The Experience: Honest Timeline: When I dropped it off, the employee told me it would be $35 and they had the whole thing completely finished in about an hour. That is a massive contrast to the ridiculous 5 to 6-hour timeline I was quoted by the other company. First-Class Customer Service: To make a great experience even better, when I arrived to pick up my vehicle, they told me the service was free since it was my first time ever doing business with them! Final Verdict: The customer service here was phenomenal, fast, and completely fair. I took my wife's car to get 4 new tires and an alignment. They tried to sell me all kinds of things that the car didn't need then they lied to me about needing a $350 rear camber kit to properly do the alignment. I took the car to Grand Prix and they did the alignment without having to buy anything extra and gave me a printout showing before and after. I went back to Big O Tires, talked to the manager Steve and asked for a refund for the terrible job they did. They still owe me $100. read more

I made an appointment this morning to get my oil changed at 3 PM so I drop my car off at 3 PM. I ask them "what's it gonna take 20 minutes or so so I could grab a bite or a beer" but they tell me an hour and a half 'cause they are busy, what the heck I literally made an appointment for just this reason waited hours until my appointment. Yikes this is not definitely NOT Service. This is just stupidity why even take appointments I should have just dropped my car off at noon. Incredible service. 2 weeks ago I had an issue where I was going to be waiting 2.5 hours for AAA pick up. I was in Newport Beach army bosses house. 320pm. I have e been to Big O in Cypress because they had great service and they were recommended. It was far enough away, I wanted to see about a closer one. I called Costa Mesa, CHAUNCEY answered and wow, what wonderful Customer Service!!! He was even gonna wait if I could be there close to 6.. AAA was telling me it'd be at least that. A piece had fallen under my car that was a cover. It would be ruined if I drove it. The service at the other store was a 60,000 mile one, and a Big one. Someone didnt attach it back correctly, also a special piece was ordered that a cover was sitting on the side. Mistakes happen, I get it.. but COSTA MESA fixed everything and literally had it done quickly. The tow showed up at 420, got me to BigO by 450pm and I was out the door by 530 or so. CHAUNCEY and the young man that he had fix my car were so amazing. I will be going here from now on. As I waited, a few customers came and went, and he was as amazing with them, as he was with myself. My friend is taking her car today for brakes!! I had to drive on a flat tire due to traffic and no place to safely pull over - was sure I damaged the sidewall. Technicians cleaned out the repair gunk I sprayed inside tire to inflate, they checked for punctures and assessed the sidewalls. They did not try to upsell me something I didn't need, and they also didn't charge me for their time since there was no damage to fix. My guardian angels of the day! I will not be returning. Disinterested service staff. Incorrect charges. I had a flat tire. They quoted a lessor tire. Then when I agreed, he said it was a bad recommendation and I should go for the more expensive tire. When I picked up the car they had overcharged me and did not offer a receipt. When asked to see the bill they had multiple added charges I did not agree to. Very haphazard and slightly confused experience. This place needs a manager that cares.
