Wow! I'm surprised they didn't find even more to add to the list--radiator fluid, fuel system cleaning, brake fluid exchange, power steering fluid exchange, battery replacement, air filter, cabin filter, belts... the list just kept going. We brought the vehicle in because the tire pressure warning light was on. I suspected the TPMS sensors were failing, and that's exactly what it turned out to be. I wasn't expecting to leave with such a long list of recommended services. What surprised me most is that we've routinely had the vehicle serviced at Toyota, including regular oil changes, and none of these items were ever brought to our attention. It just felt a little excessive. Don't get me wrong--I've had great experiences at other Big O Tire locations. This visit just felt more like an upsell than addressing the reason we came in. read more

The phone system let me make an appointment with the AI agent. No human ever answered the phone and there was no option for it. When I showed up the doors were locked and everything was closed. No sign saying closed. The AI agent even said "yes this store is open on Easter Sunday." Update: they texted me back 2 days later (apparently they had a lot of calls) and acknowledged that the AI system is buggy. Apparently scheduling appointments at closing time. So moral of the story, don't use the AI phone system at Big O Tires read more

Prices are all over the place, service is spotty and slow. Need to constantly follow up and check in. Was offered a "cash price" and no receipt. If you're good at negotiating this place is for you, but if you like clear up front pricing would not recommend this shop. read more

We got a flat tire. Called Big O in another city from where we bought it. They didn't have the tire but said they could get one in 30 minutes. By the time we had the car towed to their location the tire was there and it was fixed in less than 30 minutes. Excellent customer service. read more

Good service, unethical business practices. Was quoted online $892.25 and when I got to the shop it was about $930. They didn't honor the price even though my appointment confirmation clearly shows the price agreed to. They wanted to double the cost of mount and balance. read more

Unfortunately was scammed by Terry. Spent $6k+ to get work done in order for my car to pass smog and was never able to pass smog. Was given a run around, paid for smog 3 times out of pocket and still no real solution. This comment is being left before I report to corporate with a refund for the faulty catalytic converter. They are always quick and professional with a smile. This is where I go also when it comes to patching tires, they are very accommodating, and will fill your air if you stop by for free. Stopped by to get my tire patched since it had a needle in it. But then they started saying I needed two tires when my tires are NEW. Once I declined the offer of two other tires they didn't even want to patch my tire & I received attitude with it. This place is so amazing and they are extremely honest which is rare these days. I had a car that was jerking and totally not reliable so through a friend I took it to Big O Tires. They had to change a bunch of sensors, modules and a transmission. They actually told me that one of the sensors they replaced didnt need replacing and put the old sensor back and didnt charge me which saved me about a 1000.00. read more

Professional staff and great service. I scheduled an appointment on line and have spoken with on separate occasions Mishonda, Juan and Terry and they are very helpful and were able to squeeze me in for work on my car multiple times. So far they've replaced my wheels when they were really bald after some heavy rainfall, some headlamp/wiring issues, as well as the water pump which was leaking coolant. The interior is clean and has a bathroom and coffee while you wait. The staff updates you without prompting letting you know the progress of your vehicle's repair status. Overall a great repair experience and will be back for new serpentine belts and spark plugs for my car's scheduled maintenance. Thanks so much! Mishonda is super nice and went above and beyond for my first time there with the phone call making sure that I had the right address and location. 30 minutes until closing and I roll up with a low front tire asking if it can be fixed. I explained I'd never been here before but my son bought his tires here several times. Terry Ly helped me. He explained that fixing the tire depends where the damage is, but if it's fixable, the cost is $45. I said OK and hoped I didn't have to buy a new tire (or two). It's now a few minutes after closing and the tire is fixed. Terry said, since it's your first time here and we want to see you back ... no charge! I was shocked! I tipped $20 and was on my way. I've been bringing my cars here for years for regular service. I think they are fair and straightforward with their service recommendations. One manager said it's because they do it based on inspection where the dealers tell you things need replacing based on their mileage or time schedules. read more

Amazing ! Went into the shop after my shift was over. I noticed there was a nail stuck in one of my wheels. I explained to young gentleman what happen to the one wheel and he was on it. This being my first time at BigO Tires in Tustin I wasn't sure what to expect. I had such a wonderful experience! Thanks to Mishonda and Gabriel who went above and beyond to help me. I was able to get my car serviced (same day as I called) with new tires/alignment as well as new tire sensors. They also let me know I needed new back brakes and brake pads which I much appreciated. Juan was an absolute rockstar. We pulled up before they opened at 7 and were anxiously waiting for the doors to open. We're on a road-trip to Yosemite and my tire was flat, we tried to patch in San Diego before getting on the road and it held until we got up here. Juan was so professional and helpful - they didn't have the tire we needed in-stock so he had it delivered to his shop and we were back on the road by 7:45am. I had them change a tire for me, and during the tire change the tech said I needed new brakes and rotors. He said they were metal on metal, and gave me a quote for 1k for back brakes only. I took my car to a specialist because the brakes never squeaked or had a grinding noise, so I knew that wasn't correct. Sure enough, I still have 35-40% left on my brakes. This place is fine if you need something small, but be prepared to be hustled for an up-sale on things you don't need. read more

BEWARE -- misleading pricing and unnecessary work. I should have known better. I made an appointment because my tire pressure sensor light was on. We had already checked and filled the tires, and the pressure was fine. Within about 15 minutes, I was told that one sensor was bad and another had a battery that was "about to go out." I was quoted around $127. I agreed to fix the issue. An hour later, I was told they were taking my car for a test drive, which struck me as unnecessary. After questioning it, I was told the car needed to be driven for 15 minutes for the sensor to reset. I asked them to call the technician back and stop driving my car if the light was still on--I would take it to the Yorba Linda location instead. Despite this, the car was driven for over 15 minutes. When I checked out, the bill was almost $300. They had decided to replace both sensors without clearly confirming that with me. I said "change it," meaning fix the problem--not do additional work to increase the bill. This is not the first issue we've had with Big O. If you go here, insist on getting the old parts back and the boxes for any new parts--otherwise, you can't be sure what was actually replaced. Do NOT go to the Tustin location. Especially if you're a woman, get a second opinion. read more
