The automated answering machine when I called in the morning said no appointment needed and that store hours are through 7:30pm on Fridays. I called again when I was on my way and the answering machine said, at 6:40pm, that they were closed, yet when I went anyway thinking they might be open, the store hours on the door indeed said 7:30pm on Fridays. I had arrived at 7:07pm, and all lights were off, no cars in the parking lot, and the door was locked. A very disappointing experience, but perhaps I should have taken a hint with the second phone call. I would not return or recommend this location. read more

I have always found that they were a bit high in price but always have a 10 buck off coupon. They were extremely busy so it took a bit of time. The customer before me tipped the employee. I didn't, and the sarcastic response from the employee on not tipping makes sure I don't go back to that one. When did tipping have to be for every transaction. read more

My son took one of our cars in for an oil change. They tried to sell him everything they have including a new cabin filter to replace the "dirty" one which we had just installed ourselves. They also told him that two of the brake lights are burned out. He declined and drove the car home where we checked the lights. Amazingly, they are all working just fine. read more

A little upset with this visit. Came by last week to get a tire plugged, alignment, and oil change. The manager on duty greeted us and was extremely friendly but stated since we came around 6 they couldn't do the alignment. He was extremely helpful and kind. He offered to do the tire plug for free as a courtesy since they were already filling the tire with air and said it was an easy fix. We really appreciated that and said we would get it done when we came back to do all the work. He even topped the tire off with air as a courtesy since it was low. Great customer service by the manager on duty that day. Today I brought the car in to get the work done and the manager on duty Josh was not friendly at all almost rude. I told him we came by last week and what happened and he was like no the tire plug will be $25 and that they should've never offered to do it as a courtesy. I'm all about paying for service but $25 dollars to plug a tire is highway robbery. I asked how he came up with that number(how many hours and at what rate) he was not helpful and made this experience not as good as I expected from my impressions of coming by last week. I also asked to put air in the spare tire and we responded if we can access it. It's easily accessed but he did not seem to care about customer service like the other manager we spoke with. A managers role is supposed to make sure the client is happy and I did not feel that way(I am writing this as I am waiting) I come here for all of our vehicles but will make sure if Josh is working to stay away. Managers need to be trained to have the highest customer service level when dealing with customers, he barely made eye contact when talking and was more so just worried about telling me the prices for everything which was not my concern I knew I needed the work and was willing to pay. Just a very tasteless experience when one manager was extremely nice and willing to help but Josh on the other hand was not at all! UPDATE: Arshad my advisor was extremely professional and polite. He listened to my concerns and made sure everything got taken care of. I can't speak more highly of him and appreciate his help! This is the type of customer service that should be expected when dealing with a MANAGER. I will come back just because Arshad made sure to turn my unpleasant experience into a good one. Josh needs to take some tips from his other colleagues on how to properly treat clients! He should not be a manger if he wants to act the way he does! Last week, I needed an oil change quickly before a road trip. They asked to rotate my tires too. I was told my brakes needed to be done - and not to wait long. The mechanic gave me an estimate of around $500. Today I took my car to my regular shop. Two mechanics thoroughly checked and road tested it. The brakes are perfectly fine. Greg was very helpful to me and although my visit did not go as expected, he helped me as best he could. My brake calipers seized and so halfway through doing the job, they had to grab some parts which were not at the store. Greg was very apologetic although I know it wasn't anyone's fault having done brakes myself a few times. He helped get me back on the road ASAP so I was only a little late for work. And probably most comforting was the fact that he kept updating me as the job was progressing so I could keep my work apprised of the situation. I've been going to this Jiffy Lube for years and years. Never again! I was in the store about a month ago and the service guy calls me over to review all the check points. He said I am almost due for a break job. I told the guy thank you I will call my guy for an estimate. He said, "we can do them here." I told him no thank you. I gave my car to my guy and I got a call an hour later telling me I had 50% life on my breaks and he couldn't sell me anything wrong with my car!! The Jiffy Lube on West Street rocks. They top off your oil anytime you need it after your initial service. I have a 44-year old car that burns oil like a furnace and appreciate this benny. The manager let me pull it up to the front of the store on a busy Friday night before a 3-day weekend. I had a great experience at this JL location! I came in for an oil change, but asked if they could also check out my brakes. After a thorough explanation and listing of what I needed to purchase, we agreed on a few additional services - prices and services seemed fair. I was relieved they were able to accommodate me late on a weekday with quite a few other customers. They also looked at my brakes, and provided me with solid information for future visits. There was no pressure to purchase additional services! The guy who looked at my brakes found something wrong with my tire, which had not been pointed out by the other Jiffy Lube I visited. Anyway, I felt like I was in good hands here and that all my car's needs were met! Oil change was fine, then the greeter tried to get me to buy a new cabin air filter for $50, and showed me "my" dirty filter, which was white but dirty. I declined as they cost less than $15 and install in 1 min. Checked when I got home and my actual filter was not very dirty and is activated carbon type, NOT the dirty white one he showed me! I can't say enough how incredibly nice the staff is here at Jiffy Lube. I was having an issue with my oil leaking in my Volkswagon, and had to return a few times to have the issue remedied. Recommend you avoid this one. Search for it on google for more info. While there, I personally saw them damage two cars, and the manager seemed completely indifferent to the issues. In one case they broke a fuel line on a pickup, and in the other they cross-threaded and stripped the oil drain plug. They did not offer any help, discounts, or refund in either case. This review is to the technician who rang up my bill. I was quoted $145 for a synthetic oil change and tire rotations. I said okay. I was then told I needed front brakes but I expressed that all I have is the $145 right now, and couldn't afford brakes. I get my car back and go to the cash register. My total is $150. I expressed twice that I was quoted $145. The man ringing up explained the price changed because they charge to remove the skid pad before the oil change. They knew I had a VW Jetta, so why was this charge not on the initial quote? Was it because I couldn't afford brakes and they needed to charge me for a third thing. Is the company policy to not let someone out the door unless you've added hidden fees ? Why did they not tell me upfront that they charge for this. I kept saying I was quoted $145. He just stared at me silently. I'll never go there again. They lost a customer. read more

Stopped in on a Sunday morning for an oil change and had my wife follow me so i could go cut the grass and then pick my car up after I finished. The manager was at my car door before I even got out - told me it would take ten minutes to do the oil change and proceeded to get it done in about 5 minutes. My wife didn't make it back home before I was done and we live close to the shop! I followed up with another visit on Monday with another car and it was the same experience - fast, efficient and customer focused. This Jiffy Lube is great! I went today to have my tires and fluids checked and was in the waiting room for only a few minutes when Greg came in and said "you're all set". I asked what do I owe you and he said "nothing". He told me that he put air in my tires and filled up the wiper fluid and everything else looks fine so he wasn't going to charge me for that. I know if I had gone some place else, they would have charged me! I highly recommend this location because of their customer service and efficiency! So I'm not good at getting my oil changed regularly. (shame on me.). Recently the warranty for free oil changes expired with my dealership and the price went way up. So I researched a bit and found my local jiffy lube was much cheaper (score!) when I arrived I was greeted right away by Clinton. He was so friendly! He introduced himself to me and gave me an overview of what he'd be doing. This alone prompted me to want to write this review. Good Customer service is so hard to come by these days! I was pleasantly surprised. Next I met Gavin the customer service rep and again great service. He was very detailed and gave me recommendations for future services but wasn't a pushy salesmen. Turns out we're neighbors too! I never had service like this at my dealership! My car was returned to me in less than 15 minutes and was vacuumed! I will return to this location for future services. He could not have cared less. Windows were dirtier then when I arrived. Oily hand prints on parts of my car. Tire pressure light won't stay off after they aired up all the tires. Fast but poor.
