing, and I had to wait about 25-30 mins until I was actually assisted. I could not be there because I had work and this was all explained to me over the phone. new tires were absolutely not an immediate need, but the workers saw the opportunity to take advantage of the situation. Their reasoning for getting new tires is because "there will be a pull" that makes absolutely no sense. They came in to just check on why their tire was low and were told their back tire was low but convinced them to buy new front tires? Back we came for rebalancing, only to get Daniel this time. He told us the shaking was from the front right tire, not the brand-new rears that caused the problem in the first place. Sure, and my blender's broken because of the microwave. But fine, we bought the new front tire anyway, hoping for a small loyalty discount. Instead, we got Daniel's charming "stand-offish" personality, which was about as warm as a snow tire in January. So here we are, ending a decade-long relationship. I stopped by this morning and asked Nick about an employee and Nick answered abruptly me the employee was at lunch and started ranting off in his rude, nasty tone, manner and style to me the policy on American Tire employees taking lunch break. I did not expect such rudeness and was quite shocked that I was in for a lecture on employees going to lunch but Nick kept pounding away to drill his point across. Never once a "good morning", never once did he "look at me" was only focused on giving me a lecture which I NEVER expected and still in shock. I was a Manager for 13 years at a retail store and never would I ever employ such a individual who does not treat customers with respect and professionalism they deserve. My suggestion is to send Nick to Anger Management classes immediately and most of all too, put a smile on his face and look a customer in the eyes, not ignore me. read more

I've been a long-time customer of America's Tire, consistently bringing multiple vehicles to your locations due to your excellent customer service. On November 4, 2025, at approximately 3:15 PM, I had an appointment to install two front tires on my 2024 Audi RS3. As part of my routine, I always clean and inspect my vehicle thoroughly before any service. On November 3, I conducted a full inspection and confirmed there were no defects. While I typically observe the service process, I chose not to this time due to my trust in this location. Upon returning home, I noticed a gap in the passenger side, between the side skirt and rocker panel . Upon closer inspection, I found an indentation and jack mark under the side skirt jacking point arrow--specifically on the side skirt rather than the pinch weld. I immediately returned to the store and spoke with the manager, Thomas Eatherton. I explained that this appeared to be a case of human error, likely caused by incorrect jack placement. Mr. Eatherton acknowledged the possibility but could neither confirm nor deny the incident. He stated that a claim would be submitted and noted that the damage could not have occurred if the lift had been used, but in this case, a manual jack was used instead. Thinking that this process would have been better and safer, because a tech would know where to place the jack. Clearly, not the correct decision on this instance. Given the circumstances and the visible damage I have attached pictures of the damages. If you have a car that you care about, dont bring it here or make sure you stand outside and watch them. I came to this location a couple of months ago when I had a hole in my tire, and I was fully expecting to pay for it to be patched. But, they ended up selling me some tire insurance to the tune of 60 something dollars.... I think the sales pitch highlighted a free tire rotation service, which I later found out was already a free service. It's my fault for not inquiring more about what exactly I was paying for, but it all just seemed very predatory. I understand that it's a business of course, and they need to make money, but it just feels very negative vibrations. It's exactly what you would imagine when you think of that shady mechanic overselling you stuff you don't need yet but with a corporate stamp.... Be careful with the free services, they try to sneak in other services, charging for alignment, balencing etc... I finally came in today, to at least get this stupid tire rotation, since I already got suckered into it (might as well get something back). I made an online appointment for 1:30pm, but showed up around 9am, because I was in the area, and didn't mind waiting a while longer since I was already close by... I waited in the line, and dealt with one of the employees, and explained how I was already disgruntled from my past experience at this location. He proceeded to get defensive, and I just let it go. I tried waiting over an hour, after my initial interaction with the employee, and just ended up leaving! Total bust! The wait times are ridiculous, it's not even worth it. Even with the appointments....there is so many steps to their process, everything takes 2-3 hours! I called to see if the shop was busy enough to just have a tire inspection and potential flat repair. Gentleman that answered said, "Yeah, we're not that busy come on by." I told them I was 10mins away and got there accordingly. I drove up to a full lot, and I thought wow. They must be fast to tell me something like that. I found parking after making a lap around and walked inside. Waited for my turn to be spoken to and I was genuinely the only one standing there aimlessly being patient. Some guy that just walked through the door got greeted and put on the waitlist before me. Not saying it's hard to read the room, but with a room of people trying to mind their own business while sitting down and trying to distract themselves. I was literally the only guy standing in the center of the room. If this place is in need of business to tell potential customers that they aren't busy and walk ups/ins are totally feasible so-be-it. Just don't lead with a lie to waste someone's time. Not great of an experience when I usually have great service. 2 thumbs down . Double down, couldn't get what I optimistically hoped for, so I settled for the air check service. Not to be bothered as much as I'd like to express saying, I've wasted almost 30mins in finding my parking spot to waiting to be ignored to waiting again (almost 15mins) for the air check. I was about to get out of my car and ask if I needed to check in again for someone to come out. Dominic came out and as cool as a cucumber he carried himself. I was already at my wits end on this situation. Not saying to do better, but honesty and realistic warnings of time is ideal. I call to places before I go anywhere to save time.
