Thought I had muffler issues with my 20 year old car. They created appointment to check it out and did it at the appointed time. Gave me an estimate to fix what amounted to holes due to rest in exhaust piping. Quoted me fair price to fix. Said bring it back tomorrow at 9am and you will be out by around noon. I did that and they did that. Replaced some exhaust sections and otherwise made made a loyal customer. Great to work with. Did not try to mess with me. read more

Came in because my starter went bad in the jeep I bought two months ago. They let me bring the new part in and fixed the issue in less than an hour. Jacob was super helpful and went out of his way for every customer that walked through the doors while I was waiting. Next morning I tried starting my car and turned out my catalytic converter, o2 sensor, and transmission fuel line was stolen overnight. Getting it fixed at another Midas location where my friend works. My luck is awful with cars but I appreciated the service that was provided here! And I apologize to Brandon and John for the stressed out phone call the next morning before I knew what was going on. read more

Left negative review on location page- 82nd street Castleton...they deleted it and emailed me personally. Email had no contact phone number from who says his name was Mike Pratt-President of Midas. The irony was the typed words were identical to the words the female "division manager" said to my daughter in person on 9/14 according to the recording. The most comical part of all of this is just because they are a franchise does not mean I will not get down to the bottom of the shenanigans. The cream always rises to the top. Jeffrey the manager of 82nd street in Castleton has been recorded three times on 9/14 and little does he know his lies will soon catch up to him. He humiliated, embarrassed, wasted my time and annoyed myself and my daughter and he will have to deal with the consequences of his unprofessional actions. So whomever decides to make a bogus comment from Midas on here try using the phone number on the profile from my visit instead and quit hiding behind emails. read more

I've been taking my 2007 Chevy Malibu here since the day I purchased the used vehicle which was about four years and she runs like new. Midas does a great job at identifying risks and mitigating them leaving me driving off feeling the improvement. I brought one of my cars here to have a custom exhaust made for it and a performance muffler put on. They gave me a fair quote and it turned out to be less than quoted. Went back in a week later to have a different muffler tip put on that fit nicer and matched the car/style better. Took 30 minutes. 10 of that was to get the other car out and put mine on the lift for my turn. Since I came back so soon from my first visit, the owner didn't even charge me. I went up to pay and he waved me out the door and said "Just make sure you come back to us" Now that is cool... The staff is very helpfu, very friendly. Witing room has comfortable seating, tv, coffee. Really... add in the service of the staff and it just doesn't get better. I was very impressed. read more

I brought my vehicle in to have an estimate done on the front brakes. I had previously taken it to the dealership and the price quoted was really high. Midas checked my brake pads and determined they were fine with plenty of wear left. The asst. manager did not comment or speculate as to the reason why the dealer said I needed new pads. ( This evaluaton was done as part of the dealer inspection while other service was being performed. I had no known problems wiht the brakes.) I appreciated that he acted professionally. What he did find was a missing lug nut on one wheel. Hmmm.. dealer above had rotated tires at last service. Midas replaced the lug nut and did not charge me at all. That is the type of service that will bring me back when I do actually need brake pads! Thank you! read more

Midas gave me a good price for 2 new tires. Walmart was going to charge me about $170 and the gentleman at Midas quoted me about $150. I scheduled an appointment at 8 a.m. the other morning and received great customer service. He made sure to check which side I wanted my tires to be on, since I already had 2 new tires on the right side. They have nice magazines out for customers and the news playing on a TV. I noticed another customer asking lots of questions and the employee answered all of her questions. They finished my tires in about 40 minutes flat. I will definitely return for such great service. read more

I was VERY impressed with Mr. Owens, Sales and Mr. Foster, Technician. They were both very friendly and were both knowledgeable. Besides replacing my brake pads, they drew attention to a fluid leak I had. Since it is still under warranty for 6 more months through Hyundai, they told me to try the Hyundai dealer first. Very Honest!! I have already spread the word about your employees. My son said he found it so rare to find such qualified and honest people that he will definitely go to you and send his friends, as well. read more

Nobody likes to spend a lot of money on unexpected car repairs, but it's a lot harder to take when you are told one price and have to pay a lot more than expected. The manager gave me an estimate of $715 and said my car would be done the following day. This was no problem, and I agreed on the price and the service that was discussed. When I went to pick up my car, the person at the counter told me that the repairs would cost $925. This difference of more than $200 was shocking and not what was discussed the previous day. The man working the counter called the manager who informed him that he forgot to include some parts on the estimate and that they could "dig out the old parts out of the trash and put them back on my car" or that I could pay for the parts they put on without my permission. I was very disappointed in the service provided by the new manager and will not be returning to this Midas location. read more

They replaced my o2 sensor wire connector and wired it backwards. It ended up costing me $ 2600 before I was able to finally get it corrected. It would die when I came to a stoplight and almost got me killed. It ruined my engine. They didn't want to take any responsibility. read more

I recently got my oil changed for my car at the Midas on 6435 E 82nd St Indianapolis and a guy told me my car would not start and I have never had this problem I asked for my key he walked away I asked the manager were is my key and he said O in the ignition. So I walk to my car with the manager and my key was jammed in there like who ever tried had tried to force my car to start had my key jammed in at the acc part so I had to get my key out with out breaking it. Then the manager never said sorry after I said he left my key jammed instead he asked me if this always happens and I said never it has never ever showed any signs of getting stuck. I mean he saw that my key was jammed in there by the guy who tried starting my car and just left it like that.Then he told me I need a new steering column. So after trying to get my car started for 15 mins they changed my oil but didn't take the seat cover out or the mat cover just left that in my car and handed me my keys which is poor customer service. So I called after work the next day the manager remembers my problem because it took me a hour to start my car because now my key is sticking even though I have had this car for a year with no problem and he told me pretty much that that is not his problem that it just happen to jam and get my key stuck which breaks my ignition lock and he said that it can happen at anytime and that I should be upset because my car is a 08 and that I need to take it somewhere else and get it fixed and I said that doesn't sound right and he said they fix this problem more then I know . I would understand if my car never started to begin with but my key was jammed in there. I don't understand why no one came to me first before jamming my key in there. All wanted was this fixed and he seemed like he didn't want to do anything other then tell me there is no way any of his guys could of broke it and I am stuck with what has happen to my car. So I called upper management the next day told them my story the said they look into so I get a call by upper management and the manager and 2 other employees lied about what happen and changed there story and said that the guy gave me my keys when he could not start my car and it jammed on me even thought there manager was with me without my keys a saw they were stuck in there so they tell me there is nothing they can do because they cant even do that kinda job on steering columns even thought prior to my first talk with the manager he said they fix broken steering columns all the time. So they pretty much to me I am stuck with something that broke in their care and I am responsible now I am taking them to court ... So if you want your car to get messed up and have a team full of certified liers and take no responsibility they will do that 110% read more

After dropping my 2013 Chevy Cruze off to have a simple oil change and brake pads replaced, I was called by the manager Steve Owens and told my car, which was in perfect order when I dropped it off, suddenly had an extremely loud screeching sound when the engine was running. To my surprise I was told he didnt know what it was and immediately became defensive saying they did nothing to my car. I was told to pick it up and have a mechanic look at it. So I picked it up and started to drive it to the Chevy dealership in Anderson for the mechanic to look at it. Needless to say, enroute the engine blew up completely ruining my car. Now I'' faced with replacing an entire engine and turbo system or buying a new car. The mechanic doscovered there WAS NO OIL in the car & NO COOLANT. Now, it was supposed to have had an oil change, and when I dropped the car off I was told they would chrck the fluid levels and top it off for me. Clearly this didnt happen and obviously I will be seeking legal advice over this incident. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! A 2013 car with 105,000 miles in good condition doesnt just have an engine blow up! read more
