I took my car to this shop on 2/7/26 looking to get my brakes fixed, the loud popping sound I heard…read morewhile driving and anything else I needed to pass inspection. After the diagnostic they said I needed 4 tires, a right front hub and barring assembly, left front inter tie rod, exhaust gasket, high mount brake bulb, wiper blades and an alignment. The price they gave me was $2300 for everything. I called around to some other shops to price compare and every other shop I got in contact with charged under $2000 for the work but because it was urgent and I didn't want to take any more risk driving the car in its condition i had them get started. I picked my car up the following day and the break light was still on which was an immediate a red flag. I went back in and told the mechanic that worked on my car about it and he said "Im not sure why it's still on but maybe after you drive it around it will register and turn off". I also noticed the tires did not look new; from the dirt on them to within minutes of me driving off the TPMS light came on indicating I need to put air in my tires I just bought. Last but not least my acceleration would have a hard time keeping up with a turtle, which was not an issue before I took my car to this shop. I called them back 2/12/26 addressing the issues Im experiencing with my car due to a lack of proper work and diagnostic from Mr Tire's mechanic. During the call I told the manager about my acceleration, my tire pressure, and my brake light still being on, which again was already supposed to be taken care of in my first payment. They scheduled me for today 2/21/26 8:00am. When I got there the manager told me that they can only look at the tires and one other thing I don't want to misquote, but they don't have anyone that can check on my acceleration problem which was my most important things I needed fixed. Why I wasn't made aware of that before I drove all the way there Im not sure. He also told me I would have to pay additional cost for this work. I find that ridiculous, they are over priced and won't even get all the work done properly. They basically are trying to charge me extra money for a problem that should have already been fixed. I would NEVER go to this shop again nor would I recommend Mr Tire to ANYONE.

Very very poor customer service. I stopped in one day and scheduled an appointment for a week in…read moreadvance and I asked if he was able to do an oil change with my own oil/filter and a state inspection/emissions, which he agreed to and verbally gave me a quote. I then stopped by the day before my appointment to confirm. The owner was very cranky and short with me, but said that everything was in order for tomorrow. I could not get a straight answer out of him about how long it would take for service and so I told my employer I would need an entire day off from work since the shop is only open M-F. I arrived on time for my appointment and the owner proceeded to yell at me and even chased me out of the shop for letting him know I'll wait in the waiting room since I don't have access to transportation outside of my car. He told me that he doesn't run his business that way and would not perform any service and that he was doing me a favor to use my own oil as he never offers to do it. Here I thought I was doing him a favor for bringing him my service since he's the neighborhood service shop. Why would he give me a quote, have a waiting area, and then refuse to perform service? Maybe he doesn't need customers and wants to end up like so many of the previous Morningside tenants, vacant. Something is very fishy here, and I would advise people to stay away!

I was not surprised to be told at the 2nd place that there was in fact NO rust other than normal underneath!! They even walked me around the car with flashlights and showed me--NO RUST!
