While getting gas I noticed something dragging under the car and upon closer inspection found that screws were missing. Hoping to find some screws to put in, I went to Autozone. Since they were not sure what type of screw I needed, I was told to try Jiffy Lube, since they had all the screws and fasteners that would be needed and it shouldn't be a big expense. Since I do not live in the area, I looked up the closest Jiffy Lube and so I went. Luckily it wasn't busy at the time. I explained my problem. The guys were nice and friendly and of course offered to sell me an oil change and all that. I mean, that is their job. The last review was 5 years ago so here's a new one. The employees were uncoordinated with each other. While one guy was doing the oil change and another guy was at the computer the last guy just seemed to be standing around lost. I was the only car there (now I see why). They took 10min just to take off my rear wiper blade and then another 5min to put a new one back on. When they put the new one on I also heard a crack. Luckily my rear wiper still works but I'm not sure for how long. With how unreliable the employees seemed I just didn't have any confidence in the service and I left more worried about my car than when I entered. Also, they're over priced like crazy. With just the oil change and $20 wiper blade, the bill was over $150-160. Then when I asked why it was so expensive, since Valvoline would be about $70-80, the guy at the computer input a "Promotional code" and lowered the price to $130ish. Like why didn't he put in the code at the beginning... After I asked again why it was so expensive all he said was "That's Jiffy Lube prices." There was no price break down at all. He also sighed and did a fed up look downward. Granted I'm sure he was tired since it was 2 hours before closing time on a Tuesday but there wasn't even any BASIC customer service. I don't know Jiffy Lube as a whole since I only ever go to Valvoline but I'll never go back to that Jiffy Lube on Pendleton Pike ever again. My ball joint broke and my car was undriveable. My husband called and they gave us a price and estimated time over the phone. They showed up sooner than quoted and towed our car to our mechanic. The price they gave us over the phone is what we paid. They were fast and friendly. I have used them a few times and the services is always A1 read more

Got home to find my skid plate hanging off my truck.... went back and spoke with the manager and all he could say is the guy that did the work called in sick... really poor management and sad work.... I would advise finding some where else... read more

Clarence discovered that even though I have been charged for a cabin air filter at my last oil change, they had never bothered to put one in! Had a terrible experience at the Midas right down the street before coming here, the workers there didn't even greet me for about 10 minutes and once greeted the worker had a bad attitude and was rude. You can't trust someone who doesn't even respect you with your car. I left and went to Jiffy Lube and had a great experience.They get you in and out and are very informative, they let you know everything going on with your car. They even vaccumed out my passenger side. read more

$500 damage to my vehicle from not putting the oil drain plug in correctly. Plug was forced in at an angle damaging the threads on the oil pan. Is this kind of work that difficult? I'm not a mechanic but if I am trying to put a screw into a hole I know to stop if it is not moving smoothly. read more

Paid for a marked up oil change, didn't even change the oil filter, this place is a joke!! Great experience! Very professional and courteous. The manager, Clarence, did a wonderful job helping me with my situation. I had a headlight out and needed to get it replaced as quickly as possible. I wasn't able to make to their location before they closed. Clarence suggested that I come to the shop a 1/2 hour before they officially opened the next morning. When I arrived at 7:30, the next morning, he was already there, awaiting my arrival. He had me in and out of the shop in a matter of no time and I didn't have to be late for work. UPDATE TO A PREVIOUS REVIEW! I'm extra unhappy with this establishment now. When they were offering all of the different "extras that I needed" they advised I had a headlight out and a parking light out. I thought it was a bit odd because I'd just had them replaced and hadn't noticed they were out. I declined the offer and had my Brother-In-Law look at it to replace it. He was shocked to see that the only problem was they were UNPLUGGED... the only way that happens is if someone unplugs them intentionally. POOR BUSINESS! I feel like they really tried to take advantage of me. Will never return. read more

One thing I hate about Jiffy Lube is the constant upselling they always try to do. Service was fairly quick and I didn't have to wait long. My issue, I was charged with extra stuff I didn't ask for. I specifically said NO to everything extra they asked me to get. I thought the price was ridiculous so I pulled out my previous receipts and low and behold they added three extra services to my oil change only. I think I will stick to my other Jiffy Lube. I now see why this one was so quick.....no one wants to patronize thieves. read more

I like to do things spare of the moment and Jiffy Lube made it possible for me to do so. I am preparing to ship one of my cars to FL to my husband who is in the Navy. I went to Midas earlier and they said they didn't have time to do it, so I went to Jiffy and they were nice and got it all done like SNAP, CRACKEL, POP fast! Yes it was more expensive than Midas. This was my first visit to Jiffy Lube in years, what an improvement with the service I received! The employees were very courteous and the manager "Clarence" answered every question I had, was friendly yet very professional making sure he double checked that my vehicle was serviced according to specifications! I didn't just have an oil change, (fluids checked/filled where needed, tires aired, windows cleaned and last but not least floor vacuumed! All was done in less than 30 min.) I am furious with this place. If I could put no stars I would! I would have never said that prior to this review. I actually went to them twice already and had not had an issue and now the first time I get a tire rotation it is completely horrible! My car shakes like crazy and it's due to it not being balanced. Really?! Why do you charge to rotate someone's tires and not have The capability to actually have them balanced? That makes absolutely no sense, so now I'm going through the streets with my car shaking every time I reach 55 to 60 miles an hour. I bring the vehicle back and explain that to the manager, And he tries to blame it on my dealership....nooooo!!! I am positive my car never shake before I got it and I bought it brand-new so noooo! Today I went to go get a back tail light fixed. They told us it would be 25 minutes. Okay great. We go to the waiting room and hangout. 40 minutes later we walk out to check on everything. And a man asked me what kind of oil I needed, to which I replied I do not need any oil, I'm here to fix one light. While talking to the guy I noticed they had the hood up. I went over and asked what was going on. They said that there was miscommunication. They thought we needed an oil change but then the guy corrected him and said we needed the back light fixed. They said they already drained the oil so we would be getting a free oil change. Well we weren't to happy about that because we had just got an oil change 3 weeks ago and we put synthetic oil in the car. Then they brought the car over and told us that they can't fix the light because there is a piece of metal in the way. They apologized about the miss communication and we went on with our day. We waited for an hour and 10 minutes, to get nothing. We got an oil change, but I don't even know what kind of oil they put in my car. Not too happy! read more

This place is awesome! I just bought my first car and had trouble with it. I stopped by to have the car looked at and the guys there could not have been nicer. They explained what was going on and I was able to take it back to the dealer to make it right. Gary (the manager) was very respectful while explaining everything, not talking down to me because 1. I know nothing about cars and 2. I am a young woman. (I had that happen at the dealership ). I will be returning to this Jiffy Lube for everything else my car may need.
