I attempted to be a returning customer but when I told them the noise my front brakes were making, I was told "take it to Firestone or Meineke down the road because we aren't doing any more diagnostic." I asked why and the man stated that his manager told them not to perform any diagnostics. I stated that it made no sense and reiterated that I just got work done to the back brakes and struts at this location, and that I am a repeat customer and he told me to take it somewhere else and "good luck." A big thank you to the man at the front desk who checked me in and the men who worked on my car last Wednesday! I overfilled my car with too much engine oil and had to pullover because my car was smoking and not driving smoothly. I called this Jiffy Lube location which was 3 minutes away from where I had stopped at. I was going to drive my car to their shop, but was so worried about driving my car while it was smoking and I didn't want to be blown up to pieces. Jerry, I think was his name who worked at the front desk calmed my nerves and told me to check my dipstick. He told me he thought it would be safe to drive over and told me to drive slowly. After I got there, my car was taken in right away and they were able to drain the excess engine oil out. They filled me in on what was going on and answered the questions I had. It's Sunday. I crashed in here with an odd thing needing to be taken care of: a single tire swap between an old rim and a new one. Look I get it. There's a worker shortage and screw the man. But nobody, and I mean NOBODY, will even answer the phone or can bother to be open during published business hours. I'm about over it. But I bounced in here unannounced and by the time it takes me to walk next door and back these guys have my daughter's car on a lift and are taking care of business after I cleared up the confusion I caused with my weird needs. I normally always go to jiffy lube, but I've never been to this location before. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! They have the best staff here! Extremely knowledgeable, cares about their customers, and really exudes a company that is a fine oiled machine (pun intended)! My rear brakes went out, other things went wrong, but they worked with me, they were transparent, and I could not have better things to say. Once I have a seat, immediately I hear the tech that greeted me say to the tech, you broke the valve stem. I can hear the the air coming out of my tire while I'm sitting there. So after sitting there and watching 5 - 6 customers come and get checked my car is still sitting there. The tech comes to tell that they have to order me a valve stem and they will put on a temp valve stem on until the new one comes in. Also my tire sensor will not read because of the temp valve stem. Ok? Not happy... I'm still sitting there, then I go outside to calm down the tech approached to tell me that all of the oil didn't come out using their draining unit and they had to drain the rest of the oil manually. Now, I worked for Penske Chevy as a service advisor and they performed my oil change many times over. You don't have to use anything to drain the oil and after the conversation my tire is still flat. Now, I've been sitting for one hour and 15 minutes, no one has fixed my tire. I approached the Tech that greeted me and told him I had to leave, can someone get working on my tire. He asked one of the other techs to fix the tire and I was told a 15 minute wait. After another 40 minutes, I see the Tech having an issue putting on my tire, my truck is pulled our of the bay a little and he tells me that one of the lugs is stripped. Now, I'm pissed off because the last time my tires were off, all my lugs were fine. He tells me that was stripped before he took off the tire. Lies!!! I used Jiffy Lube years ago with my Caddy and said I would not come back but I gave it a change. I will NEVER go back after they get my tire fixed. Total time was almost 2 hours. Working in automotive service, this is ridiculous and unacceptable on some many levels. You don't start servicing other customers and have me waiting that long when you have broken my valve stem on my tire and stripped my lug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was given a discount but I'm not satisfied even with the discount because I have to take time to come back to get my tire fixed!!!!!!! Yes I needed front brakes and they were so friendly and understanding I would need to ask my boss as I have a Company car. Made and appointment for 1-3-20 at 10:00 arrived on time and they had me in and out in 65 minutes. They have WiFi so I was able to work, restroom was clean, lobby was clean as well. My boyfriend and I live down the road around 96th and Allisonville, so we thought we'd take our cars over to the Jiffy Lube to get the oil in our cars changed. Bad idea. It started off well enough, with someone coming out to greet us. They asked what services I needed so I told them, then they took my keys and I went inside to wait as they had instructed. Half an hour later, another person called me up to the desk, then took me out into the car bay where my car waited. I've never been upsold so aggressively in my life (and I used to work in retail, so this is saying something). I went for a few things-higher mileage oil and an air filter change, since my car is getting up there in mileage and I hadn't had it changed in a while. Twenty minutes more and $70 later, I was on my way. My boyfriend's car took even longer than mine. Later that day, my car smelled horrible. My boyfriend's car started shaking, and a week later the Change Oil light was back on like the oil had never been changed in the first place. All in all, there was no real lasting damage to either of our cars, but I won't be making the trip back to this particular establishment. read more

This was the quickest and friendliest oil change I've received! I arrived and was promptly greeted by a gentleman asking which services I required. With a smile on his face he walked me to the clean waiting room and directed me to the coffee and the chairs. He politely asked me to wait while he pulled up my information and clearly explained the costs of my oil change. He told me my wait would be around 15 minutes. I waited 10 for my car to be done!! As we were shopping in Castleton, we had to pull over because Rob's car was making a rattling noise. He checked the fluids and realized that the engine basically had no oil in it. We noticed a Jiffy Lube in the same parking lot, and he ran down to get some oil. When he returned, he had a tech with him who was like "You need to get your car in my shop. Like now." The tech, Chris, was beyond prompt and professional, getting us back on the road in no time! I feel super lucky that we happened to break down right next to this location. Took my car in at 930a to get an oil and brake job. Was told it would take about 1-1.75 hrs to complete. Fine, walked over to Half Price Books and spent 1.5 hrs there. Came back to see my car parked outside. I thought what perfect timing. Wrong. They hadn't even started working on the brakes. They said they had 4 cars ahead of me that had 10a appts. When I reminded him I got there at 930. He said they had done my oil change first and then put my car in line behind the others. It would be another 2hrs before they could get to my car. This place is a joke. None of the employees/management can get on the same page. I got a flat tire in October and got a new tire with warranty at JL. Come February, I get another flat tire (same one that I just had replaced at JL). I get a new tire for free under my warranty, after having to call to follow up more than 3 times and getting no direct answer to whether my tire was in or not. I finally get the tire a week later. Since I was covered under warranty I was not charged for that visit. Come 4 weeks later I get another flat, same tire again. I call and JL orders me a tire. No one calls to let me know it's in. I call them a few days later and they say it's in, come by and we'll put it on for you. I go and after being there for 15 minutes I'm told that someone ordered the wrong tire. They order the tire in front of me so "I can see that they're doing it correctly this time". I ask about how warrantys work with them since I've gotten one new tire already under my warranty. The first guy I spoke to couldn't answer my question, and his co-worker stepped in and explained it to me. I come back the next day to get the correct tire put on and spend about an hour waiting listening to employees cuss and take smoke breaks while I'm sitting up in my lifted car for 30 minutes. If I knew that someone was doing something like prepping my tires, etc., I'd have no issue with waiting, but there was no communication. They finally get my tire on and then charge me in full even though I have a warranty. I tell them I have a warranty and they say "well we put a nicer tire on thats not under your warranty" "we didn't know you have a warranty" I said do you not remember me asking about how warranty's work yesterday? The guy said "I remember you asking about warranties but don't rememeber you directly saying you had a warranty" Hmm. Then he says "I have your last invoice here from Sept. 2020" (trying to tell me that that was my most recent visit with them) I said "I was literally here a month ago and got a tire under my warranty" -- Handed him my receipt. He then goes on to say that "an employee made a mistake with that invoice" yet it was the MANAGER who took care of me at that visit???? They go on to give me 10% off which then turns to 25% but then say their "hands are tied". I paid and left. I work in customer service and feel so under-valued and un-heard. I have taken my vehicle into other jiffy lube locations and have not had a problem. I needed to get my tires rotated. After a couple days, I heard strange sounds and figured out my lugs were not tightened. I ended up talking to a manager, and he played it off that nothing was wrong. Went to get a quick oil change and tire rotation. They broke a bolt off, offered to replace it for $40 and supposedly filled all tires to 32psi. Bought a new bolt and lug nut for $4.04 instead and double checked the air. 47, 27, 41, and 26psi. But they did gave me $5 off for such a long wait. read more

I got an oil change here a few days ago and my car started making some strange sounds so I pulled over to investigate. Upon inspection I saw they had not put the drain plug on tight enough because all my oil was pouring out of the car. I moved to Indianapolis 3 years ago! I started coming to this jiffy lube on allisonville, it is great! I never go anywhere else! They always take care of me, they offer me the service I might need to fix, and give me a recommendations so I know what I might need to fix next time. They even helped me a few winters ago, when my gas tank had a hole in it because I ran over a chunk of ice. They plugged it till I could get it fixed, by my friend. I only have great things to say! They are quick, so nice, and always willing to tell me the truth. They make me feel in control, and never trying to pull anything over on me! read more
