Had a tire leakage. Arrived and drove up next to the shop. Trolley jacks came out immediately after my identification of the tire with the leak. 15 minutes later I was back on the road. Fabulous service and great attitudes. American can-do spirit in action. These guys make America great! read more

Wait, WHAT?! This tire shop is so rad! No frills, quick service, and super affordable pricing! I love it. Like I said, Mexicali Tire Shop is not fancy. It's scaled back and honest - no pretense. It reminds me of every auto shop my Dad took my brother and I Dad to as children: The technicians/mechanics in their blue uniforms, with large, blackened hands that feel as strong as a vice, the manager who looks just out of the shower, and the cashier/owner/partner - usually the heart and/or soul of the business. It looks, feels, smells, and probably bleeds tire shop; a small business, a slice of the American dream. I love it. IDK what other services they offer but I do know that they'll mount and balance your tires, but they do not perform alignments. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend MEXICALI TIRE SHOP!!! I could not be happier. I was in and out in 15 minutes - NO JOKE! One patron drove all the way from Dana Point to get his new tires at Mexicali Tire Shop. That should tell you everything you need to know. read more

Incredible and quick! Got a tire patched up in less than 20 minutes on a Friday for a great price.

I had a screw in my tire and was told by Discount Tire Store that the tread was too low and theres no way they could fix it. My regular Audi mechanic (shout out to Beach House Imports) sent me to Mexicali Tire. The guys were nice, professional and had my tire fixed in 15 minutes. While one fixed my tire the other put air in the other three. Should be standard but these days you never know. Thank you Mexicali Tire! Will definitely be back! read more

Feb 14, 2026 Unfortunately my new Kia Soul ran over a large metal screw yesterday afternoon, in Fountain Valley CA. I only became aware that there was a problem when the low tire pressure warning light began to flash on the dash, and a warning tone started beeping. I drove to closeby Firestone Service and they had a 3 hour wait or possible first thing in the morning reschedule back log. I next drove to our local Kia Dealer in Huntington Beach, and they indicated a minimum charge of $65 plus leave the car a few hours... but advised that probably the tire would have to be replaced anyway because of the size of the bolt stuck I the tread. Needing to get home, I next dropped into Big O Tires on Beach Blvd in Huntington Beach, where they quickly looked at the tire and said the tire wasn't repairable, and it appeared that my smaller tire size wasn't in stock. Courteous staff, however. Plan B now meant replacing two tires at Costco early the next morning (two tires of the same size and brand and tread pattern, rather than buying one oddball brand replacement tire with a different tread pattern...also the factory spare was a limited-use temporary style). Fortunately, I heard about MexicalI Tire Corp of Costa Mesa from a neighbor who had an RV tire repaired recently, and seeing really great reviews on YELP, I decided to give hopeful repair chances one more try. I drove in to their Costa Mesa location on Saturday without an appointment, at 11:30 am, and was immediately greeted by two service techs who quickly removed the wheel from the vehicle, inspected, pressure and leak tested the tire, completed an internal tire surface grind and patch activity placement (not a plug!), refilled the tire and verified the correct pressure, and replaced the tire back. 25 minutes, start to finish. $20.00 was the total cosh... Cash or charge. Clean and friendly service, family-operated small business, no frills, no bait and switch games or "come back later" because were to busy attitude...just good work, quick service, affordable repairs, and a major cost savings compared to having to replace near new tires that only have 5,000 original miles on the set! Most impressed. Definitely a keeper. Their business card is in my glove box. Kia Owner in HB read more

Had a flat repaired and the nail/screw was quite close to the sidewall. The guy (supervisor?) said there would be no warranty on the repair since it was very close to sidewall. I said okay. Had a flat on same tire, same puncture in two days and brought it to another tire shop in Santa Ana. They said the patch Mexicali used was very very small (size of a dime) compared to their inch and a half round patch. They also put something (glue or putty) over the whole patch for protection and sturdiness. Over two months now and tire is still okay. Go to Ramos Tires and Auto Repair (N.Bristol Sta.ana) instead of Mexicali Tires in 19th, Costa Mesa! read more

I bought two tires a month and a half ago. A week ago while my son was learning to drive on the freeway one of the tires blew up on the 405. I went back and explained to them what happened and since it's a used tire, there's no warranty and I understood. So I went to pay full price for the tire and they cut the price in half. I am so thankful for them. I know they didn't have to do that. Will continue to go here for years to come. Thank you guys. read more

His attitude was also bad. We agreed on $120 for both tires, but after he finished the first one, he said it would be $130 to install both. He doesn't treat customers with respect. This was honestly a very bad experience. read more

Amazing service and price under $400 for 3 new tires and a patch in the other tire. Also only took about 30 minutes to install. The new tires come with a warranty of 40 months or 40,000 miles. Can't wait to be back! read more

I had a troubling tire that was constantly having a slow leak bringing the tire pressure at 5psi less than all the other tires no matter how many times I added more air to it. My bf called asking the price for a used tire. We went there straight away & they replaced my bad tire with a good used one along with bringing all tires to the same psi within 10 minutes. It was quick and easy. Would definitely return if needed & recommend to anyone. read more

"These two clowns stripped my lug bolts -- one of them is completely stuck now. Everything was fine before they touched it. They used the wrong size socket, rounded the bolts, and when I called them out, they just dropped the car off the jack and ran off into the shop like nothing happened. Total amateurs. Avoid this place at all costs. Funny thing -- when I was pulling in, some dude was waving at me not to go in... should've listened." read more

I purchased tires from here in the past and they lost air right away, one was flat the next morning. My mechanic checked them out and informed me they were about 15 years old. Price Did seem to go to be true. It took a lot to get my money back I had to get someone else involved but they finally did refund me my money and they got their old cracked dried out tires back. Be sure and check the DOT number that's on the tire if you purchase from here. Not handled well at all! read more

Great tire shop. Helped me out with a nail in my tire in under 15min. Helpful staff. And reasonable price.

Took my car here. $25 patch job. Under 10 min. Straight forward. Friendly crew. Recommend.

Been here many times. This is my goto place, whenever I get a flat over the past 7 years. Recently I had to replace two tires. While it is nice to have four matching tires, I truly only needed to replace two. Their prices are great because I may find nearly new tires for nearly half the price. When I call ahead to make sure they have my size, then go in, it makes for faster service time. Super nice people who offer great prices. Sometimes you can also find nearly new high end tires here for very reasonable prices. If you need tires and you aren't too picky, this is your next stop. read more

Super fast service and great selection of tires. They replaced my tire in less than 10 mins

This place is a rip off. Charged me $30 for a tire patch. I coulda just bought a used tire for that price. Especially since they said there is not guarantees there won't be a slow leak after since it was to far on the side tread. read more

Their used tires I've received had 80% or more tread at a 1/3 of the price of new ones out there. They will also tell you that you don't need a tire replaced rather than just sell you one like a lot of places. Would recommend calling first to see if they have your size tire for the used but they get new shipments every couple of Dara. Been going there for over 10 years now. read more

Phenomenal service. I pulled up with a nail in my tire and they were already working on two other vehicles right before closing hours. Without saying a word, he came over, looked at my tire, grabbed a jack, popped it off and patched it in less than 5 minutes, brought it right back and said you're good to go home. I had to ask to pay him because that was amazing. No questions asked, hands down, best service and affordable rates. Hard working dudes. 10/10 read more

Had 3 nails on my rear tire, called all the 'big' tire shops around Costa Mesa to get my tire patched, ALL refused on 'x-y-z' reasons. Not being my first puncture I've dealt with, I knew it could be done. But everyone had to give me a BS excuse on why it couldn't be done. Someone suggested I'd go here, I gave it a shot, and after arriving, I was out with a patched tire in no more than 30 mins!!! Driving as of now, So far so good Price is very reasonable too!
